MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 6 is our entry into the Peak Energies of the Eagle/MEN trecena. We have been investing our energy in an upward climb toward the top of a pyramid. We’re almost there.
Tone 6 facilitates dynamic developments. The energy of Tone 6 is compared to a great athlete in motion who finds their stride through a negotiation of timing, rhythm, and effort.
We are guided by Sun/AHAU, the symbol of our Guiding Light, the Creator, and the Spirit of the Ancient Ones. Sun/AHAU shines the light on who we are, who we are becoming, and who we can be.
This is a day to Give Thanks for our Inheritance of the Wisdom of our Ancestors and to know we are still connected to their guidance. Our success has been made possible by their wisdom.
Sun/AHAU has a special affinity with Eagle. As Eagle calls us to reach for our Highest Aspiration. Sun’s own Highest Aspiration is to lead the Sacred Journey of Human’s Enlightenment. The Highest Intention of the Creator is to lead us to our Joy.
Sun/AHAU is a mental day of psychological tests and challenges. Sun brings the glaring Truth of reality to both the darkness and the light. We have an opportunity to see who we are and what we are capable of.
Our only warning is that we are so Powerful that there is potential for corruption. We are asked to guard ourselves against the evils of the ego. With Power comes responsibility and we have potential to lose what we gain unless we stand in our own Integrity.
To all my relations, may we ask ourselves – “Who am I, who am I becoming, and Who Can I Be? May we have the courage, tenacity, and Intention to be everything we can be, knowing our Power is welded through a Divine Collaboration.

THE TRECENA OF EAGLE/MEN
6 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
