6 Eagle / MEN – The Work of Love: Day 6 of 13

THE TRECENA OF DOG/OC: A JOURNEY TO LOVE

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Eagle / MEN

Greetings Kin,

Peak Tone 6 creates the Intention of Flow, manifesting an Unseen Force of Momentum through a Rhythm and Pattern of Movement. Turning back to the thoughts of a Divine Intention to Love, we created a train of thought that keeps Remembering the Choice To Love.

Dynamic developments are possible in the Peak Energies of the trecena, and they begin on Tone 6. Tone 6 is the day a set of “training wheels” come off. We have an open road and suddenly we realize we’re really flying. We don’t have to think about what to do with our hands and feet. We let go and aim our Self in the Direction we want to go.

Eagle/MEN is the nahaul that flies by Intuition, taking off the same way. Eagle/MEN is the Intermediary that lifts us up to the highest proximity to the Creator that  can be reached from the world below. There are no obstacles between Point A and Point B from the Eagle’s perspective. The Prize is within grasp by merely focusing on the “X” that marks a spot.

To fly by Intuition, the Eagle leans in to the Wind. The Eagle guides us to lean in to our Faith and the Truth WE KNOW WE BELIEVE. This is NOT a day to turn our eyes away from a prize, or we’re likely to just fly away. The Eagle can see its prey over 1.8 miles away, and only needs to see a speck of its distinctive color to know exactly which direction to go.

The Eagle guides us to catch a glimpse of our Dream in the Future. We’re Given the Eagle’s Vision to See it. We only have to see a speck to draw it into the realm of “possible” from the “impossible.” All we ever have to do is Remember a Divine Provision BEFORE we Look. The Eagle Looks before it takes off, and that One Look is the “X” it hangs onto to the end. The Eagle takes a Leap of Faith and depends on the Wind of a Promise to catch its wings.

Eagle/MEN resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. The Element of Water touches our Emotions and Raises our Spirit. On 6 Eagle/MEN our Faith is Raised by an Unseen Truth of Divine Agency. Human eyes can’t see the picture, but our Spirit is given a Flash of Hope beyond Human Understanding. That’s ALL we need to see to Mark a Miracle, we could never imagine.

Eagle/MEN encourages our Highest Hopes and Aspirations, with Consciousness of our Human limitations. We could see things a New Way. While we’re sailing along on a Hope and a Prayer, we could push to the limits of our Imagination of how beautiful a Divine End COULD Be. If we REMEMBER our limitations, we could hold Faith that a Divine Creator’s Dream is even Higher than that. All we need to see is a Spark of Light that shines in the darkness, a Star to lead the way.

The Eagle shares its Vision for us to See a Way for our Self. We can see the Truth that we Create the Beauty in our Life. Our Road is a path strewn with Dreams more beautiful than we could ever see from the ground. Yet we can see all around and beyond into the future, at the Beauty of our Dreams.

One day I was looking back upon the experiences of Sacred Ceremony. The Movement carried out by Human is always an investment of “blood, sweat, and tears.” I  imagined such a BEAUTIFUL ceremony of Forgiveness on the Pilgrimage to Ek’ Balam. I had imagined the prayers and cried the tears all along the way. On the day of actually Being There, the climate was so hot and humid I could barely stand up. I learned what it really is to climb a pyramid without even trying. It isn’t until the “Human Work” is over that the Heart can Feel the Truth of the experience in Spirit. The Work comes first. The Miracles are SEEN After.

Our Lives become an allegory of the Truth of Love, just as Mother Earth is a dynamic illustration of the Creator’s Perpetual Love, a FORCE of Movement in the Universe that has been going on since the beginning of Time. Human Beings don’t have to Push Love to make it go. The Power in the Mirror Reflection Above, is to LET GO.

In a Last Prayer, Jesus said, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” Human’s Highest Aspiration is to admit the Truth. We don’t know what we’re doing. For all our Grand Human Plans, the moment we turn to Human Reasons to figure things out, we lose the Wind beneath our wings.

To all my relations, a Way and a Reason can Manifest a Divine Trinity. May we apply our Love to the Highest Cause we can imagine to Flow with the Momentum of the Power of the Holy, Holy, Holy. May we accept that a glimpse may be all we can See.

May we accept the Creator’s Design for all things in the Balance. Our Life is Intended to be a Creation Above and Below. Our Highest Aspiration may be living in another realm of Being. Mother Earth was given as the Place for the Living. Look back at the Spiritual Experiences of your Life. I realized the most beautiful memories of my life were Sacred Ceremonies. I DID create Realities and Memories that Express everything I ever wanted out of Life. If those were the stories I remembered as the journey of my life, without having to think about it, it could feel like the training wheels came off and looking back to see that someone let go.

May we claim the Moment and mark it with an “X” – like the prize is too beautiful to imagine. May we Fly by Faith that, like a “kite on a string” a Divine Wind Holds us and carries us to the end. May we turn away from what a Human Being thinks it sees, and Believe in the “tie that binds” and the Promises Spoken in the Wind. May we count our Blessings ALL THE WAY.

in lak’ech, I am another you

THE LONG DANCE: One of the Sacred Ceremonies of the Medicine Wheel Tradition is the Long Dance. It began with a purification of a Sweat Lodge ceremony. The Dance would be carried out around the center pole of the dance arbor. We would dance clockwise until midnight, then turn around for the rest of the way. I remember starting the dance at 7pm and I couldn’t fathom how this would continue to midnight. In the Sun/Moon Dance, we moved back and forth to the center pole from the parameter to the beat of a Drum. We never knew when it would end or begin again, but at least we had time to rest. Though, that was a 4-day ceremony and the Long Dance is all one night. We danced from 7PM to after 2AM when we “fell apart” from a Divine State of Mind into Human laughter and exhaustion. As we walked away from the arbor toward the celebration feast, someone said, “Let’s have another Long Dance!” And we all cheered, ‘Yes!”

Looking back, I think I forgot what I was doing about 8PM, because it WAS going to be a Long Dance to Midnight. That was my highest hope in the beginning, just to turn around. We’re bearing the Fruit of our Spirit to share with a Divine Mother what she taught us how to do. May we join in the LONG DANCE and see the Light of Divine Justice that will ALWAYS BE for a Human Being and a Divine Being who are aligned by a Way and a Reason that Intends a Creation of the Harmony and Equity of Love.

May we keep our Eagle Eyes fixed on the Prize, and never look away from the end. By DIVINE PROVISION, JUSTICE is waiting within our grasp. By the Great Law of Creation, “As Above, So Below,” we can carry out our own Sacred Ceremony in any realm of Consciousness. Though, may we make a Sound in the Universe in Harmony with the Creator’s Breath.

Beginning in January, hundreds of Bald Eagles migrate along the Skagit River in the Northern Cascades of Washington State.

6 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
