Angels Declare the Battle Won

Matthew 26:53 KJV
53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

In the Roman military a “legion” was the count of available warriors prepared and ready for defense. A single legion was considered to be 6,000. Matthew’s reference to 12 legions is a count of 72,000 angels, symbolic of a massive heavenly force rather than a precise count. On the Day of the Lord we are surrounded to provide Human a Day of Rest.

Faith is the battle born on human shoulders the rest of the week. In the Sanctuary within the Lord’s Day is a Light of Illumination that the battle is won. On the Lord’s Day the Truth flows as Living Water.
