The Remnant: A Journey of Silence and Reflection (9 Jaguar/IX)

The Beginning

A Breath of Consciousness

John 1:1 KJV
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

What does “Word” mean?
In John 1:1, “the Word” (Logos in Greek) refers to Jesus Christ as the eternal, divine self-expression of God, existing before creation, co-equal with God the Father, and acting as the agent of creation. It signifies that Jesus is the ultimate revelation, bringing God’s thought and intention into the world. (Source: GotQuestions.org)

There would be no discernable meaning of Life if the Creation were a random event. When I was 65 someone suggested, “You live, you die, and that’s all there is.” It may have been the first time I questioned my Faith. I could only imagine how empty life would be without Faith beyond what the eye could see. In the end, I simply chose Faith that makes life worth living, and Asked God to believe.

Matthew 4:4 KJV
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

The Old Testament lays down the Laws of the Universe.  Jesus offered the Truth and the Only Way to fulfill the Law. Jesus manifested a Reason to Love, to know an Abundant Life of Meaning and Purpose.

THE TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI: MAJOR CHANGE ON THE SCALE OF LIFE AND DEATH
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
9 Jaguar/IX (eesh), Cherokee, Panther/Saho’ni, Destiny Kin 74, Position 14
April 6, 2026, 04/06/2026; Times Before: 07/20/2025, 11/02/2024

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Jaguar/IX is the Mayan symbol of Spirit. The Jaguar is rarely seen, except for the footprints it leaves behind. Tone 9 is the symbol of a Creation that is “finished” by the Holy, Holy, Holy (3 x 3). The Intention of Time is the Patience to See the Big Picture. It comes with a warning that there is suffering to bear for lack of Divine Insight, if we fail to take this step.

When “the work” of Creation is “finished” we step back to see what we’ve accomplished through the Eyes of the Beholder. It’s a step we’re guided to take at the end of every Day. In Humility we are willing to see what was good, to imagine what we could do better tomorrow.

We’re guided to clearly see the Unseen Spirit that guides our Life from a Sanctuary within. Under the cover of Invisibility, we become the Silent witness of Life. The world is the Illusion. The Truth lies within.

Walking in Divine Trinity we see a Divine Reason to Love. The experience of Love is the Light of Life. We weren’t left to our own devices. Truth and Love are gifts from the One Source of all Creation. We were born to be a Savior, in the image of the Lord of our Salvation.

The Daily Word from the Christian Calendar

April 6, 2026, Monday in the Octave of Easter, Lectionary: 261

Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 16:1-2a and 5, 7-8, 9-10, 11

R. Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.
Keep me, O God, for in you I take refuge;
I say to the LORD, “My Lord are you.”
O LORD, my allotted portion and my cup,
you it is who hold fast my lot.
R. Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.
I bless the LORD who counsels me;
even in the night my heart exhorts me.
I set the LORD ever before me;
with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.
R. Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.
Therefore my heart is glad and my soul rejoices,
my body, too, abides in confidence;
Because you will not abandon my soul to the nether world,
nor will you suffer your faithful one to undergo corruption.
R. Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.
You will show me the path to life,
fullness of joys in your presence,
the delights at your right hand forever.
R. Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.

Alleluia, Psalm 118:24

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
This is the day the LORD has made;
let us be glad and rejoice in it.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

May we give thanks to the Lord for a Divine Reason to Live. May we kneel to the One who shared the Word of everlasting Love. May we turn to the Lord every Day for everything we need to manifest a Life meaning and purpose.

love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

PRAYERS FROM THE THIRD WATCH – SPIRITUAL WAREFARE

The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. The Time of the Watch reveals the reason you were called to pray.

Matthew 26:53 KJV
53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

9 Jaguar/IX (Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI) – Day 9 of 13 of the 1 Transformer/CIMI trecena.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Jaguar/IX: Born with a deep love of the Mother Earth, Jaguar or shaman is directly tied to the source of all Earth magic. They possess great power of intellect and strength or character through integrity. Jaguar energy is feminine in nature and is the ruling spirit of jungles, plains, and mountains. The spirit of Jaguar inhabits the Mayan temples and is called on to assist in spiritual as well as in material ways. Jaguar is also the god/goddess of gratefulness.

A GOOD DAY TO: Commune with and give thanks to Mother Nature.

Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI: Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, shooting stars, fireballs, and magicians.  Meteors appearing around the middle of November are Heralds of the Coming of the Light, the Cherokee New Year. Panther is the Shadow of the Sphinx, Herald of the Dawn, guardian of the night when the sun is traveling through the underworld. Panthers have unlimited imaginations, visualizations, and are spellbinding speakers. The Cherokee Totem Jaguar is the guardian of the portals to other dimensions; Divine abilities will open; multi-dimensional magic; healer, leader, way shower energy when used for spiritual growth.  Conducive to pray for grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters and wives day. For wisdom at 4 Balances, cunning and protection of Mother Nature. To thank the Earth for sustenance. Ix is the native cunning, enterprising, vigorous, bold and realistic.

The Jaguar’s “earth magic” is Gratitude. We are called to an invisible path that leads to the Light and Truth of Love.
