A Divine Mission: Giving Back and Paying Forward (3 Offering/MULUC)

The Service of Love

By the Divine Order of Time we’re called to follow in the footsteps of the Savior.  It’s been estimated that Jesus and the disciples covered a distance of  2500 miles over the course of his mission on Earth. (Source: Quora, Pastor, Mark Brown)

Mary and Joseph traveled between 70 and 90 miles to Bethlehem, depending on the route. This is a long way for anyone, let alone a woman nine months pregnant. Some say she would have walked rather than ridden a donkey, as is often depicted. Either way, it would have been an intensely wearying trip!  (Source: CatholicCompany.com)

The 40 Days of Lent is a journey of sorrows. It’s easy to focus on our own suffering and our fears of tomorrow. When we bear the suffering for a Divine Cause, the Offering will be more than enough.

3 Offering / MULUC

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Tone 3 is the first Day of Movement in the 13-Day cycle of Human’s creation. We are moved by the Hand of God. On Tone 2 we question the means and the way to the end. When we’re moved by God, the way is made easy when we receive the Light for Today. We can leave the end in God’s hands.

We draw the Light into the world when we take a first step forward. Whether it be through physical movement or the spoken word, we create the Sound of a new Vibration.

Spirit moves by Intention. The First Step is the most important as The Beginning that defines The End. The Reason we move sets the tone and frequency. Love is the Vibration in Harmony with the song the Uni-verse, the Lord’s Creation of the Beauty of Love.

3 MULUC represents the Christ Spirit on the move. MULUC is associated with the Moon, our Emotions, and Water everywhere from the cosmos to our own tears. Time is ordered to honor our Feelings and the Feelings of the whole. Our circumstances may be different, but our experience of suffering is the same.

The glyph illustrates our One Drop of Holy Water, raised by the Light of an Offering. Every Offering receives the Sacred Exchange of Atonement. Our Soul is redeemed by the One who claims us as His Own. We were called to become the Scion, the living personification of God’s Love. MULUC represents a healing on a mass scale.

2 holds the potential for Divine Trinity. Master Number 22 is the promise that we will manifest a Creation in agreement with God’s Will.

Matthew 18:20 NIV
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Christian Calendar’s Order of Time

February 20, 2026, Friday after Ash Wednesday, Lectionary: 221

Reading 1, Isaiah 58:1-9a
Thus says the Lord GOD:
Cry out full-throated and unsparingly,
lift up your voice like a trumpet blast;
Tell my people their wickedness,
and the house of Jacob their sins.
They seek me day after day,
and desire to know my ways,
Like a nation that has done what is just
and not abandoned the law of their God;
They ask me to declare what is due them,
pleased to gain access to God.
“Why do we fast, and you do not see it?
afflict ourselves, and you take no note of it?”

Lo, on your fast day you carry out your own pursuits,
and drive all your laborers.
Yes, your fast ends in quarreling and fighting,
striking with wicked claw.
Would that today you might fast
so as to make your voice heard on high!
Is this the manner of fasting I wish,
of keeping a day of penance:
That a man bow his head like a reed
and lie in sackcloth and ashes?
Do you call this a fast,
a day acceptable to the LORD?

This, rather, is the fasting that I wish:
releasing those bound unjustly,
untying the thongs of the yoke;
Setting free the oppressed,
breaking every yoke;
Sharing your bread with the hungry,
sheltering the oppressed and the homeless;
Clothing the naked when you see them,
and not turning your back on your own.
Then your light shall break forth like the dawn,
and your wound shall quickly be healed;
Your vindication shall go before you,
and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer,
you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am!

Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 51:3-4, 5-6ab, 18-19
R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.
Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness;
in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense.
Thoroughly wash me from my guilt
and of my sin cleanse me.
R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.
For I acknowledge my offense,
and my sin is before me always:
“Against you only have I sinned,
and done what is evil in your sight.”
R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.
For you are not pleased with sacrifices;
should I offer a burnt offering, you would not accept it.
My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit;
a heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.
R. A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

Verse Before the Gospel, See Amos 5:14
Seek good and not evil so that you may live,
and the Lord will be with you.

The Cherokee River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.

Love flows in the Giving Back and Paying Forward. Through the Offering of Forgiveness the sins of the past are like water under the bridge, never to be seen again. We hold the power to set hearts free of shame and separation, when we acknowledge one another as our own kin.

Almsgiving is one of the three central pillars of Lenten practice, together with prayer and fasting. In the giving both sides are blessed and sorrows are swept away.

Hebrews 12:1 KJV
12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

PRAYERS FROM THE THIRD WATCH

The next time you’re Called to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. “Behold, he that keepeth our Soul shall neither slumber nor sleep.” You may find the reason you were praying by the watch of the Day.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.

1 Deer/MANIK is the 3nd trecena found in “Tzolk’in Field Guide: Volume 1, Seasons 1 and 2”

When you feel lost, return to the Inspiration of Day One. Tone 1 of each trecena is the Light of God’s Divine Inspiration for 13 Days.

3 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)  – Day 3 of 13 of the 1 Deer/MANIK trecena

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

A GOOD DAY TO: Offer appreciation for all of creation.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
