Power from Above
Lightning has long been respected and feared as an atmospheric flash of supernatural origins. The Greeks feared the Thunderbolt hurled by Zeus. The Vikings defined it as the strike of Thor’s hammer. Indigenous tribes attributed the Feathered Serpent as the source of lightning and thunder. Science considers lightning to be a primary force of Earth’s creation. The duration of a Lightning strike is about 30 microseconds on average. The peak power per strike is about 1012 watts. (NASA: Earth Data)
Lightning is a force brighter and hotter than the Sun. Lightning nourishes Earth with Nitrogen, the building block for life, and turns the Element of Air into Living Water. As an integral part of the Divine Design, the Creator manifested the means to unite Heaven and Earth.
1 John 1:5 KJV
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

THE TRECENA OF EAGLE/MEN: LIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
5 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA), Destiny Kin 239, Position 19
September 18, 2026, 09/18/2026; Time Before: 01/01/2026
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Storm/CAUAC is the Divine Power that finds a path to our heart. Position 19 is a number of God’s Signature that resolves to 10, and also the number Before 20, the symbol of the all-in-one and the Zero of unlimited possibility. CAUAC is the thunderstorm that call us “home” to a sanctuary where we know Peace Beyond all Understanding.

On the Day of CAUAC our Heart is grasped by the One Above. CAUAC shares the Offering of “lightning in the blood”, a Quickening of Spirit the Maya call the Sixth Sense of the Heart. CAUAC represents the renewal and regeneration of Spirit, when we are claimed by the Light.
The glyph illustrates human’s veiled body of consciousness in the SE corner. The circles around it represent those who reach in Faith beyond human understanding. In the NW corner the thundercloud sends Lightning that connects with those who reach in Faith to the One Above.
The last time 5 Storm/CAUAC occurred at the New Year, 01/01/2026, when Earth resided in Perihelion, its closest distance to the Sun. This time Earth is far away, though we’re on our way “home” guided by our Brightest Star. We’ll arrive in Time for a New Birth of Light at Christmas and the Day of Epiphany that follows at our next Perihelion.
5 Storm/CAUAC reflects the promise of the Day of Atonement. Yom Kippur “seal the promise” for the coming year as we are purified through an Offering in the Name of the Father and the Son. Tone 5 is a Day of Empowerment. In the 5th Hour we gather all the tools and materials before we begin “the work” of creation. Tone 5 is a “central and organizing force” that manages resources for their Divine Application.
Our Spirit is restored by the Light as we find comfort in the storm. The Lord is waiting for our return. In about 3 Days the Light will descend the stairs of the Calendar pyramid to mark the Time that leads to the Harvest Moon. The Lord holds the Power to restore our Faith in the future. Knowing the condition of our Heart, the Lord can share a Sign that touches the heart of a matter, so we may know that we are Seen from Above.
Matthew 11:28 KJV
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

10 Days of Repentance Leading to the Day of Atonement
Yom Kippur: Sundown, Sept 20 to Nightfall, Sep 21, 2026
Chabad.org Daily Schedule – Prayers and Psalms for Friday, 7 Tishrei, 5787, September 18, 2026
Ten Days of Repentance
The 10-day period beginning on Rosh Hashanah and ending on Yom Kippur is known as the “Ten Days of Repentance”; this is the period, say the sages, of which the prophet speaks when he proclaims (Isaiah 55:6) “Seek G-d when He is to be found; call on Him when He is near.”
PRAYERS FROM THE FIFTH WATCH – PETITIONS, REACH IN FAITH AND SURRENDER
The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We are called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. Take note of the Time when you are inspired to turn to the Lord. May we remember all those who pray as one when we say Amen.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare
Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.
A GOOD DAY TO: Count your lessons as blessings and your enemies as angels.
Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak.
