MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 represents the day of our new transformation. This is the day when our new Truth sinks in. We are forever changed by something we will see that can never be unseen.
We are given the Brightest Light by Sun/AHAU who calls us to open our eyes to the Truth. Sun not only illuminates that which is the shadows, but can also help us see what is hidden in plain sight.
Sun is the Expert of Higher Guidance and the Hero who encourages us to live up to our own potential. Whatever Truth may unfold, we are guided to look beyond our initial understanding to its potential to transform the experiences of a new journey.
Ahau is a Day Sign of the South, the direction of our first relationships with one another and with the Natural World. Our Hearts are Open so that our Earthly walk may be transformed into a thing of beauty and a greater blessing to all.
September 11th calls us to Honor our Heroes, both the two-legged and four-legged who serve, those who are lost, and the Heroes who still carry on holding their memory. 12 Sun/AHAU is also the Kin of Ian Lungold, who, through his work to establish the Mayan calendar conversion codex, helped to bring the Light of the Tzolk’in Calendar to a new generation.
To all my relations, may we be open to see something new as well as something old in a new way. May we rise to the example of Sun/AHAU to become like the Hero with the Warrior Spirit. May we dispel the darkness for someone else by the Light of our own Encouragement.

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC
12 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. Twelve is a gift of great capacity of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
The Trecena Guide: 13-Day forecast of daily energies for the Offering/MULUC trecena.
Ceremony Page: Teachings from Minisa Crumbo Halsey from the sacred Medicine Wheel path.
