MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the trecena that begins a new phase of Transformation. A Divine Agency works on our behalf to seat the Truth of a new Understanding. The Intention of Tone 8 is to administer the Justice of Harmony and Equity.
Wind/IK is the Breath of Life and the Breath of Spirit. Wind is capable to disseminate our Dreams for the planting of our Seeds of Intention. The Element of Air carried the Creator’s Voice that Spoke the World into Creation. Through Wind, we are connected to the One and All. Wind amplifies the Voice of the Creator and brings New Life to Spirit.
Wind/IK offers the Divine Justice of Harmony and Equity. We are equally capable of a Divine Communion with the Creator. We were born to recognize the Creator’s Voice.
The Cherokee Day Sign, Whirlwind reflects the Whirling of Life and the Breath of the Universe that carries our prayers to the Creator. In our Highest State of Being we will Know the Truth of our Communion with a Creator that Sees us as the Beloved through the Eyes of Unconditional Love.
Humans all share the same Highest Aspiration. We long to be reconnected, to overcome our Feelings of Separation. Wind/IK can draw our awareness to the Element that Connects us all with each breath we take. Our Collective Prayers are heard by the Creator as a Cry to be made worthy to Know our own Source of Creation. Our effort of Transformation holds the Dream of a Revelation that would Answer Life’s Mysteries and Prove the Truth that our own Justice will be served under a Divine Authority. Just as the Creator’s Highest Intention is Justice and Equality, so does Human dream of fairness and equality.
Today, through the Element of Air, a Voice of Divine Spirit can be heard so we would know the Truth that our Prayers have been Heard. No Aspiration is Higher than our Desire to be in Relationship with the Creator and to Know the Truth of our Correspondence.
The Element of Air relates to the facilities of our Mind and Consciousness. This is a day when our Minds can be changed. Our Consciousness is expanded by a Transformation that is guided by the Highest Authority.
The Cherokee Day Sign, the Whirlwind, represents the 13th Dancer in a Divine Dance of Life. From the 12, the 13th would Ascend like a whirlwind to reside in Oneness with the Divine Authority above. Today we become the 13th Dancer as our Consciousness is raised to the Dance of Life led by a Divine Authority. Wind/IK is a Day Sign of the Ascended Ones.
Wind/IK can elevate our understanding of our own Divine Intentions. As we invest our effort to make a Dream come true the Creator Discerns our True Passion. Our Prayers are clear when we move with Intention toward a Dream. We loved it enough to pursue it with the Faith it could come true. The Creator will help us manifest our Dream in its Highest Expression for the good of All.
As our Two Sides work together, we accomplish more than healing our Sorrow. As we break through the illusion of our Lower Self, we will see that our Divine Inspiration always draws us to something we Love. The “wild ideas” shared with us are as different as we are. The Creator knows us well enough to know what we would Love.
Wind/IK is capable to magnify our Divine Discernment of our Voice of Creation. Atoned with the Creator the Divine Justice we are promised is that our Dreams of Love and Happiness of the Whole is a Creation we are most capable to manifest. Through a direct communication, we can see the Truth of the Creator’s presence every day.
Though the air between us is invisible, the evidence of its presence can be seen and felt. Wind/IK calls us to look for its movement, to feel its touch, and to consider its power to change an entire landscape. Wind is capable to change directions quickly. Wind fulfilled the Intention of Creation in the moment the Creator’s words were spoken.
Today we have an opportunity to be changed quickly. We’ve completed an important climb and the Creator knows our Human need for Encouragement and Proof of our own Accomplishment. We weren’t meant to be kept in the dark. Our inherent longing was Seeded in our Heart for the purpose of its own Divine Justice.
As a Day Sign of the North, Wind/IK resides with the Ascended Masters and the Collective Consciousness of the Whole. This is a day when their words of Wisdom will elevate a new and Divine Truth.
To all my relations, may we turn our Consciousness to the Creator through Sacred Breath, and draw a Breath of Life and Purification. Through a Holy Breath may we draw new Life to our Spirit, a new Light of Consciousness. May we humble ourselves to a Power of Love that gave part of itself, equally to every Human, so that no one would be left out. May we acknowledge with our gratitude the Divine Agency that intervenes on our behalf. May we lift our own prayers to the Creator and listen for the answer in the Wind. As we pray for our own Dream, may it be transformed by the Creator into a Divine Dream for the Blessing of the Whole. As we feel the Air swirling around us, may we imagine it as the Winds of Change moved by an Agency of Divine Dancers.

8 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
