THE TRECENA OF REED/BEN, A GUIDING LIGHT
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 is a day of Understanding. Tone 12 relates to the faculty of thought that draws disassociated pieces and parts into a new and functioning whole. Like the final chapter, the missing detail reveals the meaning of the whole story. 12 is a symbol of Humanity as the 12 tribes, 12 disciples, and 12 constellations. 12 symbolizes the 1st in the higher place, side-by-side with the 2nd in the lower place.
Tone 12 offers the Wisdom of experience through a Divine Gift of Comprehension. The Whole Truth is moved from the head to the heart.
Seed/KAN is the symbol of Human’s identity that was related to the Corn. The Maya related what they knew about the Corn to Human’s journey through life. They related the two by their same cycle of creation, from a beginning and an end. The Maya were the Masters of Time that tracked the orbits of all heavenly bodies as a completed cycle of their creation of Light. They related the gestation cycle of corn with the cycles of Venus as the Morning and Evening Star. Human’s “orbit” is a cycle drawn from our days of gestation that was our “first orbit” of Creation on Mother Earth.
KAN is a symbol of the “dragon energy” within the Seed that is the Consciousness of Knowing. The dragon symbolizes a leading force propelled by an Illuminated Consciousness. Dragon energy, like the ley lines on Mother Earth, is a Higher Frequency of Vibration that can influence our state of mind. KAN relates to our Sixth Sense of Knowing the very Truth of Who We Are and everything we Need to Survive and Be.
Master Number 44: Today’s Day Sign resides in Position 4, Uinal 4, illustrating the Master Number 44. The Master Number 44 is known as the “Master Healer” and is very rare in numerology. Angel Number 44 resonates with the attributes of support and stability, establishing solid foundations for the self and others, willpower and effort, ability and worthiness, hard work and achieving success, wholeness and inner-wisdom.” The Seed, positioned as the Number 4 Day Sign, symbolizes the Stability of a Divine Design that will Always Be True to what God Intended it To Be from the Beginning to the End.
Seed/KAN resides in the South, holding the Element of Earth. A Seed holds all the Wisdom to carry out an Earthly Meaning and Purpose. A Seed will grow by Divine Design to manifest the harvest planned from its beginning. A Seed doesn’t try to be anything else. Reaching our full potential is the driving force for every Seed planted on Mother Earth.
On 12 Seed/KAN we are given the “dragon energy” to See Clearly, ALL that we were intended To Be is a Design that move us toward a Divine Ending, and all things Multiplied to Abundance. As a Divine Spark of the Creator’s Light we hold the power to carry on forever. Today we can take to Heart a meaning for our Life for ALL Time within the Circle of the Whole.
A Seed grows in starts and pushes as it grasps what is needed. Seed/KAN guides us to make a thorough investigation of our Self. Every Seed needs a certain set of conditions to grow. So do we need to cultivate our own fertile soil and establish our place in the Light.
Those born Seed are said to draw Abundance as easy as casting a net. A Seed moves beyond any obstacles that would hold it back or stand in the way. They are also known to take up a cause on behalf of the whole to free themselves and others from the debts and obligations of the past. Life is the all important mission. Seed/KAN offers a clearing of Karma. Every Seed was given its own life to live with a clean slate from the beginning.
Seed/KAN guides us to say “Yes” to what we need to Grow and “No” to the experiences that divert our attention from a single-minded purpose To Be. Seed offers us the Freedom to Choose. Like a Serpent, the Seed navigates by Feelings. A Seed presses on, knowing a power within will deliver it into the Light. A Seed knows the direction to the Light as the opposite direction of the worldly gravity that holds us down. The Human Seed was given the Power to claim our own Life by making Wise Choices for our own Happiness. We all have the same Sacred Right to Choose.
We have to Feel the darkness to sense the direction toward the light. We have to take a Leap of Faith toward the Unknown and make the journey to the Light that will be Known. Seed/KAN Knows a Divine Reason To Be, and everything contrary to that Truth will be the gravity that holds us down. Truth is our Guiding Light.
Seed knows a Divine Reason for us To Be exactly who we are. As we grow, our leaves may look the same, but within every Human is a unique possibility through the Sacred Right of Choice. The Seed that clears our karma, offers us the Freedom to Choose everything we Love. It only makes sense, that we would be given the Power to choose what raises us to our Highest Potential. We must extend the right to say “no” in harmony and equity with the whole.
Our Heart will guide us by the Intention of Love to make concessions for a Higher Purpose, though we are never meant to compromise our own Truth. Seed/KAN shares the passion to be True to our Self.
The direction of the South relates to our Relationships with one another and the Natural World. Seed/KAN reminds us that the Harmony of the Whole requires each of us to stand on our own. We were each given everything we need to survive. A Light from Above will guide a Divine Way when we make Wise Choices for the Sake of Love.
Consciousness and Comprehension are Divine Spiritual Gifts, COMMON to every Human, DIVINELY given in Harmony and Equity. If we WANT to know, we can figure things out. It’s only worth the time when we LOVE it. We can find a way to Love everything we remember it’s a step to a Dream. We were designed with the Inner Strength to push through the darkness of Unknown Experiences, like saying what we mean and asking for what we want. Not everyone will like it, and we’re bound to do it badly ad the beginning. Wisdom takes Time. We can forgive our self. We’re working with Human limitations. When we hold Dreams of Higher Intention, we can begin a New Life tomorrow, growing in a Wiser direction.
The Key to the Kingdom is Forgiveness. We can never know the Whole Story that applies to someone else’s Truth. Though, we can know, as we learn from our own experience, that everything has a Divine Meaning and purpose on our way to realizing our Dreams. That’s the Truth we reach to claim for our Self. It can only be True for One, if it’s True for the Whole. A Seed doesn’t have any obligations to never meet an obstacle, only to recognize there’s a better way to go.
To all my relations, may we give thanks for the darkness and the soil of Mother Earth that grounds us so we can Stand in the Light. May we make a thorough investigation of our Self… what we like, what we don’t like, and where we are inclined to lean out of balance by compromising what is Important to our Happiness. Why do we do it? What human fear lies behind it. Today we can “see clearly” why we do some things we do, that we never HAD to do… and don’t have to do anymore.
May we realize our own Spiritual Gifts of the Above and Below, our Mind over Matter. If we keep turning to a Guiding Light, we can do what feels hard to do for a Higher Meaning and Purpose. We can make the Human sacrifice for a Divine Cause of Faith that is as Good as Believing. May we share our Gratitude for a Divine Design that would naturally guide us from Hope to Faith, and from Faith to Believing. It’s okay if we fall, when we know we’ve asked for a Divine Provision to get back up again.
May we kneel in Humility to a Creator who Believes in us. May every trial be a our Human Offering so we will Remember that our Blood, Sweat, and Tears are Sacred, Seen and Acknowledged the Same, Above and Below.
in lak’ech, I am another you

12 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
