A Testimony to Mother Earth: 10 Earth/CABAN

Greetings Kin,

I was deeply touched by this post about Mother Earth and the beauty found by children in the small places of Mother Nature.

Primary Experiences in Nature

by Laura Grace Weldon

“These places may seem inconsequential to adults, who tend to view nature as somewhere else, somewhere pristine and unspoiled. In reality nature is constantly around us and in us. Giving kids freedom to explore, observe, play, and get dirty allows them to make these tiny places a whole universe.”

10 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI)

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.

Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement and perpetual motion, Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way. “The Northern Cross is the Tree of Life, Beside the Milky Way River & Perched atop is Guwi’ sguwi, the Cherokee Heron Spirit Bird, comparable to the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of the past.

10 Earth / CABAN – A Divine Gift of Ascension: Day 10 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

10 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 10 is the Day of Manifestation. Under the trecena of Star/LAMAT our Spiritual Harvest will be Multiplied to Abundance.

10 Earth/CABAN is a Manifestation of Movement. We have been learning to Move by Intention, making a choice of how we would Love to Experience our Life on Mother Earth. We chose to live by the unlimited possibilities of our Spirit, instead of our Human limitations.

Manifestation is a Great Blessings with a Great Responsibility. We will only manifest what we Believe and Claim as True. The Aztec mark the days of Ollin (Earth/CABAN) as a Time and Place where we are offered a Vision of what we are Becoming. Like Mother Earth, we’ve turned our Self around. Over the Tzolk’in round, we’ve been rotating through all 4 directions. We’ve looked at 13 Sacred Steps to Creation through 20 different Divine Perspectives of Being. There’s no way we would be the same after intending to see things in so many different ways. The manifestation of seeing our Earthly Experience in new way is the inevitable result.

Another inevitable result would be seeing one another in a new way. We’d recognize the blessings that every perspective could bring. We could see the Blessing of being different. Unconditional Love offers Human the freedom to be anything we choose. Knowing an Eternal Love, we could see our “different way” as an Expression of Love that is all of our own making. A new world is born to us by the Wisdom of our own Experience.

8 Earth / CABAN – A Manifestation of Love: Day 8 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

8 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 8 holds the Intention of the Justice of Harmony and Equity. 8 is the number of “pure spirit” and the Tone that begins the trecena’s phase of Transformation through Tone 8-13. The energy of an upward climb shifts to a descent. Through a Divine Intervention we are drawn forward by an Unseen Force of Spirit.

8 Earth/CABAN (8 No’j) is a Holy Day celebrated as the “Day of Awareness/Knowledge.” The Aztec refer to 8 Ollin (Earth) as the “Day of the Purified Heart”, signifying those moments when Humans hold the Consciousness to Perceive what they are becoming.

In the last trecena Earth/CABAN inspired us to draw close to Mother Earth, and to see our Self as One in the Consciousness of a Creation of Love. CABAN brought the Inspiration to Move in an Intention of Love. The Dog/OC trecena is the cycle of application that follows to offer us the Wisdom of the Experience. Earth/CABAN returning in the 8th Tone reflects its zenith position of Illumination. Divine Inspiration and Human Intention are drawn together as the Sacred Exchange that begins a Transformation.

8 Earth/CABAN can help us clearly see our Destiny on Earth and our Divine Purpose for Being. Our Destiny is the Pilgrimage of Life on Earth, an Expedition of Love. CABAN reminds us that we are One with Mother Earth, the source of everything Human could ever Know. We are made of Earth and hold all the same Elements and Forces of Being. Just as Earth is capable to draw our Consciousness, so does Human hold the Force to draw the Justice of Harmony.

7 Earth / CABAN – Dawn of Creation: Day 7 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

7 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 7 holds the Intention of Balance between the Above and the Below. “As Above, So Below” is the Great Law of Creation. What is created in one realm of Consciousness is balanced in all others. This Universal Law illustrates that a construct from our Imagination, holds potential to be Created in the realm of physicality.

A Journey of Intention will always carry us to someplace new. A Journey in Spirit leads a Journey of experience below. Following a course of thought is the Journey of Creation.

Earth/CABAN is the symbol of Mother Earth as a body that is always in motion. Movement creates Time. Without Time, the Creator existed as the Omega, the Whole of everything all at once. Movement creates Time that allows for the discern of an experience in the moment.

Mother Earth’s movement offers an experience of Darkness and Light. We would Know One by our experience of the other. Without Earth’s movement there would be no Harmony or Equity. For some, the Light would always Be, and for others the Darkness would always Be. Some would never experience a Sunrise, only a Beginning and End in Darkness. Through movement, Mother Earth fulfills a Divine Intention of Harmony and Equity for the Whole. Earth’s movement is perfect. If her sole pattern of movement was simply rotation, it wouldn’t accomplish the Intention. Leaning to and fro, her movement creates the Seasons that complete a planetary cycle of Light. Without the Winter, we would never know the Spring. We would never see a before or after, cause and effect, a beginning nor an end. There would never be a way to see One thing, only the All in One.

13 Earth / CABAN – Ascension: Day 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

13 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

On Tone 13 of Ascension, the Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena completes a Transformation of Spirit. Number 13 reflects the power of theurgy, our ability to call on Divine Intervention through ritual and sacred ceremony. 13 is the Truth of a Divine Communion and the Power of our Prayers.

With each cycle of Growth and Transformation, on each Tone 13, we hold Higher Evidence of this Truth. Our Faith grows every time we make this Journey of Transformation in the company of the Creator.

13 Earth/CABAN was the promise waiting at our Ascension that all our Knowledge would be gathered together. The Ending was promised from the Beginning. The K’iche Day Sign is N’oj, a symbol of ALL Knowledge and ALL faculties of Knowing.

Earth/CABAN is a symbol of Movement, as are the Cherokee and Aztec symbols. The Cherokee Heron is a bird of perpetual migration, always moving to the next Higher Ground, and the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of its past. The Aztec Ollin simply means Movement, the symbol illustrated at the center circle of the Aztec stone calendar.

The 13 days of the trecena define 13 Intentions, 13 Sacred Movements of Creation. We can create anything by following these steps. The 20 Day Signs represents perspectives through which we can carry out each Intention. All 20 reflect the All-in-One, from the Alpha to the Omega, Sun/AHAU, the symbol of a Supreme Creator.

The 13 Intentions relate to 13 major joints in the Human body (1 neck, 2 shoulders, 2 elbows, 2 wrists, 2 hips, 2 knees, and 2 ankles), all the ways that Human moves. Human is created from the 13th Chromosome shared by each of our parents. 20 represents our ways of Discernment. Counting fingers and toes reflects Human’s gift of intelligence. Together, the Whole of the Tzolk’in Human calendar reflects 13 intentions of thought, and 20 ways to perceive it (13 x 20 = 260 days), a meaning for 9 months of creation, all the steps of Human Transformation.

On Earth/CABAN we are drawn to see our place in the Universe and How Human is synchronized with Earth’s creation, a cycle of 365 days. What Human creates in 260 days, the Earth creates in 365 days. The Ether of Spirit can be changed in a moment. Matter takes more time. The Elders taught that when we go through major transformations of Spirit, it takes a while for our body to catch up. We have to keep moving beyond the Knowing for the Whole to be Integrated Body and Soul. We have to keep moving to see the change in the world of physicality.

Today we can see the ashes of our past. We can see what had to die for something new to be born. Today we Know we were reborn. Human just needs to wait a little longer to see the new Wings of Spirit that are carrying us to realm of Divine Wisdom.

The 6th Uinal: Momentum, Flow, and Rhythm of Movement
This is very important Ascension, as each of them are. We are Ascending with a new Sense of Movement and a New way of Being. All our moving parts are coordinated in a Divine Rhythm and Flow of Universal Movement, and elevated to a Consciousness of Knowing.

6 Earth / CABAN – Road to a New Destiny: Day 6 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 6 offers the Peak Energy of Flow to establish a rhythm and pattern of Movement. Earth/CABAN is the Day Sign that synchronizes our Movement with Mother Earth.

CABAN draws our awareness to the planetary seasons and cycles that define a Time for Every Purpose. Through the Movement of Mother Earth we experience cycles of darkness and light, seasons of Germination, Growth, Harvest, and  Dormancy.

Road/EB is the Day Sign of Human, raising our consciousness to our own Journey through life. There will always be experiences of “dark” and “light.” Holding Faith that every experience is presented by the design of a Divine Creator, like the Maya, we can see every day as a Sacred Event. We don’t always have a choice in the circumstances presented, though we always hold the Authority of choosing our experience.

Earth/CABAN is the Day Sign of Mother Earth, a Body of Perpetual Movement. CABAN represents the body of nourishment that sustains Human life, and the body of Knowledge from which Human can learn everything we would want to know about Life and the Whole of the Universe. Earth’s sustained movement holds the Balance of its Relationship with the Sun.

Mother Earth embraces us in Her movement, guiding us to go with the Flow. Through Humility and Forgiveness, Earth is capable to move us beyond the darkness of our negative thoughts and behaviors.

12 Earth / CABAN – The Birth of a Savior: Day 12 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

12 is the Tone of Understanding. This is day when disassociated parts come together to establish the Wisdom of a new Experience. This is a day when Knowledge moves from the Head to the Heart.

Earth/CABAN represents Mother Earth, the Creator’s Divine Gift to Humanity. She is the Body that carries us in Womb of Creation. Mother Earth holds the Knowledge for Everything that Human could Understand.

Our bodies are made of her Matter. Our blood is correspondent with the elements of the oceans. We are perpetually transformed by her movement that creates Time and the Opportunity of Experience.

PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether*
12 Earth/CABAN, Kin 77, is a Portal Day that magnifies our experience through a thinning of the veil. Under Tone 12’s Intention of Understanding a Portal can magnify our Understanding.

The Number 77 reflects a magnification of the energies of Tone 7, the Balancing of the Above and the Below. At the top of the pyramid, Tone 7 is the Highest Altar where the Jaguar crosses into the dimension of Spirit. 77 is a Portal of Light and Illumination and Divine Discernment, the ability to Know the difference between Truth and Illusion.

The CIMI trecena promised a Major Life Change. Transformation is a Change of Mind. Tone 12 holds the Intention for us to Understand the Gift of our own Consciousness.
