The Internationally Renowned Artists of Gee’s Bend

The Beauty of Discarded People

The Quiltmakers of Gee’s Bends were bought, sold, and discarded. Everything they had was taken away.

They were the poorest of the poor in their Day. Even their names were stolen. By God’s Hand of Divine Justice, they became internationally renowned as Masters of their Art.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

6 Road/EB is Time to Remember the Days of the “Old Ones”. 6 is a symbol of Divine Trinity between 2 (3 x 2).

God can pour out the Light of Heaven in a very tangible way. To be close to Jesus was their plan to survive. There was nothing to fear. The Lord knows our names from all the Saints that came before. Their Justice will be fulfilled in Heaven, when Jesus calls their Names.

Psalm 34:18 NIV
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.

1 Deer/MANIK is the 3nd trecena found in “Tzolk’in Field Guide: Volume 1, Seasons 1 and 2”

6 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA) – Day 6 of 13 of the 1 Deer/MANIK trecena  (Tone 1 of each trecena is the Light of God’s Divine Inspiration for 13 Days.)

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in FREE CALCULATOR preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.

A GOOD DAY TO: Do some Community Service.

Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer. Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.

The Cherokee define the Time for Healing by powers above. We’re called to See the Signs through the whole spectrum of God’s Light.

Aztec, Grass/MALINALLIDay Malinalli (Grass, known as Eb in Maya). This day signifies tenacity, rejuvenation, that which cannot be uprooted forever. Malinalli is a day for persevering against all odds and for creating alliances that will survive the test of time. It is a good day for those who are suppressed (the lambs), and a bad day for their suppressors (the goats)

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
