TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 2 symbolizes Duality. From the Unity of 1, we Awakened to the Consciousness of 2. Human’s Identity is marked by the Number 2 – the 2 sides of our Self, the right and left, the Divine and Human Nature, The Body and Ether of our Spirit. Everything human knows is acquired by the comparison of 1 thing to a 2nd thing.
The Reed/BEN trecena was the 1st cycle of a binary set of comprehension and discernment. We were inspired by the “Light” to bring Peace and Harmony to the Family. In the comparison of 1 to another, Serpent/CHICCHAN connected our hearts so that the comparison we would make would not be between 1 human and another. Seeing our Self as One Family, we would compare the Whole 1 to a Divine Family of our Dreams.
On Tone 2 we’re presented with Choices for Creation. We were inspired by the Breath of Life and Spirit, to Live and Be Consciousness of the Experience in the Here and Now. What do we want to Create? And how would we carry it out? On Tone 2 we feel separated, as we find we are standing on our own. We long to be returned as One.
Our challenge on Tone 2 is to Choose for our Self without compromising the Sacred Right of Choice. If we pay attention to our thoughts, we’ll see all the Reasons we might choose to create a New Way. For it to be a Divine Way, it has to lead toward a Divine End that was Divine from the Beginning. It can’t be a path that leads AWAY from anything – but carries on what is already a Blessing of Divine Will. It can’t be a choice of expediency. Our Intention must stand on a Truth from the Beginning, that ALL Time has a Divine Meaning to Be.
Deer/MANIK will guide us to a Divine Choice of Intention. MANIK is the Destiny Kin of the Mayan priest, who’s Mission is to carry out the Rituals and Sacred Ceremonies for the Whole. The Mayan priest counts the days for the Whole.
The glyph symbolizes a nahaul of Vigilant Consciousness. The eye of the Deer is trained on the landscape in all 4 directions. It’s said that the Deer upholds the Pillars of a Divine Creation with 1 foot planted in each of the 4 directions. Hand is another name for MANIK, illustrating the forefinger and thumb grasping a Thread of Ether that completes a circuit of Divine Power.
MANIK symbolizes Human’s Divine Mission to be the Hand of God in the world Below. MANIK leads by attraction, holding the Power of Harmonic Resonance. Emitting the electromagnetic attraction of a Divine Connection to God’s Love, MANIK simply follows its own path and the Love of the Whole is drawn to follow.
MANIK symbolizes Human’s Mission on Earth to follow our own path to an altar. The Reed/BEN trecena inspired our Mission of Light by proving the Power of Love to our Heart. MANIK calls us to take up our own Mission of Light and Vigilant Observation. The Deer is an example of one that is dedicated to a Divine Cause. MANIK leads us to Choose a path that we would follow with Vigilant Consciousness.
MANIK resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. CIMI offered us the Gift of Clairvoyance so we could see our Ending from the Beginning. Holding the Element of Water, the Deer offers ALL the Spiritual Tools of Spirit. Water that holds the Ether of Spirit is used by the priest for Baptisms, Initiations, Blessings, and Purification. Our Heart will guide us to a path that is True, as Deer Pours out the Blessings of Spirit.
MANIK symbolizes the Creator’s Divine Provision for Everything for the Whole. MANIK has the strength to turn from doubts and fears, knowing the One Special Gift of Divine Love that overcomes Every Human limitation. The One Spiritual Tool for Everything is always found at the altar.
The Deer Stands on its own Higher Ground of Truth. It doesn’t have to defend a position it knows is True. The Deer Sees and Acknowledges that we were all given our own Time and Place of Truth and Experience. The Deer doesn’t expect everyone to go the same way. Deer is an example of “going your own way,” and standing on the Truth as you know it today. We don’t all have to be in the same place at the same time to be moving toward the same destination.
The Deer is the Savior of the Whole as a “Way of Light” that guides “All Ways” To Be. The Deer is a living demonstration of one with a Mission of Love and a single-minded Intention to a Divine Cause. 2 Deer/MANIK can guide our Consciousness to an Intention that will stand in the Integrity of our own Truth. MANIK illuminates the Sacred Right of Free Choice, with the Creator’s Blessing to Choose what we Will Be from the Beginning.
The Element of Water connects to our Emotions. We will be drawn to a Divine Intention though the language of the Heart. To follow MANIK’s example, all we have to do is to See Life and Acknowledge the Divine Journey we are on with an application of Vigilant Consciousness. MANIK will make sure we Witness the Miracle.
CIMI’s journey through change begins from a Truth of our own strength to stand on solid ground. Deer will help us Remember to go to the altar. When 1 carries out the Rituals and Lights the Fires of Sacred Ceremony, others will Remember. When 1 kneels others will follow.
To all my relations, may we give thanks for the Deer who have shown the way to stand on the Truth of our own understanding. May we give thanks that we don’t all have to choose the same way to Live in Harmony. We don’t have to compromise what is Dear to us to please someone else. It’s not Selfish to Choose what our Heart Desires when we are Kneeling in Humility before a Divine Power of Love. We can Trust that the Creator will always lead us to a Higher Truth from the Wisdom of Our Time and Experience of Now.
May we give thanks that we aren’t ask to measure up to any example. We can Depend on the Only 1 who knows our Heart and our own Intention of Divine Will. May we Give Thanks that so many Ways can ALL Be Divine Ways.
May we be vigilant to reach for the thread of Light and Know our Hand will be grasped by a Power that won’t let go. May we believe in the Prayer of Divine Will, and the Unconditional Love that promises that ALL Truth will be Known in Divine Time. May we be Humbled to stand on the Truth we know today, and allow it To Be, so we will be Consciousness of the Wisdom we learn from Our experience.
May we leave Our Truth in the Hands of the Creator. May we know that This is the Divine Time and Place To Be Who We Are NOW, and that the Divinity of our Meaning and Purpose will unfold as the Wisdom of our Experience that leads a New Leap of Faith to Believing.
May we begin a Divine Discernment of Choice with a trip to the altar. May we Choose To Be Guided in the Humility of our own Way, kneeling only to a Light Above. May we follow the Light of our Own Truth that by a Miracle from a Hand Above draws All our Human Hearts into the Harmony of Unconditional Love.

2 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
