MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Trecena of Offering/MULUC – A Healing of Atonement
Tone 10 is a day of Manifestation. In the MULUC trecena’s Journey as One we are positioned to Manifest a Realization of Oneness. Based on our Wisdom of Forgiveness and the Promise of Oneness in Offering Our Self, we can realize a Divine Agency is only waiting for us to make the call. MULUC engages a Language of the Heart that is the dialogue of a Divine Relationship.
Flint/ETZNAB is the Day Sign that delivers Truth like a lightning strike. Through a Divine Revelation, Flint reflects Light on our Darkness to “wipe the slate clean.”
Tone 10 presents us with a potential blessing that comes with a responsibility. In order to Manifest our new Truth, we must see it and claim it for our Self. This is a very important day of Manifestation as it relates to our acquisition of Divine Wisdom.
PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether – 10 Flint/ETZNAB (Kin 218) is a portal that thins the veil to the dimension of Spirit. This is a day when are able to discern the realness of our Spiritual Gifts. Flint/ETZNAB is a Day Sign that can leave a big impression on its own. A Portal Day magnifies ETZNAB’s powerful ability to drive a point home.
11th Uinal of Resolution – We are nearing the completion of the 11th Uinal that holds a Higher Intention of Resolution. Number 11 is a place of clarity and blooming that is associated with the Goddess of Birth. This is a uinal that draws upon the whole of the Tzolk’in round (260 days) and presents the “final piece” necessary to complete a New Understanding. You could compare the energy of Resolution to the last scene of a mystery. All the clues are finally seen in absolute clarity. We could expect a memorable Unfolding of Truth.
Master Number 11: Eleven is a symbol of Spiritual Awakening and Enlightenment. It exemplifies the highest aspirations, high energy intuition, vision, self-expression and mysticism. Number 11 tells us that to connect with our higher-selves is to know and live our soul mission and life purpose. ~Angel Numbers, Sacred Scribes
Flint/ETZNAB’s ability to capture our attention will present us with a new and Undeniable Truth. Once we see it, a stronghold of darkness can be swept away. Flint/ETZNAB is a day of the unexpected… Flint does whatever it takes to capture our attention. Flint is a day that we are advised to take precaution. It is said to present the Temptation to “act out of character.” In truth, Flint reflects the Truth that only comes out in our darker moments. Flint can coax out of the corner the parts of ourselves we were afraid to look at – our deepest fears. We could clearly see how our own Sense of Character has been defined by an auto-response from the Illusion of our Ego.
This is the illusion that we are “unworthy” and that there is something inherently out of order with the Self we want to be. It holds the illusion that no matter how hard we try, there is a part of us that seems to go its own way – outside of our Intention or Control. Our perception that we are held back against our Higher Will can be brought to Light and Swept Away.
On any Journey of Self-Improvement, we are told to “think positive” and that we “create our own happiness.” Our Ego sees this as a Grave Responsibility. I can remember how in my darker days, as I sought to be One with the Creator, these “darker thoughts” were in control. When I re-experienced feelings of Fear and Powerlessness, there was a Sense that I had lost hold of Higher Ground that I had worked so hard to accomplish. It felt as if I was constantly being returned back to square one. I wondered how I could ever Manifest Peace and Joy with these thoughts that returned to sabotage everything I had worked for. I was at war with my own Ego. What I finally learned was that all the sticky notes with affirmation were ineffective in the ultimate conquest over this darker side of myself. Walking as One, we can be totally cleared of this Emotional Burden.
Flint can break through the Stronghold – the struggle between our Ego and our Higher Self. With our Intellect we can consider our two ways of thinking. We’ve been introduced to Human’s duality of nature. It’s demonstrated in our physical symmetry, in the two sides of our brain that work in equal yet opposite ways, in our left/right way of movement, and in our way of comparing one thing to another. We are both Spiritual and Physical Beings and within us we hold two Sources of Consciousness.
Our lower Self is the Ego that is worthy to serve survival. Our “fight or flight” is a finely tuned signal that operates automatically. Its purpose is to sense threats of personal danger. It takes vigilant observation to realize this is “Not Who We Are,” but only a tool for staying alive. Our Higher Self is our True Identity. Our Higher Self was designed to be the Master, as the Source that’s One with the Creator. We could think of the difference between the body and the soul.
The “alarming voice” is part of the Human Nature and not the Substance of our True Spirit. When we are walking with the Creator, we operate from our Higher Self. With each engagement in a Divine Communion, we can see that our Higher Self is the Source of Discernment that can see past the Ego’s illusion. When we are elevated to Divine Wisdom – our Ego will lose its grip. This is an Understanding that allows us to walk in the Truth of Who We Are.
The Fear of our Ego is the automatic engine light that sometimes comes on when nothing is wrong. The Higher Self is the Source intended for the Discernment. We only have to pay attention to know that Fear is NOT the Voice of our Spirit.
When we see the Ego is not a reflection of who We Really Are, we are Masters of our Own Universe. We were made in the image of the Creator, capable to Manifest our Intentions. We are so powerful that we can’t be shown overnight. With great power comes the potential for corruption. This is the reason that the Ancient Mysteries are veiled in secrecy. Only on a Journey as One, tracking our thoughts, are we capable to Hold our Power with Integrity.
To Manifest our Truth of Oneness we have to see it to claim it. ETZNAB is also symbolized as the Obsidian Mirror (Mirror is another name for Etznab). We can see the perfect reflection of who We Are when we close our eyes and see the truth of our Ethereal Being. A Journey as One means we are One and the Same. The Creator is the Divine Consciousness that we connect to through an Offering of our Free Will.
To all my relations, may we not Fear the Truth that Etznab would bring. The Truth never hurts as bad as the illusion behind the fear. May we not take ourselves so seriously when negative thoughts pass by. They are only a flashing light that needs some maintenance and discernment by our Higher Self. Instead of being gripped by fear, we can discern where it came from. May Flint’s Revelation be Magnified so it’s easy to see. And may we Love the Ego for being the Protector it was intended to be. It’s just doing its job. May we know that Every Thing is Healed when it is Acknowledged with Unconditional Love.

10 Flint/ETZNAB (Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA)
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidents, misunderstandings and gossip.
Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Flint’s symbol is Chawa’ or Castor of the Castor and Pollux Twins in Gemini. Castor appears in the evening personifying darkness. Pollux then appears in the east at dawn to end the night. Totem is a Flint Knife. Flint spirit shone a light like the sun and gave the people the Sacred Venus Calendar, fixed the days and promised to watch over the earthlings. A flint person endeavors to keep that covenant. Opener of the Way, a creator, innovator, stretches the mind to outside limits of capabilities. Changes the static to the dynamic. Brings about change, often through separation and destruction. Beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth as a crystal sword cast down along the path of a lightning flash. The transformer brings things to a head and wipes the slate clean.
