NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO APPEAR IN APRIL: The correct season for noctilucent clouds (NLCs) is summer, when sun-warmed plumes of water vapor rise to the edge of space and crystallize around disintegrated meteoroids.
