MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 6 helps us to establish a rhythm and pattern of movement as the energy compared to a great athlete in motion. This is a day to harness our own Power for the dynamic developments underway.
Seed/KAN is the Day Sign the holds all the potential of becoming. Seed represents fertility, reproduction, and a containment of Life Force. Gifted by Night/AKBAL with the Power to Dream we are called to invest something of our own effort to move ourselves in the direction of a Spiritual Regeneration.
Seed/KAN encourages us to prepare the way for a Revival. “Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past.” We are tending a garden where our Spirit can Grow unrestricted by any entanglements. As a Yellow Day Sign, Seed presents a real life application that completes an understanding.
To reap the Full Harvest of our Spirit’s Revival, we have to be present in the moment. As we cultivate a place where we could grow, part of our work would be to discard old ways that serve only as a distraction. This pattern of movement is the Force of Energy within the Seed that pushes the Evidence of Life from the darkness of the soil to reach the Light. The Seed is our everyday-evidence of Miracles. Regardless of its surroundings, when it meets fertile soil, many obstacles may be overcome by it’s own Power. When we consider the places a Seed is capable to grow, we might compare its Force of Energy to the Human Power required to push beyond the same obstacle.
The Pattern of Movement that 6 Seed/KAN would encourage is the ongoing cultivation of our Garden. As we become conscious of habits and patterns that inhibit our growth, we respond with an effort of clearing away. As obstacles are removed, a Seed is offered a place to create its greatest abundance.
The Cherokee Day Sign of the Dragon. “Dragon Energy” refers to the magnetic energy found in Ley Lines (Dragon Lines) and vortexes, known as “orgone energy” or “pyramid power.” This is the Power generated by our Sacred Intention. Through an intention of making a way, our own Life Force is ignited to push beyond our own obstacles.
Our Seed also requires a source of nourishment. The sustenance for our Intention is drawn from a Spirit of Gratitude. We can remember the Jaguar’s source of magic is derived from its deep gratitude and appreciation for Mother Earth. The Dragon holds the Power of a Frequency of Vibration. Through our gratitude, we are attuned to the Heartbeat of the Mother.
As a “Dark” Day Sign Seed/KAN presents us with an opportunity for new growth and understanding through an Application of Personal Effort. As we complete the work of Doing what we Know to Do, something newly understood can be elevated from Knowledge to Personal Wisdom.
To all my relations, may we recognize those attachments that serve no better purpose than to stand in our way. May we hold the Spirit of Gratitude that our obstructions can be cleared away. May we look for an opening that would present the fertile soil for our Spirit to Blossom, and summon our own Life Force to do something we are called to Do. May we draw new Wisdom from an action capable to produce a dynamic development that demonstrates the Law of Cause and Effect.

6 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy,” pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
