MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Galactic Tone 11 brings resolution to a new understanding. Tone 11 brings clarity to how a new Truth would fit into our life.
Star/LAMAT reminds us that we were created as the Personification of Light. We are made of stars and each given our own Light to Shine. No two stars shine the same. Today we can find our place among the Stars where we would emit the Light of our True Identity.
We have been collaborators in our own Healing, holding the Will to Know the Truth of our Power. Today we are empowered to shine our Light.
Star/LAMAT is said to be the Day Sign of “pure luck.” Whatever we focus will be Magnified to Abundance. Focusing energy through the Power of our Authority, we can see it multiply. Star/LAMAT is a Yellow Day Sign of the South, the direction of our relationships. A new abundance may be made possible by the help of a collaborator.
Our Biggest Changes are a long-time coming. We likely felt their calling long before they surfaced as the focus of our Sacred Intention. Our Transformation is accomplished in small incremental changes we hardly recognize. Little-by-little we outgrow our old ways, and little-by-little we experience an increasing conflict in the expression of our authenticity. Initially, we avoid conflict by pushing small issues to the back burner. Flint forces a Healing by raising all the facts to the surface.
We are positioned to receive a Gift of Abundance that evidences the Power of our new “I Am.” LAMAT reflects that we are a Star in our own Universe, made to shine our Light equally in all directions. LAMAT also warns against giving all our Light away, as we can become weakened and collapse unto our Self.
The Balancing energy of the 7th uinal helps us to see the importance of an Equal Exchange. When we give our Light to a “dark hole” we are threatened to burn out. Star reminds us that our place in the universe is among other Stars who all shine together.
Tone 11 is the day that the shaman climb to the Highest Altar to receive a Higher Discernment of Truth. As a symbol of relationship, Star reminds us of the importance of positioning ourselves where there is a balance between give and take. We can only give our Light to an “empty well” for so long. When it no longer becomes a pleasure to give, we distort our own experience of Love.
We might reflect on relationships where others turn to us for their answers. We do harm to ourselves and others, when we serve as the only Light. We also run the risk of the ego, discerning that our wisdom is greater than someone else.
I learned in counseling long ago about my tendency then to be the “caretaker.” I’d always thought it was a good thing, stepping in to ensure the optimum result. What I learned was “caretaking” can send the message that we perceive that the receiver is incapable to do something for themselves. Each must learn their own Power through the same incremental steps of self-understanding. Caretaking also suggests we know what’s right for someone else. We’ve learned that our own Strength was born from relying on our own Discernment of Truth as we are capable to understand it today. In truth we are not giving, but drawing others away from an experience of their own Light.
There is nothing of the world to validate what we must claim for our Self. When we find ourselves engaged in an “all-out, last ditch effort,” we’ve actually reached a point of arrival – the threshold at which we MUST integrate our own change.
Rabbit is a caldron of creation, filled with the energy of multiplication, birth, and reproduction. The Master Number 11 is defined as a number of “instant manifestation.” This energy holds great responsibility.
This is a day to rely on Higher Power. We can release any fear we might hold, by calling on Divine Intervention. This is a day to ask that we be guided by Divine Agency. My strategy for Star/LAMAT is to present my prayers of Intention early in the day, asking that Divine Agency hold this focus on my behalf. In an equal exchange we can stand in agreement with one another’s Truth.
To all my relations, may we shine a Light to others that would help them see their own Light. May we Acknowledge the value of the experiences we must go through to come to our own realization. We can shine a light on the way, but the Choices of doing what is necessary are a personal decision. May we remember that God’s Will always returns a Higher Outcome. May we know that “Thy Will be Done,” is never the consolation prize. May we see the Truth that “Divine Will” multiplies our Blessings to Abundance.

11 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal in the Center of the Tzolk’in is compared to our own axis mundi, the center of our own universe where we are always perfectly positioned at the center of the 4 directions. The axis is the “line around which any body rotates.” Like a spinning gyroscope, we find our balance in a relationship shared between the Above and the Below. Holding a focus within the center of our Self, we reside in the place of perfect balance.
Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion (a first-generation descendant) of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
