MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
On the Peak Tone 9 the Jaguar/IX trecena positions us to see a broader view. Through the Element of Air, Wind/IK reminds us of our Intimate Connection in every breath.
Wind/IK is the Holy Communion with Spirit and the Source of the Power of Creation. On the path of an Awakening, we are reminded of the Power of Sacred Breath.
GREEN DAY: ELEMENT OF ETHER
9 Wind/IK, Kin 22 is a portal day that represents a thinning of the veil that opens a channel to other dimensions. Portal days represent the Element of Ether, the substance of Divine Spirit, and magnifies our experience.
Tone 9 brings the Patience to look for a Deeper Understanding. On our upward climb we focused on the weight we personally carry. As we move in Correspondence with Divine Agency, our Transformation begins as we see ourselves in Relationship with the Whole. Tone 9 helps us to see how the Intentions we seek for our own behalf, are given a Divine Purpose to serve the Whole.
Wind/IK calls awareness to the dissemination of Spirit and the Power Inherent in our Spoken Words. If we say we are divided, we Are. If we say times are hopeless, they Are. If we say we have come together at a Divine Turning Point, we Have. We have the Power to Choose.
Through our words we have the power to build a bridge between our differences. One of the greatest gifts we can offer to one another are the words, “I understand.” We don’t have to agree to understand. Nor does understanding mean we must sacrifice our own Truth. Our Sense of powerlessness dissolves when we know we are seen and heard.
When we Listen with the Intention to understand, we can always learn something new about each other. Our Creator receives our supplications, regardless of our State of Mind. When we listen with Love, we hear beyond the words to the Desire for Unity.
Wind/IK’s Position 2 and Tone 22, illustrate the Number 222. Number 22 is the Master Builder Number that resonates with ancient wisdom and the energy of transformation. Number 2 lends its influences of faith, encouragement, co-operation, balance and harmony. Number 222 relates to balance, manifesting miracles and new auspicious and timely opportunities. [Sacred Scribes]
We are called to stand on the Truth that our troubles are only temporary. When we remember the gift of Divine Grace, we can hold to the Faith we are being led to a Restoration of Spirit for the Highest Good of All.
Wind/IK symbolizes the breath of life and the Sacred Breath of Spirit. We are all connected in the sacred breath of our prayers.
To all my relations, may we disseminate the words that build the bridge of understanding. As Spiritual Warriors may we be vigilant in our effort to Listen, so we may spread the Words of Love and Understanding that serve the Highest Purpose for the Whole.

9 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
