SPACEWEATHER: Hours Long X-Class Solar Flare

X1.5-Class Eruption, Likely Earth-directed

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 03/30/2026

LONG DURATION X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE: Growing sunspot 4405 erupted again on March 30th, producing an X1.5-class solar flare. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the hours-long explosion:

SPACEWEATHER: Pi Day Storm Watch; Comets vs Starlink

Looking Forward to the Perfect Circle: Pi, 3:14

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 03/11/2026

PI DAY GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH: Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible on March 14th (Pi Day) when a stream of solar wind is expected to hit Earth’s magnetic field. The gaseous material is flowing from a long narrow hole in the sun’s atmosphere.

SPACEWEATHER: M4-Class Solar from Sunspot 4317; and Colors of Vega

More Than What Appears To Be

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS 12/29/2025

EARTH-DIRECTED SOLAR FLARE AND CME: Sunspot 4317 was not considered to be a threat for flares–but it erupted anyway. On Dec. 28th (2239 UTC), the sunspot produced an M4-class solar flare shown here in a movie from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory.

SPACEWEATHER: Solstice Analemma and Christmas Lights

Solstice on the lake, Taken by Paolo Bardelli on December 20, 2021 @ Schiranna (Varese), Italy

The Sun’s Course, and Auroras in the Forecast

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 12/21/2025

A SOLSTICE ANALEMMA: If you took a picture of the sun at the same time each day, would it remain in the same position? The answer is “no”, and the figure-8 shape traced out by the sun over the course of a year is called an analemma.

Italian photographer Paolo Bardelli stitched together 48 pictures spanning 12 months to reveal the analemma over Lake Varese. The low-hanging solstice sun is highlighted.

SPACEWEATHER: CME Possible Today; Stronger Storms Likely

Solar Cycle 25 Far from Finished

“Statistically speaking, the declining phases of solar cycles are when some of the strongest storms occur.”

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 11/16/2025

X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE AND CME: Sunspot 4274 erupted again yesterday, producing a powerful X4-class solar flare. Unlike previous explosions, this one was not directly facing Earth. Most of the CME will miss our planet. Even so, a glancing blow is possible on Nov. 16th. NOAA forecasters have issued a G1-class geomagnetic storm watch for Nov. 16th and 17th.

Unconditional Love: The Morning Chorus (9 Flint/ETZNAB)

Truth: Song of the King’s Uni-Verse

All things Rise to the Light of God’s New Day. Heaven and ALL Living Spirits Worship his Name. God’s Divine Justice makes All Living Spirits accountable to the Truth, including the animals.

Genesis 9:4-6

4 “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. 5 And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.

6 “Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;
for in the image of God
has God made mankind.

SPACEWEATHER: Earth Exiting the Solar Wind; Shark Fin Aurora

The Light Making Waves

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 09/26/2025

SHARK’S FIN AURORA: On Sept. 22nd, photographer Karsten Berger of High Level, Alberta, captured a striking auroral shape: a razor-sharp green triangle jutting into the night like the fin of a shark. It may have been the crest of a breaking Kelvin-Helmholtz (K-H) wave:

SPACEWEATHER: Potential for CIR on the Equinox; Growing Light of Comet 3I/ATLAS

Accelerating Solar Winds from the Butterfly Coronal Hole

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 09/19/2025

PERFECT TIMING FOR A CIR: A co-rotating interaction region (CIR) could hit Earth on Sept. 22nd. If so, it would be perfect timing. Sept. 22nd is the northern autumnal equinox. Thanks to the “Russell-McPherron effect,” even small disturbances in the solar wind can spark equinox geomagnetic storms. Stay tuned for fall colors.

SPACEWEATHER: Signs and Solar Winds

Surprise Storms and Coronal Hole Winds on the Way

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 09/10/2025

SURPRISE GEOMAGNETIC STORM: This wasn’t in the forecast. A G2-class geomagnetic storm broke out during the late hours of Sept. 9th. Why? It’s the “Russell-McPherron effect.” At this time of year, around the northern autumnal equinox, the sun’s magnetic field can become connected to Earth’s, sparking unpredictable geomagnetic storms. Happy Equinox!
