MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The peak energy of Tone 6 establishes a rhythm and flow of movement that is compared to a great athlete in motion. On Tone 6, a way of movement can become second nature. Like a dancer who has learned all the steps, movements are coordinated without thought to become a personal expression of art.
In IMIX’s trecena of New Awakening, Transformer/CIMI guides to adopt the flow of change. CIMI is the sign of the Clairvoyant. As we adopt a pattern of movement, we are able to envision and predict our own future outcomes.
The CIMI glyph illustrates the face of death, symbolizing that something always dies as something new is born. Our awareness is drawn to our perpetual process of personal evolution. We are changed by every experience of living. Something of our old self dies, as our new self is born.
Tone 6 presents the peak energy that will help us reach the “top of the pyramid” the peak of our new climb of Spiritual Growth. CIMI shows us how we can apply the Serpent’s fluidity of movement by anticipating our own change.
CIMI helps us to overcome our resistance to change by drawing our awareness to a Truth that we are Always Changing. Even our Truth can change from one day to the next from our new experiences of living. CIMI shows us how by embracing change, we can rely on a rhythm and flow in our process of transformation.
CIMI is a Sign of a major life change in progress. The chaos we experience when we are mid-way between one state of being and another is normal and natural. Like water stirred up, only when equilibrium is restored do we see the true reflection. Our chaos may hold no resemblance at all to the final image.
CIMI is the Day Sign of the caretaker and helper who would guide Human through life’s major transitions. CIMI sees the beginning, the middle, and the end and knows what to expect. CIMI brings comfort when the chaos prevents us from seeing the clear picture. As the midwife, CIMI holds the image of the higher purpose and can ease our fear of a future we’re unable to see in the moment.
Transformer/CIMI reminds us that we’re never left alone in the process of our transformation. A provision was made for us. CIMI brings the comfort that allows us to let go and except our experience of chaos as a natural process. We can move on and move forward through change instead of clinging to the false security of the way things were.
CIMI’s gift of Clairvoyance offers the ability to know exactly what to do in the moment. CIMI is even-minded through change, tending to the needs of the moment and dealing with the next moment in its own time. By following the ways of CIMI we will find Peace and Comfort in the moment. We don’t have to figure out the future – the answers will present themselves as they are needed. The Transformer is helping us to make an adjustment so we could experience Change as our New Normal.
The work of this trecena is nearly accomplished. This is a time to let go of past regrets. They may surface for discernment. It is right and good to move on. We have to give ourselves the permission to change, and the acknowledgement that we have changed.
This is a time to be the helper through change for someone else. Our most important effort is to recognize that we aren’t alone in these changes. Everyone is feeling their effect. Our greatest service to one another is our patience, forbearance, and unconditional love. We can die to our old way of seeing others. The Serpent demonstrated how we are constricted, when backed into a corner. We help others through change, when we can cease making the characterizations about “who they are.” Our judgement is based on a momentary snapshot of something in motion… a static image of something dynamic. We can find out that we weren’t as divided as we feared.
To all my relations, as we consider how uncomfortable change can be, may we know how much our Love is needed. The smallest Light is capable of dispelling the greatest darkness. May we be the comforter that would bring the message to those around us that everything is going to be okay. CIMI would have us look at the parts of our self that no longer exist, and the transformation that has already been accomplished. Sharing the gift of Clairvoyance, CIMI can help us see and hold a vision of our future. We no longer have to fear our steps, when we remember we are being led. May letting go of the old to embrace the new be our new pattern of movement that becomes second nature. Then we can focus on the dream, relying on instinct and momentum to carry us there.

6 Transformer/CIMI (Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others. Transformers can have the ability to send evil intentions telepathically, this is their undoing. From these acts they lose power, easily fall into a victim role and begin to manipulate with a vengeance.
Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA: Twins symbolize the Female Sun and Male Moon, whose union keeps the world going round. Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the TWINS. The energy brings major changes all throughout life, riding the tsunamis of earthquake and upheaval, making their own waves wherever they go. They undergo powerful transformations, alternating like a flashing neon sign. The challenge is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.
