A Clarion Call to the Heart
Ephesians 4:5-6 KJV
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
When the Lord convicts our Heart by Faith, we’re compelled beyond Human Will to do what what we must do. Faith is not a Human Creation, but the effects of an Act of God.
Hebrews 12:2 KJV
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity
Hebrews 11:1 KJV – Faith in Action
11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN: DAWN OF A BEAUTIFUL CREATION
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
7 Earth/CABAN, Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWIU’, Destiny Kin 137, Position 17
June 8, 2026, 06/08/2026; Times Before: 09/21/2025, 01/04/2025, 04/19/2024, 08/03/2023
Greetings Beloved Kin,

Earth/CABAN represents Forces of Nature that convict our heart to move with confidence forward toward an end we cannot see. CABAN is the Force that ignites every Great Migration on Earth. The Wildebeests are compelled to a new destination by Faith that abounds in a promise of green pastures where a new life can grow to abundance.
We find out what we’re made of when life presents us with a move to a new location. We cease to procrastinate on the daily tasks of living when we are given a Time to Move.
I remember the big move from Seattle to Kansas. The center for trash collection was at a distance from my apartment. It felt like a major effort to haul my routine 2-3 bags of trash each week. I kept count in amazement of what I was capable to do. collecting and hauling over 12 bags a week. Taking out the trash, clearing the cabinets, and cleaning the floors became a mission greater than a housekeeping chore.
I wasn’t tired. I felt alive again. I was barely getting by, before my life was put in order again. CABAN can change our preconceived notions of who we are with the power of an earthquake. By Faith we are raised to solid ground. The Cherokee Heron lives a life of perpetual migration, and is a symbol of the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of our past.
Tone 7 is the Peak Energy of Creation. We accomplished a climb of Faith to the top of the pyramid. On 7 Earth/CABAN we hold a Higher Perspective of who we are and what we’re truly capable to do. The Author of our Faith holds the Power to Move us in mysterious ways when our Heart is convicted of the Truth. Faith is born when we are depending on God to see us through.
On Tone 7 we see “all that is” and “all that is not” impossible. Our heart is convicted by Faith to prove what God will do.
AZTEC CALENDAR
Day Ollin (Movement, known as Caban in Maya) is an auspicious day for the active principle, a bad day for the passive principle. Ollin is a day of the purified heart, signifying those moments where human beings may perceive what they are becoming. A good day for transmutation, which arrives like an earthquake that leaves in its wake the ruins of rationality, order and the preconceived.
The thirteen day period (trecena) that starts with day 1-Ozomahtli (Monkey) is a quest for cures of all the various ills that befall us: the quest to obtain power that can overcome misfortune lies at the heart of the warrior’s purpose. The transformation of poison into medicine, and evil into good, is an art whose expression must be tailored to the field of battle. These are good days to fashion a war shield and collect articles for your medicine bundle; bad days to allow infections to fester.
There is a Time we are Called to put on the Full Armor of God. Through our perpetual movement, we know we’ll reach the end by God’s Will. CABAN reflects a position aligned with God’s Will. We work together to reach the end that’s possible. We are open to change our mind about what we need to live and the burdens we can leave behind.
How the Lord changes us is no longer a mystery when we are turned to the life that was destined to be. Today is the Time to know the Power of Faith to move us. Today we can accept the Truth that the Time to Rest wasn’t wasted. The Lord was reserving our energy for a Time such as this. What we thought was “bad” was a “good thing” all along.
The Ollin symbol lies at the center of the Aztec calendar stone. The Ollin marks 20 places in Time where we are called by the Truth. In the center of the Ollin is the face of K’inich Ahau (by Yucatec language), known as the Brightest Light of the Sun. The expression is similar to the Maori tribes and tradition of the Haka dance. At the Heart of Life is the declaration of the Lord’s Command over Life and Death. CABAN is a Clarion Call to life, to be who we are, and to live with all our heart.
Time is always ordered for our Gratitude and Appreciation of what the Lord can do. God is the final authority. When our Heart is convicted by Faith we know, God’s Will SHALL be. There is a divine purpose in all things, and in all the Times of our Life.
1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

PRAYERS FROM THE SIXTH WATCH – THANKSGIVING ON BEHALF OF THE WHOLE
The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day, AFTER. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find synchronicity in the Time when you look, after your prayers.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
- First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
- Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
- Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
- Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
- Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
- Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer (on behalf of the whole)
- Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
- Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.
Mark 13:33 KJV
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN: THE DAWN OF OUR CREATION

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
It only takes 13 days to see how a Divine Intention set at the beginning, always end with the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts to stay on course. Often the matters on your mind follow the divine order of Time as the meaning of every Day.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th seasons to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
Monkey/CHUEN is the first trecena in the 3rd Season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 2.1 Monkey/CHUEN begins at the Center of the “core days”, the 7th uinal of Creation.
NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration for this chapter of Time. If you forget where you are, return to Tone 1 to see the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration.

CORE DAYS
The 7th uinal represents the “Core Days” of Creation. In the Chrysalis of the “galactic butterfly” we become co-creators with the Lord. The Core Days are a time of personal mystery and a transformation on the scale of a caterpillar that is reborn with Wings.
7 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI) – Day 7 of 13, the 1 Monkey/CHUEN trecena of Creation
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), who’s wisdom and Tzolk’in date calculator is preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.
A GOOD DAY TO: Give thanks to Mother Earth for all her gifts.
Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement and perpetual motion, Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way. “The Northern Cross is the Tree of Life, Beside the Milky Way River & Perched atop is Guwi’ sguwi, the Cherokee Heron Spirit Bird, comparable to the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of the past.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
