MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 brings the energy of Understanding. This is the day when we can claim a new Truth as our own. The Flint/ETZNAB trecena as guided us to see the Truth of our Spiritual Authority, when we stand in our Integrity as Agents of the Creator.
Offering/MULUC is a symbol of the Moon and our emotions, and water everywhere from the cosmos to our own tears. This is a day to honor our emotions and the emotions of others. Our emotions are the language of the heart.
As we offer our deepest feelings to the Creator, we are raised up to be seen in the true condition of our Spirit. The MULUC glyph illustrates a single drop of water, raised up above the whole. When we surrender ourselves to a heart-to-heart with the Creator, we are raised to be seen as we are. Through an Offering, we receive Atonement. Of one mind with the Creator, we see ourselves through God’s eyes. As we are returned to the whole, the Unconditional Love we received will send ripples through the whole.
The Cherokee Day Sign, The River, is the Flow of Spirit. Water is the element that holds the Ether of Spirit, used for Baptism and Purification. To be carried by the current of Spirit, we only need to let go.
Through our surrender, we volunteer to our circumstances. Believing in the Creator’s power to change them, we can acknowledge that whatever challenge we face is worthy to the process of our Spiritual Growth. We can Trust that God’s Intention is our Greatest Happiness.
Offering/MULUC can give us the strength of heart to meet our daily challenges. Through a healing of our emotions, we can be anchored in the discernment that every day is a Sacred Event and that every experience is Divine and Worthy. We are released from the discernment of “good” or “bad.” We are prepared for Transformation to a Higher Level as Flint clears the responses from our ego. We have nothing to fear, when we allow the Creator’s way to unfold.
We are present at the altar of the Creator as we offer ourselves. The Creator sees us as Sacred when we surrender to a Divine Intention. The Choice of our Surrender is the Sacred Response to the Call of the Creator.
Spirit is held in the presence of all water. The Most Holy Water is that of our tears. They are a physical response to an inner calling of Spirit. Without words, our feelings are capable to communicate everything that needs to be said.
To all my relations, may our Offering be a Gift that reflects our Humility and Gratitude that we were Dreamed to become Companions of the Creator. When we offer ourselves to the Flow of Divine Will, our Happiness and Harmony are guaranteed. No matter what challenge we face, a Divine Creator saw us worthy to share the Authority of overcoming. May we see our Darkness and Light as a Dynamic Experience of a Creator whose Highest Intention is Transformation. May we accept ourselves exactly where we are, believing the Creator knows the Perfect Time and Way to fulfill a Dream of Harmony and Love. May we be conscious of water all around us as the substance of our life blood shared by Mother Earth. May we bless ourselves with water, holding the vision of descending Light. May we offer our Self to every experience as the unfolding of a Divine Plan.

12 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)
CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal in the Center of the Tzolk’in is compared to our own axis mundi, the center of our own universe where we are always perfectly positioned at the center of the 4 directions. The axis is the “line around which any body rotates.” Like a spinning gyroscope, we find our balance in a relationship shared between the Above and the Below. Holding a focus within the center of our Self, we reside in the place of perfect balance.
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
