A Divine Mission: The Creation of Holy Trinity

The First Sunday of Lent

Greetings Beloved Kin,

The Season of Lent is an offering to Follow in the footsteps of Jesus to Calvary. We are called to become disciples of the Word to become Light of Christ’s Spirit on Earth.

Sunday is the Lord’s Day. By Jewish tradition, the Sabbath includes 2 Days, Saturday and Sunday, from Sundown to Sundown. By Mayan tradition Days are ordered from Sunrise to Sunrise, as 2 Days. God is with us by Day and by Night.

On the First Sunday of Lent we take the first steps toward our Salvation. Through the confession of our sin and God’s promise of Forgiveness, we are purified and blessed. We’re called to dedicate this Time to the Lord.

The Christian Order of Time

02/22/2026, First Sunday of Lent, Lectionary: 22

Reading 1, Genesis 2:7-9; 3:1-7

The LORD God formed man out of the clay of the ground
and blew into his nostrils the breath of life,
and so man became a living being.

Then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east,
and placed there the man whom he had formed.
Out of the ground the LORD God made various trees grow
that were delightful to look at and good for food,
with the tree of life in the middle of the garden
and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the animals
that the LORD God had made.
The serpent asked the woman,
“Did God really tell you not to eat
from any of the trees in the garden?”
The woman answered the serpent:
“We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden;
it is only about the fruit of the tree
in the middle of the garden that God said,
‘You shall not eat it or even touch it, lest you die.’”

But the serpent said to the woman:
“You certainly will not die!
No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it
your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods
who know what is good and what is evil.”
The woman saw that the tree was good for food,
pleasing to the eyes, and desirable for gaining wisdom.
So she took some of its fruit and ate it;
and she also gave some to her husband, who was with her,
and he ate it.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened,
and they realized that they were naked;
so they sewed fig leaves together
and made loincloths for themselves.

Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 51:3-4, 5-6, 12-13, 17

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.
Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness;
in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense.
Thoroughly wash me from my guilt
and of my sin cleanse me.

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.
For I acknowledge my offense,
and my sin is before me always:
“Against you only have I sinned,
and done what is evil in your sight.”

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.
A clean heart create for me, O God,
and a steadfast spirit renew within me.
Cast me not out from your presence,
and your Holy Spirit take not from me.

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.
Give me back the joy of your salvation,
and a willing spirit sustain in me.
O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

Gospel, Matthew 4:1-11

At that time Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert
to be tempted by the devil.
He fasted for forty days and forty nights,
and afterwards he was hungry.

The tempter approached and said to him,
“If you are the Son of God,
command that these stones become loaves of bread.”

He said in reply,
“It is written:
One does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes forth
from the mouth of God.”

The 3 Pillars of the tradition of Lent are Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving. Instead of turning to fear and doubt, we turn to Faith through our prayers. We are called to Fast from the world and to feast on the Word. By Paying Forward we are Giving Back, in the Name of the Lord.

Matthew 22:37-40 KJV

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Signs of Synchronicity: The meaning of Time by the Mayan Calendar:

The Maya were acknowledged as the Masters of Time. They looked to the Signs in the Heavenly Vault to discover the Order of Time on every scale, by the Hour, the Day, and the Year. The Long Count is all Time from the Beginning.

The world’s history repeats itself until we choose to follow God’s Divine Order. Each 13-Day trecena is Human’s way by Day and by Night. The 20-Day uinal is God’s Higher Order of Time.

This Time around the Tzolk’in, Human’s Calendar, is aligned with the Season of Lent. Deer/MANIK is the way of the Mayan priest who follows God’s Order. A Hand dedicated to God’s Mission counts the Days, offering prayers, and carries out the Sacred Ceremonies and Rituals on behalf of the whole. 40 Days completes 2 20-Day cycles of the Highest Order to be united as 1 in Divine Trinity.

10:11
The First Sign of Synchronicity is the 2 who walk as One. Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN share the highest place. The pyramid illustrates a climb of Faith. Dog’s Position 10 is God’s Number. Monkey/CHUEN in Position 11 represents the Master Number 11, the symbol of the Source and Substance of God’s Divine Inspiration. Those who follow God’s Orders are empowered by the Holy Spirit of Christ.

2:22:22:222
The 2nd month, the 22nd Day, Lectionary 22, in the Haab Year 222 (1 Wind/IK) presents the 2nd Sign of Synchronicity. Master Number 22 is the promise that we are empowered to create anything that is aligned with the Truth and the Way of Christ.

The Two highest aspects of the Supreme Lord of Creation are the Unconditional Love of the Dog’s Way, and the Gift of Consciousness. The Monkey is the Master of All Arts with the Divine Consciousness to Create Time. Monkey/CHUEN is the “weaver of Time” inspired by Love to Create the Masterpiece of Life. The glyph for Monkey/CHUEN illustrates “time rolled up” in the Monkey’s head.

Humans are Time travelers. We hold the Power to change the past and the future by the Love we create Today.

Tone 5 represents the Intention of Empowerment to Change. By the Power of the Holy Spirit we can change tomorrow forever-after. Look for the Signs and you will see.

John 3:13 KJV
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Revelation 3:20 KJV
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

We are called to follow in Christ’s footsteps. Ask, Seek, and Knock. We’ve all fallen short. By God’s Grace we’ll Ascend as One in Divine Trinity as the One Holy Spirit of Christ.

love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

PRAYERS FROM THE FIFTH WATCH

The next time you’re Called to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find the reason you were called to pray by the watch of the Day.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

“Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment”
by Debra Malmos, 9 Eagle/MEN

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.

1 Deer/MANIK is the 3nd trecena found in “Tzolk’in Field Guide: Volume 1, Seasons 1 and 2”

When you feel lost, return to the Inspiration of Day One. Tone 1 of each trecena is the Light of God’s Divine Inspiration for 13 Days.

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart. Totem Monkey: The energy of humor, the artisan and craftsmen of the Universal energy. Helps us to lighten up in all situations, was the glyph of the 4th world creation in conjunction with OC so that we would have humor in all of our endeavors. The humor, when added to a serious situation will allow you to have a less destructive pattern of resolution. This is the “Cosmic joke” energy to help us transcend the duality. A life path of comedian, actor, artist, artisan writer, satirist, any path is enhanced with this humor in conjunction with the creative energies.

Perseus is the Sign of one who carries away the “evil eye” of Medusa, contained within a purse. We are free of the evil one when we wield the Sword of Truth, the Word of God.
