VISION QUEST: CREATING A LIFE IN SPIRIT

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Tone 2 represents the Intention of Duality. 2 represents the perspective of the Being of Duality in the “lower place” of the 12, the symbol of Human that searches to find a way to hold Faith in a Dream that was offered from the “One Above.” 

We are beginning Human’s side of the Divine Conversation in response to the Creator’s Divine Inspiration for a Future. Eagle/MEN represents our Highest Hopes and our Highest Aspirations. Residing in the West, where the Sun sets, we face our Unknown Future. At every beginning it feels “impossible” to know how the story will end.

It is “impossible” to see the future, when our eyes are fixed on the past. The Eagle’s Element of Water relates to our emotions and the Truth that speaks through the Heart. In the darkness of the Unknown, it’s easy to look back to Dreams we held before. We may have thought the future was guaranteed, but all we can Remember now is a Dream that never reached its end. We express Human’s fear of not-knowing. How will this time be any different from the Dreams we lost before? 

Tone 2 is the 2nd thought of every day, after Tone 1 when we wake to see the Light of Day that offers a brand new beginning. The Serpent guides Human’s way to reach the end. We’re guided forward, by thoughts that turn back and forth from the darkness to the Light.

We have to see the past clearly to know every higher way. There’s more than one way to see it. Beyond Human’s first thought of “impossible” is the Faith we were given to believe in a Power greater than our self. The faith to believe is written in our Human DNA for a Divine Reason. Every season holds a lifetime of experience. Every Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring manifests a story of its own. Our memories are framed by the Seasons on Mother Earth. We can’t look back to what happened before without remembering the weather. We never look back to the darkest season without remembering the hopes and dreams of the holiday celebrations when we were holding the Highest Hopes and Aspirations for the new Light of Spring.

The Seed of a New Life is still making its way to the Light of Day. After a long-cold winter, we can be weary of the time it takes and begin to wonder if we’ll ever reach the end. Even while the Light has turned around, it still takes time to reach the place of Knowing. The Eagle shares the way to set our eyes on the future. The Eagle doesn’t have to see every detail to spot its prey in the distance. It only takes a speck of a distinctive color of fur to zero in on the coordinates. We don’t have to see the future to know the end, when we are holding Faith that the Higher One that shared the Dream knows the way. All our human dreams for the future fall short of the Creator’s plan. It’s better when we don’t define the end from our own perspective, or we’d set a course to a dream that’s lower than the one Known by the One Above. The best way to reach our highest end is to focus on the “X” that marks the spot.

 

Faith was a gift to see the Unknown Future from the perspective of the Higher One. We can’t see the Truth clearly, when we’re only focused on the “lost Dreams” of the past. Our eyes are veiled by our doubts and fears. The Truth is, that was another life we lived before. This is a new Time and a Divine Season given to remember how we rise to a new occasion with every Spring, and we Do always reach a Higher End of Hopes and Dreams by the time every season is through. 

In the Year 12 Road/EB (aka Human’s road) we can remember the Aztec tradition and the Sign of the Grass (Mallinali). Whenever we feel downtrodden, when it looks like the world is holding us down, a Time always comes for us to rise again. Mallinali relates to Human’s perennial Spirit that was written in our Seed. Remember, the Aztec call this an auspicious time for the oppressed, and a very inauspicious time for the oppressor. By the Chinese calendar, the Year of the Rabbit is a very lucky time to manifest the Truth of our Heart’s Desire. By all signs we were meant to see our future is  bright. The Eagle holds the Vision and the Focus if we make the Choice to See. To reach our Highest Dreams always takes a whole investment of our Heart and Faith to see us through.

We can remember that every vision will be distorted by our doubts and fears. We’ve seen the Truth before. 

Looking a long way back I remember one of the darkest years in my past, 40 years ago in 1982. A family was broken apart. I was diagnosed with cancer. The first visitor to my hospital room said, “when you get cancer one place, chances are you’ll get it again somewhere else.” I lost my job shortly after I returned to work 3 weeks later. It was hard enough just to get the groceries I was able to carry in and fit into the cart with two children, ages 2 and 4. The only way to make ends meet was to file bankruptcy. I was lost in fear for the future. Alcohol was the only means to forget and pretend that everything could still be okay. I remember the relief when I finally recovered from the surgery. I didn’t realize how heavy all the doubts weighed on my mind until it was over. After 3 months on unemployment, I found a better job with long-range possibilities. I found AA, new friends, and the means for recovery. I did reach the end of a Dream to have a home and raise a family. Cancer never returned and I’m still in excellent health at 72.

Fracturing my pelvic bone in February was a blessing in disguise. My doctor gave me a clean bill of health last Friday and yesterday I made my first trip to the store without a cane. It’s the beginning of a new miracle now as it was then. I’ll never forget how lucky I am to stand and walk on my own two feet. 

This life isn’t over. It’s just the beginning of a new season. And, we will all rise again. It’s written in the Seed. No one can hold us down. Sometimes the best thing we can hear is “you can’t.” That’s when the perennial nature in our seed says, “Oh, yeah? Just wait and see.” 

The Eagle shares the Vision to know that everything it can see lies within its grasp. The Eagle holds the power of an Intermediary as the one that flies in the closest proximity to the One Above. Eagle/MEN holds position 15 (3 x 5). Number 5 is a symbol of Empowerment and today the 15 shares the Xponential Power of a Choice to hold Faith in the One Above.

We are never defined by the past, only by the Hope we hold in the future. Faith is a Choice we can make to never look back at our failures, but to Remember that the Truth that we’re still Alive is all the proof we need to know we will Rise Again.

A Divine Creator holds the Authority over our last breath. If we’re still breathing, there’s still a Divine Meaning and purpose for our Life that the Creator Knows is guaranteed. We were given a Dream for the future from Above. That’s all we need to see and that’s reason enough to rise every morning to the experience that IS leading us to our Highest End.

On Tone 3 we’ll be set free by a Divine Reason to move in the Here and Now. Wait and see if tomorrow doesn’t share the Light of a new way. From my own experience, on Tone 3 all the questions are resolved by “something I have to do right now.” It may have nothing to do with what I was trying to figure out. But, it’s always the next thing that comes first.

The Highest Next thing that could come first is the Time we take to call on a Vision from Above. On Tone 2 it’s always hard to get anything done in the world below. We’re too preoccupied by Time that came before to clearly see the Time that lies ahead. We make up for it on Tone 3 when a Divine Creator answers our prayers and draws us into a state of mind and Spirit in Divine Trinity.

We may not see the future in plain sight, yet. By the Law of Cause and Effect, we can’t make the whole investment to Know without reaching Higher Ground. Dreams do come true. This is another Season and a New Life, and just like before, we’ll live to see the end of a Divine Future that the Creator sees from Above. The future lies in our hand in the Choice to follow the way of Faith that is written within.

The beginning is a good place to start a dedicated daily practice to record the Truth of your daily experience. At least you’ll question the coincidence to see the Truth of Divine Synchronicity, when it happens the 3rd time – and you KNOW Time had a meaning and you were exactly where you were supposed to be.  I’ve forgotten all about miracles that happened before, until I see them happen again. That’s when you see that YOUR story was already written before you were even born.

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
