MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
10 Seed/KAN is the first day of Manifestation in the 13th Uinal of Ascension. This is a time of Harvest. What began as a Seed has produced a Seed of its own. Through a Seed we are able to multiply our Abundance. Seed is said to gather abundance like a net.
Seed holds the integrity of its Design. We have created a Higher Seed. Through this new Seed we can be freed from debt or oppressive patterns of the past.
Through the process of Raising our Own Consciousness, we have Seeded a new and Higher Version of our Self. We are capable to start life again with greater strength and abundance. Our Spirit will have its own new Beginning as the next generation.
The Cherokee recognize Seed as The Dragon, the symbol of Life Force. Like Seed/KAN, it describes the magic within the Seed that makes it capable to come to Life. A Dragon holds the aspect to “see clearly.”
Tone 10’s Intention of Manifestation is both a Blessing and Responsibility. To manifest a new Transformation, we have to see it and claim it for our Self. Seed/KAN draws us to look at our Self for the Truth. Divine Intervention shares the Vision to see clearly.
Tone 10 is a day when we can be presented with circumstances we’ve faced in the past, only to realize it looks different. We may no longer have the same “buttons” that once triggered an emotional response. Something we once took personally, may now appear as part of the “Human Condition,” a suffering we had in common.
Through a new and higher perspective we can see that the “injustice” inflicted by others is their emotional response to suffering. Through new eyes, our perspective is no longer clouded by our own suffering. If we look deeply enough, we can see that what we saw as “injustice” was in Truth the cry of another Spirit longing for Unconditional Love.
We can see this Truth in others by looking at our Self. Even in our Lower Nature we hold the Intention of getting along. When we are “unconscious” we see our own offenses as a retaliation. “They did it first.” When we see “what they did” as a cry for Love, we no longer justify our Lower Response. We would change the dynamic of every experience with Unconditional Love and Understanding of our Common Human Condition. We could see that even in a state of unconsciousness, Love is our Highest Human Intention.
All our conflicts would be quickly resolved by Tolerance and Understanding. We don’t have to agree with another person to Understand. Nor is Understanding an admission of guilt. “I Understand,” just means that I can see your perspective. Understanding resolves conflict. Our deepest desire is just to be Seen and Heard. When we start from this place, our Unconditional Love can heal the pain of an illusion of separation. Every Human Understands how it feels to be overlooked. Through Higher Consciousness we can recognize the Condition of the Heart.
Every Human has to “see clearly” to affect their own Transformation. It’s not our job to make others see, only to Love them. An experience of Unconditional Love and Forgiveness is what opened our own eyes. As an Agent of Unconditional Love, we volunteer to receive the injustice of blame without personal offense.
Eagle’s Vision magnifies our ability to Discern a New Understanding of our Self. Seed/KAN guides us to claim the new Seed of our Self. We can manifest our Transformation by seeing that we’ve evolved to a Higher Consciousness and Understanding. Through Eagle’s eyes we can see into the future how, through a new manifestation of Consciousness, we can fly even Higher as an oppressive pattern of of our own suffering is left behind.
The 13th Uinal is an Accomplishment of Consciousness that is Coming to Fruition. 13 is the Number of the Supreme God of Creation (Ometeotl / Omecinatl). The 13th Uinal is the 7th Day of Creation.
Galactic Tone 10 relates to the materialization of substance and the realization of potential. In our Eagle/MEN journey of spiritual growth, Tone 10 helps us to recognize our own Power of Creation. Like the magical seed, we can be fired by Divine Spirit to become something exponentially greater. The Cherokee Day Sign of Dragon/UKTE’NA relates to “the Corn Mother and Maiden, holding the power of fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation.” Our Love makes a different in the future.
This is a day to look back and look forward. We can reflect on the changes from Season to Season and imagine what the Next Season might bring.
This is a Day to Count our Blessings. We were Created to be Loved Unconditionally. We will always be Human. As we See our Self as One with the Creator, we will learn to Love our Self. Love is the Healing Source for everything we would desire to change. Seed/KAN would help us see ourselves as the Creator Sees us. We are Dynamic Creations who have fulfilled a Generation of Transformation. The Truth we Claim will be the Seed that Ascends to a Higher Personification of Light.
To all my relations, may we see a new freedom from our own suffering as the evidence of our Transformation. May we use our Eagle eyes to look far off in every direction. To the East we can see a new Acknowledgement that our Inspiration comes from our Unity with the Creator. We can look to the South to see how our relationships will be transformed. We can look to the West to see where we’ve overcome our Fear of the Unknown. And, to the North, we could see how with Higher Consciousness we could learn much more from our experiences. May we claim the Truth of a change that opens a Higher Road to our Destiny.

10 Seed/KAN (Cherokee/Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ” eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
