MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
On the Holy Day of the IMIX trecena we are reminded by Star/LAMAT that we are the Personification of Light. Peak Tone 8 brings the Intention of Justice through an exchange of Divine Reciprocity. We are all seen equally in our own Light.
The IMIX trecena is referred to as the “trecena of the mind.” We are being guided to an understanding of the Higher Use of our mind. The out-of-the-blue ideas presented by IMIX are helping to call attention to our own thoughts.
On the last 8 Star/LAMAT I discovered the WordPress scheduler. I realized I had created my own “rule” that the journal must be written after midnight. I can’t believe I got up at 3am for 4 months to finish writing before it was time to go to work… all based on a Subconscious Rule I never questioned. Once I recognized it, I saw a whole bunch of other stupid rules. I was making my Dream harder to reach than it had to be.
It’s part of our Nature to try to figure things out. This is a talent best applied to math or science. When we use the Intellect of our Mind, we rely on Common SENSE. We instinctively know when we’re moving forward, standing still, or falling backward. Through this Light of Innovation, IMIX is teaching us to participate in our Transformation by tracking our own thoughts. We are all guided by our Inner Voice. We can discern Divine Spirit from our Shadow as we train ourselves to listen-in to our own Inner Conversation.
It’s the Reasoning Mind of our Shadow that travels into the future and places all the roadblocks in advance… proving the reasons we could fail. Though, our Shadow doesn’t give us credit for our own changes. The “evidence” of potential failure is based on someone we were before.
8 Star/LAMAT is a Holy Day that engages Divine Intervention. We pushed our way to the top of the pyramid. Energy shifts as we are now drawn toward our next Higher Level of Consciousness. Our courage and effort will be matched by a Divine Agency. Divine Justice doesn’t measure the effort of Doing, but the effort of Being.
Again, we are blessed with the New Life and New Energy represented by Totem Rabbit. This is the energy that multiplies what we focus on to abundance. Star’s Light shines in all directions so that we equally receive its blessing. Star and Tone 8 share an affinity for keeping equal balance.
To all my relations, may we celebrate the energy we invested in Being. May we understand we tap into our “creative genius” as we listen to the guidance of our own Common Sense. May we see ourselves among the Stars as reflections of a Holy Light that shines brighter with each new revelation.

8 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below.” From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion (a first-generation descendant) of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
