2 Eagle / MEN – A Vision Quest, Day 2 of 13

VISION QUEST: An Invisible Journey of Spirit

Greetings Beloved Kin,

2 Eagle / MEN

Tone 2 represents the Intention of Duality. 2 represents the perspective of the Being of Duality in the “lower place” of the 12, the symbol of Human that searches to find a way to hold Faith in a Dream that was offered from the “One Above.”

We are beginning Human’s side of the Divine Conversation in response to the Creator’s Divine Inspiration for a Future. Eagle/MEN represents our Highest Hopes and our Highest Aspirations. Residing in the West, where the Sun sets, we face our Unknown Future. At every beginning it feels “impossible” to know how the story will end.

“To be, or not to be.” That is the question. ~ William Shakespeare

It is “impossible” to see the future, when our eyes are fixed on the past. The Eagle’s Element of Water relates to our emotions and the Truth that speaks through the Heart. In the darkness of the Unknown, it’s easy to look back to Dreams we held before. We may have thought the future was guaranteed, but all we can Remember now is a Dream that never reached its end. We express Human’s fear of not-knowing. How will this time be any different from the Dreams we lost before?

Faith is a CHOICE. When we stand on Faith, a Divine Creator will manifest our highest end.

Tone 2 is the 2nd thought of every day. Tone 1 is the first light in Unity to imagine a brand new beginning. Tone 2 represents Human’s perspective of Duality.  We turn to the past to compare the limits of yesterday. From a mind of reason, we question our power to reach a higher end. We face the power to choose, “to be or not to be.”

The Eagle sets our eyes on the future. The Eagle doesn’t have to see every detail to spot its prey in the distance. It only takes a speck of a distinctive color of fur to zero in on the coordinates. We don’t have to see the future to know the end when we are holding Faith in the Truth we Know of a Power Greater than our Self. The Eagle flies by Intuition, leaning in to the Word of Truth that is the Wind beneath our wings.

It’s best to focus on the “X” that marks the spot. If we define the Dream from Human’s mind of reason, we’ll only project the end we can see. We can get fixed on the way we think things should look and how things should go. We leave all the options open for Faith to stand on what a Divine Creator would choose.

Our Human Dreams will only carry us as far as the limits of our doubts and fears. No Human can tell us who we are or define our future.  Our Identity was formed by the Creator’s Hand. Our highest end is guaranteed through the intention of Love and Forgiveness in Divine Trinity.

In the Year 12 Road/EB (aka Human’s road) the Time ordered for Human to comprehend the Power to Rise Again. By all signs we were meant to see our future is  bright. The Eagle holds the Vision and the Focus if we make the Choice to See. To reach our Highest Dreams always takes a whole investment of our Heart and Faith to see us through.

Sometimes blessings come in disguise. Our greatest challenge can be turned to our Greatest Blessing. We can Choose to see it that way.

We are never defined by the past, only by the Hope we hold in the future. Faith is a Choice to see the past as lessons we learned through every failure. We lived and we learned to fly by our own Intuition and to stand on our own two feet.

If we’re still breathing, there’s still a Divine Meaning and purpose for our Life. A Divine Creator is the Authority over our last breath. If we can’t see a Divine End, it isn’t over yet. A Divine Creator can restore our Highest Hopes and Aspirations and draw us into the state of mind and Spirit of Divine Trinity.

Through an Intention of Faith, the Creator will speak to our Heart and share the strength to carry us through every storm.

If God Is for Us, Who Can Be Against Us? (Romans 8:31)

THE JAGUAR’S “EARTH MAGIC” OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful that when we call on the Highest One, we will always know the Answer when it’s Time to Know.

Sirius is the Sun of our Spirit that, like the Dog, always leads the way back to the Brightest Light at the Heart of the Milky Way.

It is said that Human can reach enlightenment in 108 breaths. 108 is the product of 12 x 9.

In yoga, the number 108 refers to spiritual completion. Malas used for japa (silent repetition of a mantra) are composed of 108 beads – with an additional “meru” bead, which when reached, prompts the practitioner to count the mala beads in reverse order. (Source: Himalayan Yoga Institute)

Renowned mathematicians of Vedic culture viewed 108 as a number of the wholeness of existence. This number also connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth: The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters. (Source: YogaJournal)

THE TRECENA OF JAGUAR/IX: A VISION QUEST OF SPIRIT TO LIGHT A DIVINE WAY

The Highlights, Peak Energies, and Times of Synchronicity for this trecena are included on the  13-Day Trecena Guide.

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.

Crocodile/IMIX is the first trecena in the first season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. The guide includes the overview for each trecena and the aspects for every day, so you can discern the Meaning of Time as it applies to your own Time and Place. It’s interesting to calculate the major dates in your life. You might discover they happened on the same Tzolk’in date. The calendar is written within. The Order is what we are naturally inclined to do. When you keep a daily journal to track your thoughts, you’ll see history repeat itself when the same matters are on your mind on the same day of every Tzolk’in round, only on a higher scale. One time around I overcame a fear of driving through Seattle rush-hour traffic. The next time, I was overcoming my fear to make a solo pilgrimage to the Mayan ruins of Ek’ Balam.

Also see Daykeeper Resources for calculators and calendar links, and the Spiritual Tools page for ways to add to cause for a higher effect.

2 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI) – Day 2 of 13 of the 1 Jaguar/IX trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

A GOOD DAY TO: Rise to a Higher Perspective

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. Links to sources and other resources of study are offered on the Daykeeper Resources Page. ~Debra]
