MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 6 is holds the Peak Energy of Flow. Dynamic developments are possible as we take on the power of Momentum. Tone 6 establishes a rhythm and pattern of movement.
We were inspired to create the world as we dreamed it could be. By the Power of Spirit, we are capable to manifest any dream. The work of our Spiritual Climb is to hold the Vision of our Dream in our Consciousness, exactly as we would experience it in the future.
Crocodile/IMIX is the Primordial Mother who was present to witness our first moments of Consciousness. IMIX is the Divine Feminine holding the Consciousness for Discernment and the Gift of Compassionate Love.
IMIX is the Mother of Invention that Inspires us to Dream. This is a day known for “wild ideas” that come out of the blue. We’re connected to the Divine Mind of Consciousness. IMIX shares random ideas that may not make any sense. They don’t have to. The purpose is to shake us out of old patterns of thinking to inspire innovation.
BEGINNING THE 11th UINAL: The Intention of the 11th Uinal is Resolution. The 11th uinal intends to bring clarity to our understanding that will resolve our way forward. Number 11 relates to Divine Discernment that guides our Higher Meaning and Purpose.
Crocodile/IMIX is the Mother of Invention. IMIX speaks to us in random thoughts and wild ideas that seem to come out of the blue. Through Consciousness we will discern the Voice of IMIX as coming from a source outside of our self, by its nature of interrupting our own thoughts.
IMIX is a very mentally active day. It’s a good day to write down all your ideas, no matter how wild they seem. They are prone to come together later in interesting ways. My diary for IMIX has held inspiration for ideas that came together later. IMIX inspires questions that lead to our own ideas. Those who follow the “wild ideas” of IMIX are said to be seen for their genius.
Genius ideas and inventions are often considered crazy in the beginning. IMIX helps us see that old ideas won’t create anything new. Drawing a picture with your eyes closed is an exercise that is offered to inspire creative ideas. Something always comes through that captures the imagination.
IMIX shakes us out of our Human Mind of Reason into the realm of our imagination. To be genius, we can’t be bound by the opinions of others. Our world is our own expression of Art that isn’t bound by any rules.
On Tone 6 all our ways and means become second nature. We are establishing a pattern, flow, and rhythm. Like a dancer who has learned all the steps and in the final performance all the physical elements come together as an Expression of Art.
Peak Tones 6, 7, 8, and 9 hold the highest energy of the trecena. These are the best days of the cycle to do anything that requires our peak performance, peak thinking, and peak communication.
The Wisdom/CIB trecena is sharing the Fundamental Wisdom of Forgiveness. If anything, I’ve felt more pathetic and broken. The Elders said that to achieve spiritual growth you had to have the courage to look in to your self. Old thoughts and worn out ways have been the clouds on my horizon. All the facts and justification are there to be offended. They’re passing thoughts I let go by today. I used to engage the suffering as my justice. Now I know there is a place to heal it in a Divine Way. I believe in Divine Justice.
May we not forget to Forgive our Self, for not being everything we thought we wanted to be. IMIX gives us a new Dawning, that now we’re making a Conscious Choice for something Better. We could make the leap from eccentric to Divine Genius.
To all my relations, may we honor our wild ideas and believe in miracles. Instead of trying to make sense of our thoughts, may we be Conscious of the Voice that speaks to us that isn’t our own. May all the tools we’ve learned to navigate the course to our dream, become habits of second nature, so we no longer think about each step. Without looking back, may we dive in to the flow of Spirit to Know the Unbridled Freedom of Creation.
in lak’ech, i am another you

PS – Someone once said that to be eccentric you have to be rich. When you’re different and you’re poor, you’re just odd. LOL It was the eccentric people in my life that shared the freedom to be.
THE JAGUAR’S MAGIC OF GRATITUDE – I’m grateful for days that are full of bright ideas.

6 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee, Turtle/ DAK’SI I’SB)
Galactic Tone 6: Flow. Six is responsiveness, and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.
Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg. In Mayan is the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth. The beginning of each new era, this star in Orion appears with the rising Sun, heralding the creation of a new World cycle. Cherokee, IMIX- Totem-Dragon. The energy to understand all things sacred; creation energy, connection for visions, to learn the mysteries of the Universal Knowledge. The dragon carries the source energy of life, revered in ancient cultures for power and wisdom.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. UPDATE ON A LIFE DREAM: OCTOBER IS HERE
The reality of the journey has set in with the arrival of October. The jaguar has already begun my journey into the unknown. I’ve already imagined myself before the stairs of El Castillo pyramid making my offering of Sacred Ceremony and the prayers I will share for all of us.
I hadn’t thought much about the possibility of seeing or hearing a Quetzal bird or a Yucatan Spider Monkey. The timing close to November should offer a slight drop from the highest temperatures, and a little more potential for rain.
I’ve already followed a jaguar’s path to Ek’ Balam, imaging a place that might present itself to leave an offering for Ian Lungold. I’ve imagined the connection that could be made there.
I’ve climbed a few steps, resting near the bottom to see how I am capable to accomplish the task if I take it a few steps at a time.
I’ve already looked back from the future, from a dream I once thought could never come true for me.
I can see that a Miracle still lies beyond the Dream. I still can’t imagine what it could be. My Intention is to honor every moment and surprise in the experience as a path that was laid before me as the Divine Justice for a Deeply Held Dream of Consciousness. You have been a part of making my dream come true. much love, in lak’ech, Debra https://www.gofundme.com/life-dream-a-pilgrimage-of-spirit
