SPACEWEATHER: Sunspot AR3590 Nearly Doubles as it Moves into the Danger Zone

History Repeating Itself?

Greeting Beloved Kin,

If you have a pair of eclipse glasses, you can see Sunspot AR3590 with the “naked eye.” Direct facing sunspots don’t pose the greatest risk. Due to the whirlwind current from the Sun’s rotation, the Solar Flares on the Eastern edge send their payload directly to Earth.

BIG SUNSPOT GETS EVEN BIGGER: Giant sunspot AR3590 spent the weekend getting bigger. This two-day movie from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory shows its area increasing by a quarter in only 48 hours:

AR3590 is now the largest sunspot of Solar Cycle 25. For comparison, it is now 60% as large (by surface area) as the great sunspot that caused the Carrington Event in Sept. 1859. Even a 60%-intensity Carrington Event occurring today could cause problems for satellites, power grids, and internet connectivity. That’s why forecasters are carefully watching this sunspot.

Last week, AR3590 unleashed three X-flares in rapid succession, including the strongest flare of the current solar cycle (X6.3) . Since then the sunspot has been relatively quiet, producing only a handful of low-level M-class explosions. Is it gathering itself for another X-flare? If so, the flare will be geoeffective as AR3590 is almost directly facing Earth.

Carrington Event in September 1, 1859

The Carrington Event was the most intense geomagnetic storm in recorded history, peaking from 1 to 2 September 1859 during solar cycle 10. It created strong auroral displays that were reported globally and caused sparking and even fires in multiple telegraph stations. (Wikipedia: Carrington Event)

The flare was a major coronal mass ejection (CME), a burst of magnetized plasma from the sun’s upper atmosphere, the corona. In 17.6 hours, the CME traversed over 90 million miles (150 million km) between the sun and Earth and unleashed its force on our planet. According to NASA spaceflight, it usually takes CMEs multiple days to reach Earth.

Synchronicity of Time

September 1, 1859 was 1 Transformer/CIMI on the Tzolk’in calendar… the Sign of a Major Life Change. 1 CIMI guided the last trecena. Looking back to news of the times of the biggest Solar Maximum, you can see the Signs of MAJOR Change. Is history repeating itself?

Ian Lungold defines CIMI as a good day to tie up loose ends. Like the Year of the Dragon, it’s best to be prepared for everything happening early, when it felt like time was going on forever. Maybe CIMI came early this year to give us an early forecast of the future. Imagine the possibility of Knowing Now, what they couldn’t see was about to happen before. It’s good to see that Joshua Abraham Norton is a name that’s been long forgotten. At least I never heard of him before. 🙂

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

TRECENA OF STORM/CAUAC: A BLESSING OF LIVING WATER
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

KAN/UKTE’NA: THE DRAGON
The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”.

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.

6 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA) – Day 6 of 13 of the 1 Storm/CAUAC Trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

A GOOD DAY TO: Plant, make new contacts, and reconnect with others.

Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”.  Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy,” pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
