SPACEWEATHER: Farside M3.3-Class Flare Emerging from the East

Early Hours of Jan.12th

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 01/12/2026

SOMETHING FLARE-Y THIS WAY COMES: For the second time in a week, a significant CME has billowed away from the farside of the sun. The latest appeared during the early hours of Jan.12th following an M3.3-class flare just behind the sun’s eastern limb. These events are connected. An actively flaring sunspot group is about to emerge as the sun’s rotation turns it to face Earth later this week.

The animations reflect the scale of the activity.

CME IMPACT SPARKS GEOMAGNETIC STORM: As predicted, a CME struck Earth on Jan. 10th (20:30 UTC). In fact, it may have been a “Cannibal CME,” consisting of two CMEs tangled together. The impact sparked a G2-class geomagnetic storm with bright auroras inside the Arctic Circle:

“The Northern Lights were otherworldly–like something out of a fairly tale,” says Eva Kristiansen, who photographed the outburst over Tromsø, Norway.

Earth’s magnetic field is still reverberating from the strike. Minor G1-storms could continue through Jan. 12th.

SUNSPOT IN THE GEOEFFECTIVE ZONE
Sunspot 4336 now positioned in the Earth-directed strike zone harbors ‘beta-gamma’ magnetic field energy with potential for M-class solar flares.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

The final Ascension of the Tzolk’in round raises the Light of the Son. The Star/LAMAT trecena represents the Ascension of the Scion, the Light of the Son that shines all around. Today, 3 Dog/OC represents Movement and Highest Intention of the Creator who planned the ever-lasting Light of Unconditional Love. The Ascending cycle brings the Truth of our own Transformation to Light. Dog is the Faithful Love that “gathers Souls to Heaven”.

13 Sun/AHAU represents the Light of the Lord of all Creation, the Answer to a Prayer for the end planned from the beginning. By Mayan time, we “See the Light” on January 22, 2026. In the Haab Year 1 Wind/IK the date is a Portal 22:222. Before, on the Holy Day of Communion, 8 Eagle/MEN, January 17th, we’re offered a telescopic glimpse of the future. January is a “Season of New Years” and beginnings.

4TH SEASON: 1 Wisdom/CIB begins the 4th Season of the Tzolk’in that ends in the final Ascension of 1 Star/LAMAT, the Light of the Scion on 13 Sun/AHAU – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.

A GOOD DAY TO: Make new connections and reconnect with others.

Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. OC-Totem –Dog:  Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death.  This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle.  Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion.  All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.

The Dog Star, Sirius
North American indigenous tribes have also referred to the star in canine terms. The Seri and Tohono O’odham tribes of the southwest describe Sirius as a “dog that follows mountain sheep,” while the Cherokee paired Sirius with Antares as a dog-star guardian of the “Path of Souls.” The Skidi tribe of Nebraska named it the “Wolf Star,” and further north the Alaskan Inuit of the Bering Strait called it “Moon Dog.”
