The Holy Day of Light: The Consciousness of Being

Greetings Beloved Kin,

The Mayan order of Time marks this day for a Celebration of Light. Without the Consciousness of Being our life is no more than a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow. Consciousness is the Light to See Forever.

 

The Solar Eclipse tomorrow is a Sign for today for the Creator to “finish” the Creation we started for an Intention to Love. It’s beyond Human’s power to complete the end as a Perfect Reflection of the Light Above. We can’t imagine the Love that covers every Human limitation for All Time. We can only Know by a Divine Illumination of the Truth from the Source of the Light, the Truth from the beginning to the end.

We hold enough Truth to stand in Faith of the Creator’s Word. The Creator’s Truth is shared by a Feeling of Knowing as an involuntary Human Response to the Light of our Salvation – Life, Love, and Happiness in Abundance to infinity.

We are prepared for a New Light of the Son. What shall pass away will be gone forever. We are tested by the Zenithal Hour of Light to know the True condition of our Heart.

I was tested in a similar way on the Pilgrimage to Ek’ Balam. The Purpose of being there was a Sacred Ceremony to honor the Mayan birthday of Ian Xel Lungold, who’s Mayan birthday fell in synchronicity with the Day of the Dead. His birthday fell 13 years after his passing on October 31, 2018. The “wild idea” began as a vacation, until  I looked to the Tzolk’in date to see the synchronicity of the Time. Ian’s birthday was the Sign that “I had to go.” The reason was greater than all my fears, and the Source of Faith to carry out the end of a solo journey to an unfamiliar destination, knowing very little of the local language. One of my biggest fears was how I would get from the airport to the hotel on my own.

Ek’ Balam is said to be the destination for an initiation that is an Illumination of Darkness. The name Ek’ Balam translates to the “Black Star Jaguar” ruins. I thought that meant Darkness would be swept away, and it was, but only after the Illumination of Darkness within. Following the trails through the jungle, 3 of us walking together came upon a HUGE Iguana about 3 feet from the path. I raised my camera to take a picture and noticed a major wound in its hind end. I was re-adjusting the camera so it wouldn’t be included in the picture, when someone said that it looked like the Iguana was going through it’s final transition. I stopped in my tracks and lowered the camera for the dishonoring of this important Time of Life. As I did, the first movement of the Iguana was to turn its head and look directly into my eyes. Here I was for a Divine Purpose in a place where the air was so thick, you could FEEL the vibrations of every living thing… in total ignorance of a Holy Transition. That was the moment I had the vision of the Black Jaguar over my right shoulder, as if it was waiting to see what I would do.

The Hopi called the Solar Eclipse the “Death of the Sun.” This Time is just as Holy. We were never intended to see a Sun that wasn’t there for us in every hour of the day. We can turn our eyes away and let others take the pictures of Life without the Sun.

We hold the Consciousness to Be One in Prayer and Song for the Promise of a Bright Tomorrow. We can Honor Grandfather Sun, and prepare to Celebrate the Return as the Light of the Son. The tradition of the indigenous elders is to fast, pray, beat the drums, and sing through the Darkness. This Solar Eclipse has arrived with Signs and Wonders that won’t be seen again in synchronicity for decades.

Below is the Map that shows the times in destinations that fall along the path of totality. May we draw within to our Sanctuary where the Light shines forever. May we focus on the Light instead of the appearance of Darkness, no matter how beautiful it may appear to be.

The Darkness begins its land-fall in the Zenith Hour, 12:20 PM (Central Standard Time), and finishes its crossing at 4:35 PM (Atlantic Daylight Time). 

The closer you are to the center of that path, the longer totality, the maximum point of the eclipse, will last. The whole event will take about two and a half hours, but totality will only last about four minutes. 

The longest totality will extend for four minutes and 28 seconds on a 350-mile-long swath near the centerline of the eclipse, including west of Torreón, Mexico, according to NASA. In the U.S., some areas of Texas will catch nearly equally long total eclipses.

The eclipse can cause a “360-degree sunset”
A solar eclipse can cause a sunset-like glow in every direction—called a “360-degree sunset”—which you might notice during the 2024 eclipse, NASA said. The effect is caused by light from the sun in areas outside of the path of totality and only lasts as long as totality.

The temperature will drop
When the sun is blocked out, the temperature drops noticeably. During the last total solar eclipse in the U.S. in 2017, the National Weather Service recorded that temperature dropped as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit. In Carbondale, Ill. for example, the temperature dropped from a peak of 90 degrees Fahrenheit just before totality to 84 degrees during totality.

Wildlife may act differently
When the sky suddenly becomes black as though nighttime, confused “animals, dogs, cats, birds do act very differently,” Gianforte says.

In the 2017 eclipse, scientists tracked that many flying creatures began returning to the ground or other perches up to 50 minutes before totality. Seeking shelter is a natural response to a storm or weather conditions that can prove deadly for small flying creatures, the report said. Then right before totality, a group of flying creatures changed their behavior again—suddenly taking flight before quickly settling back into their perches again.  (Source: Time.com)

HOLY OBSERVANCE: Serpentine Day
Peak Tone 8 represents the zenith hour of Light, and Divine Justice that is carried out by the Hand of Divine Agency. 8 CHICCHAN offers a Revelation of Light that comes with the Quickening of Spirit, the Maya call “lightning in the blood.”

The SIgn for today is Number 88, the 8th Tone of the Day in the Year of 8 (2+0+2+4), the Promise of a Divine Harvest that will be revealed by the Lion’s Gate, 08/08/08 (2+0+2+4). August 8 marks Earth’s closest alignment with the Central Sun of the Galaxy, when Sirius appears directly above the pyramids of  Giza, and shares the power across the “dragon lines” with the pyramid at Chichen Itza, the temple to Kukulkan/Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent. 08/08 shines the brightest light for growth and expansion before the Harvest Moon.

CHICCHAN is a Mayan symbol of the Yod, when we are touched by the Hand of God. The Element of Fire was the center of the rituals and sacred ceremonies to honor this Holy Day. The Sun is the Source of Light and the Fire that raises our Consciousness of the Light.

This is a day to keep the “home fires burning” and to be moved by a Divine Intention to Honor the Light of the New Son of our Salvation. May we kneel to a higher way shared by our Sacred Ancestors, in our own way as Spirit moves us to do to Honor the Higher Truth that the Light of the Sun will always be alive within and always shining down as the Source for Life on Mother Earth.

4 is a Sacred Number that builds a foundation for a New Dream based on the Truth of every direction on Earth. 4 Hours is Time that’s worthy to dedicate to fasting and prayer as we Celebrate the Light that will be sovereign over the Light that came before.

The Florentine Codex illustrates the Yod as Truth spoken from the Heart.

The Serpent is the 10th letter of the Egyptian Hieroglyph of the Serpent, the symbol of Divine Illumination. The Hebrew letter of Yod also looks like a “comma” – the pause before the Final Word.

The Yod is the “jot and tittle” of the Creator’s Truth that can’t be changed by any language.

 

 

 

May we share the Light of our Faith and light the candles as our expression of the Light that always burns within. May we look and listen for a Revelation and the Divine Inspiration for our own Highest way.

The April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse falls on 9 Transformer/CIMI the symbol of the Comforter and the Holy Spirit. Chaos will be the Sign of a Major Life change in Progress on the scale of Life and Death. Tone 9 “completes” the transition of Darkness to Light through an Intention of patience to step back and Know the Truth of the Big Picture. May we be One with the Light as it crosses the sky, and turn our back to an “appearance” of Darkness that can’t stop the Sun from shining forever.

May we sing songs of Truth and stand in Faith of a Hand of Divine Agency, no matter what the  Darkness may “appear to bring.”

“By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure.”

We’ve been given many Signs that it’s Divine Time to Live for the Light, and banish the shadows of darkness from crossing the threshold of your door to the Creator’s Sanctuary within.

I’m grateful for the Signs we are given to “pass a test” of Faith that there’s a Divine Meaning and Purpose for everything, Ordered by the Time measured from Above. I’m grateful for all the signs to remember the Light was given in Harmony and Equity for the whole. May we count our blessings for a Choice to be One in the Light for the Sake of Love.
