THE STRANGE CHILL OF THE MOON’S SHADOW: A 100-mile wide shaft of cool air is about to race through Earth’s atmosphere faster than 1500 mph. It’s the shadow of the Moon created by Monday’s total eclipse of the sun. This animation shows the progress of darkness across the United States.
Solar eclipses make their own weather–starting with the temperature. How much the temperature falls depends on the humidity. Dry environments could see a drop of 8 to 14 degrees, less so if it’s humid. According to NASA, an eclipse in Zambia on June 21, 2001, reduced the temperature nearly 15 degrees.
The reduction in temperature can make clouds disappear. Satellites observing eclipses from Earth orbit have detected many examples. A 10-year study just published in Nature found that cumulus clouds begin dissipating when a mere 15 percent of the sun is covered. In some cases, clouds didn’t start to return until 50 minutes after maximum eclipse.
This could be good news for eclipse chasers in Mexico and Texas, where widespread cloudcover is expected on April 8th. The eclipse itself might help clear the sky.
BIG FARSIDE SUNSPOT: Sunspot AR3615, last seen in March crackling with X-flares, is now transiting the farside of the sun. The sunspot is so big, it is affecting the way the sun vibrates, allowing researchers to detect its seismic echo. Also, NASA’s rover Perseverance can see the sunspot all the way from Mars. This large active region will return to the Earthside of the sun about a week from now.
Like every ritual or sacred ceremony, we expect the effect when it happens. The Truth follows AFTER a Sign that comes before. We all watched on December 21, 2012 for the “end of time,” many thought could be the end of the world. It takes Time to see a Cause and Effect. We can look back now to see how much our life was changed, after – hardly recognizable as it was before.
Time is the construct through which we see the Truth of everything. One Sign doesn’t hold much weight, until we see it happening again and again. Then we Know it means something.
Considering the prevailing winds, we can imagine the effects of a shaft of cool air racing through Earth’s atmosphere faster than 1500 mph.

The shaft of Wind will flow on course with the prevailing Westerly Winds and will cross the 33rd parallel. Number 33 is the symbol of the “Master Teacher.” The movement in the same direction as the prevailing winds would likely accelerate the “movement that prevails.” The effect could be seeing the extremes as a Sign for the future.

In 3 days, Saturn and Mars will be stationed together. Saturn is the taskmaster that moves us beyond the energy of procrastination. By its size Saturn delivers a strong pull of geomagnetic forces. It takes a greater effort to stand straight up. It’s said that Saturn always leaves a gift behind. We gain strength after we “take care of business.” After the trial, it can feel like a breeze to stand up straight again. Mars adds Fire and Passion to our Intentions, one way or the other. It’s up to us to stand in Faith to believe in a Promise that one day everything would change and the world would be restored by a balance of Harmony and Equity. Love defines the Creator’s Intention of Divine Justice.
After the eclipse, we can run to the Father in Gratitude for Light of the Brightest One. How we begin sets the course of vibration. The chord we strike at the beginning sets the Tone and Frequency that will be sustained to the end.

This is the Year 13 Earth/CABAN. Number 13 is a symbol of theurgy, the power of our rituals and sacred ceremonies of prayer to call upon a Hand of Divine Agency to intervene in Human affairs. Serpentine Day is observed as time to Light the Candles to reflect the Light that shines within.
We stand up straight through the Thoughts and Intentions of Faith, Love, and Charity. It’s not our place to judge one another. We never know all the facts of a matter, except One. Our lives revolve around the Dream of Love, being Seen and Acknowledged as something greater than our Human errors. The Light of the Sun shines for all. Each Time and Place receives its equal measure of the Light by the Movement of Mother Earth.
We could imagine a Divine Force that directs the Light of our prayers to the darkest places on the planet. The Sound of Love could follow the prevailing winds around the world. Vibrations of Love are signals that hold the magnetic powers to draw lower vibrations into sympathy.
May we stand up for the Truth that there are no “hopeless causes.” That’s how we long to be seen on our darkest days, when we “give up” on Faith and “go the way of the world” to put an end to our problems. Those are Times that never reflect the Truth of our identity, only our pain.
8 Serpent/CHICCHAN, Serpentine Day, is the Celebration of the Consciousness of the Choice to Love. A Quickening of our Spirit is the Spark that lights the fuse of the Force of Life. The Divine Reason To Be is Love, the Creator’s Dream that shall be manifested As Above, So Below.
Flint/ETZNAB symbolizes the Truth aimed straight to the Heart. In the blink of an eye, Love sweeps the way clear to Know the Truth that will prevail. Flint’s Truth is always unexpected, because “somehow we knew all along” by the Truth of our own experience.

CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal of the Tzolk’in represent the center column of 20-days, which carry the Intention of Balancing. In the Center we are returned to Unity with the whole as our sense of duality comes into balance. The Maya believed this to be the axis mundi – the center of the world that connects Heaven and Earth, where the four directions meet; where communication from lower realms may ascend to higher ones and blessings from higher realms may descend to lower ones and be disseminated to all. The Core Days may be experienced as a time of personal mystery as we recreate ourselves.
