Consecrated by the Light
Ezekiel 20:20 KJV
“And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.”
The Deer is the symbol of One who follows a daily path, as a Hand dedicated to service in the Name of the Lord. Through the Offering of the Holy Spirit we are consecrated and blessed with the Gifts to fulfill the Mission in Integrity of the Truth and the Way. The 13-Day journey guided by Sun/AHAU, every Day is Hallowed.
We were called to follow in the cycle that came before (1 Deer/MANIK). Those that chose to follow are exalted in the Lord’s Zenith Hour of Light.

HOLY OBSERVANCE: CELEBRATION AND INITIATION OF THE MAYAN PRIEST
“Hallowed” means to make holy, consecrate, or treat as sacred and revered. A Hand dedicated to service in the Lord’s Name is Holy, set apart, and deserving of supreme honor. We might consider this Holy Observance the Answer to the Lord’s Prayer we learned from the Son.
Matthew 6:9-13 KJV
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Deer/MANIK holds Position 7, the Sign of completion by the Lord of all Creation. Hand is another name for MANIK. The glyph illustrates the Hand that reaches to connect with the Power and Source of the Light, the Truth, and the Way. The Circle on the Hand represents the Vigilant Eye of the Deer.
MANIK is associated with the Element of Water, used by the priest for Blessings, Purification, and for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Tone 8 begins the Transformation Phase of every 13-Day cycle. The Holy Spirit will call us to our prayers and remind us of the Hand that never lets go.
We’re called to Vigilant Consciousness. We can lose sight of Words of the Lord’s Prayer and what the Answer means. We’re called to pray Morning, Noon, and Night.
Jesus called the disciples to “go the extra mile”. (Matthew 5:41) We are wholly invested when we repeat the Number 3 x 3. When we pray the Lord’s Prayer 3 Times 3, Eyes that See, and Ears that Hear can realize something new with every repetition.
Deer/MANIK represents the Gift of Spiritual Tools. The Staff we take up to follow is One Divine Truth to stand on. We become a Source of Divine Trinity for every other one who stands in Agreement.
Give Thanks for the Lord’s Prayer and consider how the Answer will Transform our Life. The Deer is equipped with landscape vision to see the Big Picture, and Ears that move independently to perfectly discern the Source and Location of every Sound of Movement. We’ll hear trouble coming in Time to Leap to Holy Ground.

Tuesday of the Third Week of Lent, Lectionary: 238
Reading 1, Daniel 3:25, 34-43
Azariah stood up in the fire and prayed aloud:
“For your name’s sake, O Lord, do not deliver us up forever,
or make void your covenant.
Do not take away your mercy from us,
for the sake of Abraham, your beloved,
Isaac your servant, and Israel your holy one,
To whom you promised to multiply their offspring
like the stars of heaven,
or the sand on the shore of the sea.
For we are reduced, O Lord, beyond any other nation,
brought low everywhere in the world this day
because of our sins.
We have in our day no prince, prophet, or leader,
no burnt offering, sacrifice, oblation, or incense,
no place to offer first fruits, to find favor with you.
But with contrite heart and humble spirit
let us be received;
As though it were burnt offerings of rams and bullocks,
or thousands of fat lambs,
So let our sacrifice be in your presence today
as we follow you unreservedly;
for those who trust in you cannot be put to shame.
And now we follow you with our whole heart,
we fear you and we pray to you.
Do not let us be put to shame,
but deal with us in your kindness and great mercy.
Deliver us by your wonders,
and bring glory to your name, O Lord.”
Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 25:4-5ab, 6 and 7bc, 8-9
R. Remember your mercies, O Lord.
Your ways, O LORD, make known to me;
teach me your paths,
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my savior.
R. Remember your mercies, O Lord.
Remember that your compassion, O LORD,
and your kindness are from of old.
In your kindness remember me,
because of your goodness, O LORD.
R. Remember your mercies, O Lord.
Good and upright is the LORD;
thus he shows sinners the way.
He guides the humble to justice,
he teaches the humble his way.
R. Remember your mercies, O Lord.
Verse Before the Gospel, Joel 2:12-13
Even now, says the LORD,
return to me with your whole heart;
for I am gracious and merciful.
The Season of Lent is the Time Ordered to Remember. At the Last Supper Jesus offered the Sacrament of Holy Communion as a “Spiritual Tool” to Remember. May we rededicate our Life to the Lord’s Way, and Celebrate the Answer to our Hallowed Prayers. The Lord’s Face shines upon us, brighter with every extra step we take.

PRAYERS FROM THE FOURTH WATCH
May we stand in agreement that Every Day is the Lord’s Day and rededicate our Life to the Purpose. We can join one another in the Lord’s Prayer to Realize the Answer as One.
The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. The Time of the Watch reveals the reason you were called to pray.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
- First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
- Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
- Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
- Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
- Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
- Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
- Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
- Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

“Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment”

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.
1 Sun/AHAU is the 3nd trecena found in “Tzolk’in Field Guide: Volume 1, Seasons 1 and 2”
When you get lost, return to the Inspiration of Day One. Tone 1 of each trecena is the Light of God’s Divine Inspiration for 13 Days.
8 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 8 of 13 of the 1 Sun/AHAU trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in FREE CALCULATOR preserved on MayanMajix.com.
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
A GOOD DAY TO: Be of service to others.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
