10 Deer / MANIK – The Light of Truth: Day 10 of 13

THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: LIGHT OF TRUTH

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

10 Deer / MANIK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 10 holds the Intention of Manifestation. Our Hopes or Fears become Real when we claim them as the Truth. We can claim the Truth of a worldly illusion, or we can claim the Truth of Love. To change our Life we must claim a new Perspective.

Deer/MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan priest. The Deer’s way is a path of Vigilant Consciousness. MANIK is a symbol of stability with one foot firmly planted in each of the 4 directions. The glyph illustrates the Hand, another name for MANIK. The forefinger and thumb grasps a thread of Ether, connecting a circuit of Higher Power Above.

Deer/MANIK holds all the Spiritual Tools for the Discernment of Love. To hold Faith where Love is Unseen in the Darkness requires an effort of Vigilant Consciousness. On 10 MANIK we can claim we have all the Spiritual Tools we need for a journey to Higher Ground. When that’s not enough to find our way, MANIK holds the Power to turn away from negativity with One Special Tool – a Power beyond every Human limitation.

In the 7th uinal we see the Truth of Justice and Injustice. We hate to complain when we see the Truth of all our Blessings. Though, seeing the Light and the Dark at the extremes on either scale, it may be harder to see beyond our own Human limits. The only way to hold the Truth of Love is by dedicating our Heart to the Experience a Divine Creator Knows is the Truth.

MANIK resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. The Element of Water relates to the Moon and our Emotions. As a living sacrifice we can claim a Divine Meaning for our tears on behalf of the Whole. Water is the Spiritual Tool used by the Mayan priest for Blessings, Baptisms, Initiations, and Purification.

Deer/MANIK holds the Gift of Harmonic Resonance, a Power of Attraction, through the Light of Love. The Mayan priest guides a way, following its own path to an altar. Counting the days, making offerings, and carrying out the traditions, rituals and prayers, MANIK is a living reminder for others to do the same. A mission of Love generates the vibration of harmony that draws discordant tones into sympathy. The Deer Lights a way of Integrity and Humility.

The Deer guides us to stand silently in our own Truth. There’s no need to defend the Truth that we Believe. The proof of Higher Ground can be seen if there is an Intention to See the Truth. MANIK honors ALL Truth, conscious that the Truth is different in every Time and Place.

We will always See what we are Looking for. There is plenty of darkness to see if we focus on our limitations. There really is a “Murphy’s Law” of science that acknowledges that there are infinitely more ways to fail than there are ways to succeed.  Even well-intended Human Love will never be perfect, especially if we expect to receive what we give. Only a Supreme Creator of Unconditional Love can manifest the Balance of Divine Justice.

Deer/MANIK grasps the Truth of Love from a Source that Never Fails. Dedicating our Life to the path that leads to an altar, we manifest our own way to Remember that Love is always the Meaning and Purpose in the end. MANIK is a demonstration of a dedicated Mission of Faith in the Integrity of its own Truth. The Deer’s Spiritual Tools represent the Provisions of a Divine Creator and Truth that is shared through a Divine Communion of Love. The Deer is said to push away negative influences, holding a Tool for every Human limitation.

We were given the Spiritual Tools of Consciousness to see the Truth in all directions of our Life. We are manifesting the Truth, the Whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth of Flint/ETZNAB. We are completing a Dream of the Truth we would pass on to a New Generation. We were creating the Story of Our Life as Wisdom for a brighter tomorrow. ETZNAB is known for tempting us to act “out of character” to SEE our own Truth that’s hidden and covered up. In the core days, we see the Whole Balance from one extreme of polarity to another.

We are raised up to the top of the Tzolk’in pyramid. This is a time and place to look at the Truth all around. Truth is different in every Time and Place. The Wisdom to Know the Whole Truth is to think once, twice, and again in all directions. We only have to Ask to see the Truth all around. Human’s first impression will always be the hardest facts of a matter. Our second thought will be to imagine how hard it could be. That’s as far as our Dream of possibility will go until we grasp for the Truth of a Divine Provision.

ETZNAB intended us to claim the Truth from one extreme to the other. A new life hangs in the balance for what we claim it will be.  We have to Witness and Feel the Truth to know the Whole of it. The Mission of the Deer is a dedicated path of Vigilant Consciousness. When we are dedicated to an altar, there will always be a Time and Place when we will Remember. We were created with a Spark of Divine Light. Our Last Hope will always turn us back to the Light.

To all my relations, may we claim a Divine Provision. May we give up on Human ways and grasp a thread of Hope for a Divine way. May we offer our whole heart to be led back and forth for the Highest Intentions of Love. May we Feel the Whole Truth on behalf of the Whole and forgive those who can’t bare to face the Truth. May we claim the Light that will always shine the Truth of Love.

in lak’ech, I am another you

10 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.
