Virgabow: A Rainbow on Dry Land

WHAT IS A VIRGABOW? If the ground around you is completely dry, yet you see a rainbow anyway, you might be looking at a virgabow. Erwin Enrique Sandoval Vargas of Coyhaique, Chile, photographed this specimen on Oct 24th:

 

Virga is rain that doesn’t hit the ground. It occurs in dry climates where raindrops evaporate on their way down. You can see the virga in Vargas’s photo right here.

Coyhaique is a great place for virga because of its geographical position on the edge of the Patagonian rain shadow. The region frequently experiences strong winds, which sweep dry continental air beneath incoming clouds. When raindrops try to fall from high cloud decks, they are evaporated in mid-air.

High deserts in the western USA, the Canadian Prairies, and global desert belts are other places where virga can appear. If you see a virgabow, submit your images here.

NO STORMS TODAY: Solar activity is low. The face of the sun is almost blank (only two tiny sunspots), and no CMEs are heading for Earth. The odds of a geomagnetic storm in the next 48 to 72 hours is very low.

Shelter in the Storm

CAUAC is the Peace we know when we find shelter in a storm. A Thunderstorm on the horizon turns our thoughts toward home. Storm/CAUAC represents the Midwife that delivers us to the Light. The Father is always waiting for our return to the Sanctuary within. Like the Father of the prodigal son, he welcomes us with open arms and claims us as his own.

The Truth clears the air. It’s a good Time to open the windows. Release unseen matters that have been weighing on our Heart and Mind. CAUAC is the Truth that sets us free and offers a Renewal and Regeneration of Spirit.

The Lightning of the Storm finds a path to the heart that reaches in Faith. 6 Storm/CAUAC holds Position 19 and Destiny Kin 19 (19:19). 19 is a symbol of the “signature of God”. The 19 Day signs, 1 through 19, are the sum of the Whole of Sun/AHAU. AHAU is the zero point from which we can begin again, free of the past.

Our worst fears are over. The Light breaks through the Darkness and we discover our Faith was enough to see us through. Tone 6 represents the Balance of a Divine Trinity Above and Below. We feel the Wind at our back. A Rhythm and Pattern of movement creates the Momentum of Faith to carry on, knowing God will always be there.

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. 

October 28, 2026 – Lunar Occultation of the Pleiades.

Mercury retrograde offers a reflection on the past and what we might have done to change today and tomorrow. The Father’s love is Unconditional. The Father is with us even when we can’t see the Light. October 28 completes the 3rd Day we “see a Full Moon”.
