THE TRECENA OF ROAD/EB: A Sacred Journey of Time
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
1 Road/EB (Human), Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA, Destiny Kin 92
March 5, 2024 (03/05/2024)
Greetings Beloved Kin,

1 Road / EB
1 Road/EB is the symbol of Human and the Road to our Destiny. Our Destiny is a Journey through Time. We were created to be the Witness of Creation from a beginning to an end. All living things have a path of migration written within that guides their Intentions for every Season. We are the HIghest Creation, given the Consciousness to know the meaning of the Light.
The Tzolk’in is Human’s calendar written within. The Tones are the intentions and thoughts in a Divine Order that will manifest the Creator’s Choice. The Tones are Common Human thoughts within any cycle that has a beginning and an end. The glyph illustrates the Road on Human’s Head. The Road to our most Divine End is Human’s Choice. The Creator’s End of Love has to be a choice. We can’t be forced to Love.
On either side of the Road are the Milestones, Times we are Conscious of the Truth. We Know through the experience of Synchronicity that we are exactly where we are meant to be. If that’s the Truth, then every moment before led us to the place. If that’s the Truth, Today has a Divine Meaning for tomorrow.
Road/EB aka Human is a Day to Honor Humanity and the “hard road” of Earth. One Road/EB our Collective Consciousness is turned to the Road we share. EB reveals a Truth on a global scale of consciousness. Like the milestone, the Truth leaves a mark. We may all witness the same thing, but that doesn’t mean we’ll all see it the same way. The first way we see anything is from Human’s perspective of objective consciousness, “what is it?” Then the thoughts move on to our imagination, “what does it mean?”
Through the Wisdom of every Human orbit of 260-days, we Know from a Higher State of Consciousness that the 3rd question should come first, “what is the Creator’s Divine Meaning for everything?” If we begin every day with Love as our Highest Purpose from the beginning, we’ll always reach our Highest End.
The Divine Truth is always Common Sense we already know. That’s how we Know the Truth, it always makes sense. We never expect a “good outcome” when we begin without an Intention of Love and Understanding. When our Intention is to “see evil,” evil is what we will see and it’s “signs” will be magnified by every repetition.
We are Sacred to the Creator for the Time it takes to learn the Meaning of Life. As a whole, we’re still searching for the hard and fast answers from the beginning. The pursuit is no less beautiful for those who love to explore the Universe. Though the “Meaning of Life” is the Truth that’s right in front of our face.
One journey we share is never knowing how we’ll reach the end. We can’t imagine what our Highest End could be. And, we’ve hold a shadow of a doubt that we don’t know what we’re doing. There’s a logical reason for this. We’re all finding our own different way from a different Time and Place. The Day signs reflect the Divine Perspectives from our different points of view, in a circle of Life that is Guided by the Light at the Center.
The Truth in broad daylight is the opposite on the other side of Earth. Our first perspective of Life was imprinted on the Day we were born. (Those born at Solar Maximum, are bound to be affected, when they are born to this energy with the perception of “normal” as the beginning of their brand new experience.) It matters how we begin, and the path we’ve taken is the Reason why we see things the way we do.
Road/EB is the symbol of Humanity as the all-in-one, As Above, So Below. Only, our challenge is to know we’re more than flesh. The Creator’s tie that binds us to Spirit is the “lightning in our blood.”
CYCLE OF DARKNESS: (Yellow and White Day Signs)
Road/EB marks a cycle of Healing in a “Dark” cycle – into the Experience of the Unknown. We comprehend the Truth through Duality, a binary process of “Light” (the Inspiration of the Truth), and “Dark” (our own Experience of the Truth). Every experience is worthy to share with the Light at the Center of our Lives, who completes every Creation in its perfect balance.
That means we’re going to realize the Truth in a tangible way – as an experience we comprehend as “Real” in the realm of physicality. Residing in the South, the down below, we learn the Truth through our Relationships with one another and with the Natural World. A Divine Creator made it so that we could always see the Beauty of Love in every direction, if we “had a mind” to look to see it.
HOLY OBSERVANCE: GLOBAL BURNER DAY, MARCH 8, 2024
March 8, 2024 is 4 Eagle/MEN, which marks the center of the 2nd Season. The Global Burners at the center of every season are Times for a Major Release of Energy. The Meaning and Purpose is clearing of residual energies, unresolved loose ends from the past that no longer serve a purpose for the future. When I was recovering from a pelvic fracture, I had to learn “up good, down bad” to get up and down the stairs. It amounts to bearing the greatest weigh on the “good foot.” I don’t have to think about it anymore, since one foot is as good as another. There’s a crutch we’ve been leaning on that we can throw away. (This would be a worthy day for the Sun to reach its Solar Maximum or flip it’s poles. Remember, we won’t know Maximum until about 3 months after it’s over, by the necessity of seeing the trends at the center of six months of recorded activity. March 8, 2024 also marks the Conjunctions of the Moon, Mars, and Venus, a “perfect storm” of passions, under Venus’s Sign of Divine Timing.)
All Global Burner Days are ordered by Tone 4, the Intention for Stability. 4 Eagle/MEN offers Stability through a Higher Perspective to See our Future. The Past can be cleared away by the Light of a Divine Offering of the Creator’s End.
Global Burner Days are Observed by the Sacred Fire Ceremony, carried out by the Mayan priest on behalf of the Whole. The Intention is to draw the Community together again in Right Relationship. When the smell of copal and smoke of the prayers fills the Air, the Community is drawn to follow in agreement and Divine Trinity. The tradition carries on today. When we light a fire and offer our prayers, our smoke rises with the whole.
THE 5TH AND 6TH UINAL
9 Sun/AHAU “completes” the 5th uinal of Empowerment. (Sun/AHAU completes every uinal.) Tone 9 is the Divine Sign repeated as the symbol of a “creation that’s finished.” The Road/EB trecena is completing the steps to walk in perfect balance. In the 6th uinal the rhythm and pattern of movement creates the momentum to “run, not walk” toward a Destination that was Higher than we imagined before. 9 Sun/AHAU is Destiny Kin 100, a symbol of a Power of 10 x 10. 10 x 10 could leave a Mark that aims us toward our Divine Destiny in the Year of 8, the Divine Justice of Life and Abundance to Infinity.
GUARDIAN OF THE TRECENA
The Last day of every 13-day cycle is the Guardian of the end promised from the beginning. 13 Seed/KAN is the Divine End of Answering the Prayer that is written in the Heart of the Seed. Our Highest End is knowing the Dream of our Heart’s Desire was written in the Center of the Divine Plan for Our Life. We’ll Know we HAVE to claim it as the One Dream we loved so much, we could never forget.

There may be many milestones in a 13-day cycle of Road/EB. If we’ve chosen the High Road as our Way, we’ll follow the winding road of a Snake that turns back and forth to move forward, directly to an end that could ALWAYS be.
As Above, So Below. It seems we’ve been waiting all our life to know something that can turn the world around. A Divine Creator has been waiting too, for us to make the Only Choice that guarantees the Highest End for Humanity… the Choice to Love, to Understand, and to Forgive, so we can “clearly see” the Creation from a Divine Point of View.
The Time is ordered to take the scenic route, and to stop and smell the flowers on the way. “Scenic routes” are always an exploration of Unknown Territory. If we traveled the same Road every day, the Beauty would be lost in the background.
MASTER NUMBERS 12:12:12
The symbol 12:12:12 applies to every day of the Road/EB trecena in the Haab Year 12 Road/EB. 12 is Human’s number, so EB is a 12. The Intention of 12 is Understanding. The meaning of the Year is for Human to Rise Again. The Aztec sign is The Grass, a symbol of the Perennial Nature of our Spirit, written in the Seed. Others may see us as trampled down like a lost cause, but according to the Aztec, fate is on the side of the Oppressed, and consequences of the Truth are guaranteed for the Oppressor.
The Tzolk’in week falls in synchronicity with the Haab year to reflect the Symbol 12:12. Number 12 is the symbol of Human (12 tribes, 12 disciples, 12 constellations). The Power of a symbol is magnified by repetition. That’s a lot of Human symbols, with Road/EB as another 12:12. It must be a sign of the perfect time to be our self and express who we are.
The Cherokee Day Sign is the Rattlesnake Tooth, and implement used by the priest or shaman to break the skin where the healing medicine would be applied. It left the mark. We all need a Date that marks a beginning, we won’t forget. There’s a different date for each one of us somewhere in the Road/EB journey. It takes a Spiritual Experience to turn our life around. We think we know what it should feel like. Every healing hurts at first, but the freedom that comes through a Recovery by the Truth, is the Passion to Run to the Light.
The Road/EB trecena is Time to honor the whole of us for the burdens of Time it takes to Choose to Ask and to Receive. Remember, every Human is doing the best they can by the Wisdom of their own experience. They may be doing really good at one thing, while we’re a total failure at something else. It always depends on what we look to see. May we bless the Whole in the Spirit of Namaste, for the Miracle written within. May we pray for the last to know.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
O Lord, you have taught us that without love whatever we do is worth nothing: Send your Holy Spirit and pour into our hearts your greatest gift, which is love, the true bond of peace and of all virtue, without which whoever lives is accounted dead before you.
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN

1 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA) – Day 1 of 13 of the 1 Road/EB Trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
A GOOD DAY TO: Do some community service.
Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer. Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
Teaching by Sam Valenti on the Cherokee Day Signs – (Two resources available on the Daykeeper Resources Page)
Rattlesnake Tooth in the Sky is the Rainbow. It is a brilliant display of the Sun ray’s in seven colors, violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Day and Night, Sun and Moon, Physical and Spiritual join in a glorious display of the Heavens. To project this image requires raindrops, water, the great healer of all life.
Rattlesnake Tooth is the natal day sign of Medicine Men and Medicine Women, Priests, Healers, and Sorcerers. Drums, rattles, beads to predict the future of the person, a terrapin shell to hold the herbs for healing and transformation of consciousness. In society they heal rifts and settle differences between individuals and Nations. Health issues often arise during these times which they are well equipped to attend to. Nurturing and healing events occur in response to the stresses. Their behavior is influenced by conflicting social needs. These people have an interest in the deep dark recesses of the world and in the psyches of people. A rattlesnake tooth prepared with proper prayers was used to scratch a person’s skin before applying the herbal remedy.
This type tends to be practical, careful, relaxed, courteous, and helpful. They are pleasant people who enjoy good company and relate best to others casually. They expect nothing in return for their generous and giving ways. Relationships are the centerpiece of their lives, and they are known to make sacrifices for others. They are ambitious, hard working, and intensely practical, allowing them to be good problem solvers. They do good work. They prefer cooperation but will compete in a friendly way with others when required. They prefer peace to conflict and can on occasion be lazy. They often appear easy going and compromising sometimes leading to deep hurts and hidden feelings. However, they are not easily influenced by the opinions of others. They strive to be independent, and are often found among designers and engineers. They are very sensitive and can be emotionally fragile. They can be emotionally fragile and can easily be hurt by rejection and criticism. They can hold onto feelings of anger and resentment and often turn to hard work as a means of constructively ventilating those feelings. Although slow to get going they are very persistent. In general this is a constructive day sign that seeks peace with the world. Still water runs deep. This Sign is courteous, slow to anger, a stoic individual with a serene manner. This person has the tender heart of a flower . As Priests they have a direct line of communication linking the People and The Great Spirit. The Cherokee word for the Rattlesnake is utsanati (he has a bell) on the end of his tail. A state of being out of balance is thought of as dis-ease. Bringing back the balance of the human spirit with The Great Spirit is healing. As receptacles to receive the vibrations of the Universe they are the Guardians of the Way of Life, Death, and Rebirth.
