MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 3 holds the Intention of Movement. Tone 3 resolves an Intention to follow a Divine idea. What we considered as a Choice on Tone 2 is drawn into clarity by Tone 3. Tone 3 encourages action of movement or a dissemination of the idea.
All movement creates Sound which brings a new vibration to life. The Intention of movement sets a Tone and Frequency. A frequency of vibration is what we feel when we walk in to a room.
El Casitillo, the calendar pyramid at Chichen Itza generates an audible vibration. When you clap your hands in front of the stairs, you hear an echo the Maya related to the chirp of the sacred quetzal bird.
The Maya were sensitive to vibration. Pyramids were built on ley lines that connect a grid around the globe. Thoughts disseminate the energy and vibration of their intention. We sense the inherent vibration of the innocent thoughts of children. Great cathedrals and libraries hold tangible vibrations of their Time and Place, as do all Sacred Sites – and battlefields. A focus of passionate thoughts, establishes influence toward the object of thought. A vibration moves from point A to point B.
Dog/OC lies in the North, holding the Element of Air that disseminates vibrations that influence thoughts. North is the direction of Wisdom. Divine thoughts are “Above” and Human thoughts are “Below.” Divine thoughts from Above hold the Authority over unconscious Human thoughts Below (South). Choosing to magnify Divine Thoughts can change our mind.
Today our movement is guided by Dog/OC, the Day Sign of Unconditional Love. Man’s best friend will lead us out the door with an Intention of Love. The Dog shows us a way to generate the Passionate thoughts of Love that can ripple through the Whole.
The Dog and the Monkey hold an affinity at the center of the Tzolk’in in positions 10 and 11 in every 20-day uinal. Together they reflect the ways that are central to a Divine Creator. 3 Dog/OC guides us to Move on Love. The Monkey holds the Consciousness to Create experiences of Time, using the Spiritual Tool of Love.
Dog/OC is also the totem Wolf. Both are animals that live in a pack. When a wolf brings something back to the pack, it’s been found that wolves can follow the scent all the way back to the beginning. Wherever we go we leave our words and our energy behind. When we move from the heart, we generate a vibration that leads thoughts of Love. By Intention our movement can leave a trail behind.
Like a Jaguar loves Mother Earth, Dog/OC Loves its LIFE on Mother Earth. Dog shows the way we should head out the door. Each day is an opportunity to discover more of the Creator’s Beauty of Love. Dog/OC shows us that the best way to Love the Whole is to Love the Whole of Everything. There’s a Dog in all of us that wants to live that way. We’ve even defined it as “a dog’s life.”
Dog/OC is acknowledged as “man’s best friend.” A Dog is faithful and loyal to the end. The Dog leads our journey back to the Stars. The Maya call the Milky Way “the place the dog ran.” Like a Dog, the Creator’s Unconditional Love is a constant companion we can turn to for the Affection of Unconditional Love.
A Dog Lives with all its heart. Living our own Life to the fullest will generate the Passion of Love. When it seems impossible to Love one or another, it’s never impossible to Love the Whole Creation.
When we engage all our Senses of Love, we will see Love on one scale or another. A Dog is guided by its senses to know where to look. It’s the same with Time. Even when we can’t see Love in the moment, there’s always Love to see when we look at ALL Time.
Life is a Whole Sensory Experience to the Dog. The Dog never misses an opportunity for Love. When Love is not received in return, the Dog leaves the gift in tact for another opportunity in the future. A Dog buries its treasures of Love in Mother Earth or brings them back to the Whole. Following the Dog, we won’t hold a grudge, knowing our Love can still be seen on another day.
The Dog encourages us to have fun. We might see how contrary our Human Nature can be to the way of our Divine Nature. Holding the One and Always dream of Happiness, we go against our Divine Nature that WANTS to have fun. It is only unconscious thoughts drawn from worldly intentions that convinced us that Work and Creation should be hard. Maybe we don’t choose fun, because we’ve been convinced everything we Love will be just as hard. Doing what we Love to do manifests the Most Beautiful Creations. The Dog and the Monkey guide the way to be an Artisan of our Life.
We’re setting out on Dog’s adventure to have our Best Time. We might end up in a little mud, but it will wash off. We might decide we like the smell of it, because it reminds us we’re ALIVE. We can treat our Self like the Dog off the leash given its Freedom To Be. If we get into trouble, we’ll know better next time. Love does cover a multitude of sins.
Air holds Divine thoughts as charged particles of the Creator’s Passion and Fire of Love. Dog/OC can stir the Fire in our Heart from thoughts of Beauty buried in the Treasure of Mother Earth. She has been the Object of Affection for ALL TIME. Dog/OC can change our Mind through every Conscious Breath of Life we take.
Dog leads an Adventure to see the Love that has been for ALL TIME. When we see something Beautiful, we might consider all the Humans that thought the same thing. If we were to whittle our creation from wood, we could imagine all the humans who saw the same opportunity to create something. Yet, in thousands of years, no two of us would ever create the same thing in exactly the same way – even if we tried.
Our Dream will bear no resemblance to another. No one else can ever create our Dream. The brush strokes will be ours alone. It will never be “too late” or “too early.” We are the Only One given Our expression of a Dream.
To all my relations, may we hold an Intention to magnify the Power of Love. May we look for it and carry the thoughts of it wherever we go to Create the Love of OUR LIFE. May we Give thanks for the thoughts of Wisdom that have been magnified and preserved by Sacred Ceremony and the Prayers of our Ancestors.
May we follow what our heart leads us to do. May we give thanks for all the Divine Thoughts that Humans have generated from their hearts down through time. May we give thanks to Mother Earth and Father Sky for saving every one.
May we look for and FEEL the Truth that God has held us by a Provision of Love. May we FEEL the Truth that God Honors prayers of Faith. Faith is Sacred as a Choice of Human Will we make without Seeing or Believing.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. OC-Totem –Dog: Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
