THE TRECENA OF EAGLE/MEN: A HIGHER PERSPECTIVE
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Beloved Kin,

8 Wind/IK
Wind/IK is the Mayan symbol for the Word of God Word compared to the Power of a Hurricane. God’s Word can change the landscape of our life. We’re guided to surrender to God’s way to complete the end.
IK is the Breath of Life and the Breath of Spirit. Number 8 is the symbol of Divine Justice. God offered a new covenant with the Greatest Commandment being to Love the Lord with all our Mind, Heart and Soul, and the second, like the first, to Love one another the same.
The “children of Israel” became “all God’s children” – Jews and Gentiles alike, who reach by Faith to the One God above all.
God is the only Witness of the Truth, the Only One with the Authority to judge us. God sees the condition of our heart.
By Mayan time 8 Wind/IK is celebrated as a Holy Day of Purification. The “T” carved in stone magnified the sound of the Wind. God’s breath of creation directs the eyes to see and ears to hear. When we turn to the Word the Truth will be seen and heard.
When we honor everyone’s Sacred Way, we can claim the Truth that every tradition of Love was inspired by the One God who created every Good thing.
Doubts and fears are not Words of God. Satan’s prevailing message is that we’ll never be enough. Only God’s Word can sweep all our fears away.
We are purified by the Light of the Creator’s Love. We are bodies of Living Water purified by the Son. God’s Word is spoken through the whole creation. The Truth that can’t be changed stands on every scale of discernment.
8 Wind/IK falls in synchronicity with the Holy Week of Easter. By the Christian calendar Holy Saturday is observed as a vigil in the Holy Night of Easter. We wait on the Word to be fulfilled.

Reading 1
In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth,
the earth was a formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss,
while a mighty wind swept over the waters.
Then God said,
“Let there be light,” and there was light.
God saw how good the light was.
God then separated the light from the darkness.
God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.”
Thus evening came, and morning followed—the first day.
Then God said,
“Let there be a dome in the middle of the waters,
to separate one body of water from the other.”
And so it happened:
God made the dome,
and it separated the water above the dome from the water below it.
God called the dome “the sky.”
Evening came, and morning followed—the second day.
Then God said,
“Let the water under the sky be gathered into a single basin,
so that the dry land may appear.”
And so it happened:
the water under the sky was gathered into its basin,
and the dry land appeared.
God called the dry land “the earth, “
and the basin of the water he called “the sea.”
God saw how good it was.
Then God said,
“Let the earth bring forth vegetation:
every kind of plant that bears seed
and every kind of fruit tree on earth
that bears fruit with its seed in it.”
And so it happened:
the earth brought forth every kind of plant that bears seed
and every kind of fruit tree on earth
that bears fruit with its seed in it.
God saw how good it was.
Evening came, and morning followed—the third day.
Then God said:
“Let there be lights in the dome of the sky,
to separate day from night.
Let them mark the fixed times, the days and the years,
and serve as luminaries in the dome of the sky,
to shed light upon the earth.”
And so it happened:
God made the two great lights,
the greater one to govern the day,
and the lesser one to govern the night;
and he made the stars.
God set them in the dome of the sky,
to shed light upon the earth,
to govern the day and the night,
and to separate the light from the darkness.
God saw how good it was.
Evening came, and morning followed—the fourth day.
John 4:48 KJV
48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
Jesus was asked for a Sign of the end and he refused. He said the Signs were already given. It’s up to us to see.
Luke 21:25-33 KJV
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
The Holy Day of Purification is a vigil to watch for the Signs, and to wait for the Time when God’s Word is fulfilled. The Jewish Passover tradition is an Intention to Dwell in the Image of God on Earth, as it is in heaven.
The Year of Jubilee is a Sign
Gates of heaven are opened wide and all can receive a double-blessing of forgiveness.
Deuteronomy 15:1-18 ESV
“At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release. And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed. Of a foreigner you may exact it, but whatever of yours is with your brother your hand shall release. But there will be no poor among you; for the Lord will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance to possess— if only you will strictly obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all this commandment that I command you today.
As we judge, so shall we be judged. As we forgive, so shall we be forgiven. We are Holy Purified when our heart reaches for the Truth seen by God. The world’s truth is only an illusion, based on the doubts and fears of the evil one.
1 John 1:5
God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 English Standard Version
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you

THE TRECENA OF EAGLE/MEN: THE HIGHEST PERSPECTIVE
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Human calendar of migration written within. To see the Signs, we have to track every thought and bring them into harmony with God’s Truth. God ordered the Divine Thoughts for every Day and every cycle of Light that has a beginning and an end.
The Maya were called the Masters of Time for the most precise count of time based on signs in the heavenly vault, and revealed as the Truth by thoughts that are ordered by Time that was written within. A Divine Order of Truth reveals the synchronicity of Cause and Effect and history that repeats itself to God’s Divine end of knowing.

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
A GOOD DAY TO: Send communications of all kinds.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
