MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 11 holds the energy of Resolution. Through a new gift of clarity, we can resolve our new way forward. Tone 11 is the day the shaman climb to the Highest Altar. From this place we are offered a Higher Perspective for Inspiration and Direction.
Offering/MULUC is a Day Sign of Atonement. Through an Offering we are reunited with the One Divine Consciousness. The Elders taught that an Offering was a Sacred Exchange where the Gift we bring should reflect the Gift we expect to Receive in exchange. Biblical law demanded that one bring the spotless, the purest, and best. MULUC calls us to bring an Offering of our Self, the sacrifice of a Savior.
Offering/MULUC is the Day Sign of the Moon, Water, and our Emotions. This is a day to Honor our own Emotions, and the Emotions of others. Our feelings reflect the True Condition of our Heart. Water is the substance that holds the Ether of Spirit. Blessings of Living Water were used for the purpose of a Holy Baptism and Purification. Offering/MULUC is the sign of Water everywhere, from the cosmos to our own tears. Through a Choice to Offer our Heart, we are purified as the Best, the Spotless and Pure. The glyph illustrates one drop of water raised above the Whole. Sharing the Consciousness of our Divinity, the Creator prepares us to be returned to the One, sending ripples of Love through the Whole.
Through a personal sacrifice, MULUC Offers us the Healing of our Emotions. The Elders on the shamanic path identify the Calling of a Shaman as the path of the “Wounded Healer.” Those who hold the Greatest Power to Serve and Protect the Whole are the Ones who have experienced the greatest suffering. The humans that suffer the most are the ones most closely called to the path. The Human that suffers holds the greatest Empathy and Compassionate Love. They are the Saviors most willing to Forgive, clearly seeing the Suffering of Humanity.
The path of the shaman is a Choice to Volunteer to a Broken Heart. By Choice, the shaman is willing to bear the Suffering of Human on behalf of the Whole. Instead of seeing injustice, the shaman sees another Heart that suffers, drawn to them for the purpose of a Healing. The shaman volunteers to suffer the “injustice” as a sacrifice of Loving the Whole.
Through our Feelings, MULUC helps us see the the Human limitation that makes it hard to forgive. Though MULUC is a symbol of Water, it holds the Element of Fire. Fire is the Spark, the lightning connection between the Above and the Below. Through a Choice to Offer our Self, we receive an in-pouring of Spirit that Heals our own Heart. We are made capable to Serve and Protect the Whole as our eyes are opened to the Divinity in our Purpose to serve as the Forgiver.
MULUC can be an emotional day. We are called to the Highest Altar to be in Communion with the Creator through the language of the Heart. In our relationship with the Creator, our most Sacred Communion is the sharing of our feelings. When we share with the Creator the darkness that we bear, the Light we Receive manifests a Divine Intention to Love. The Salvation of Forgiveness looks beyond the “sin” to see the Heart of a Child of God. When we Forgive we acknowledge the Heart that longed to be Happy, the Heart that is broken, reaching its limit of Human Love.
When we are Forgiven we are returned to Divinity. We are given another Chance to Live in Purity. When Forgiveness is offered by another Human, we are offered the gift of seeing that the Divinity of who we are is more important than our Human failure. Through Forgiveness we are given a new life. Through a Gift of Unconditional Love, we can face our own darkness without any fear of being cast away or forgotten.
Through Forgiveness we share the Keys to the Kingdom. When we no longer have to Blame to see ourselves as spotless, we start to see things more clearly. Released from our own darkness, we are made Consciousness to see that we are ALL suffering. As the priest and shaman, our calling is to serve and protect all the hearts that suffer. From a higher perspective we can discern that the injustice we inflict on one another comes from an unconscious state of mind… a mind that is unconscious of the Creator’s Love, and unconscious of the Hope of our Salvation. In a final Act of Forgiveness, Jesus said, “Father, Forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
Atonement is the Higher Perspective through which we can see the Divinity of Humanity. When we look at the reason our hearts are broken, we could clearly see the disappointment in our Self. We lash out when we are faced with an experience where we feel incapable to Love. Blaming others is the only Resolution our Human mind can see to maintain our own Divinity. We are restored into Right Relationship as the Deer, when we stand silently in our own Truth. Through Humility, we can heal the heart that suffers. In Humility, we don’t have to prove a point and we don’t have to defend our Self. We offer our own suffering into the Hands of the Creator.
Forgiving one another is a Divine Movement of Being. Forgiveness born of Compassionate Love is the Brightest Light we have to Bring. Through forgiveness we share our Greatest Love with the Creator. We elevate our Divine Relationship to its Highest State, when we proclaim the Love of the Creator is an experience Greater than all the suffering in the world.
The Cherokee Day Sign, the River, is a symbol of the Flow of Spirit that carries us back to the Wholeness of the One. The water that falls from the sky, and flows to the place of least resistance, carries the Spirit of our Ancestors. Human is unable to resist the Creator’s Unconditional Love. Our Divinity is guaranteed through the Choice to Know this Unconditional Love. Offering/MULUC calls us to be One in a River of Love, the Unconditional Love waiting to be offered to every Human Heart.
My heart breaks for separated children that we don’t know where they are. As my heart breaks, I’m also filled with Joy for the outcry of so many, a shared Declaration of Human Divinity. This evening I attended my Grandson’s kindergarten graduation ceremony. The school is multi-cultural, and as I looked around the audience of maybe a hundred people, it was hard to tell if any ethnicity or culture was in the majority. The children were more beautiful than I’ve ever seen them before. My heart was breaking with Love, wishing every child was Free to Be Loved. The Love in the room spilled from one family onto another. It was a Compelling Love.
To all my relations, may we open our Hearts to share the depth of our suffering in Communion with the Creator. May we know that sharing our Heart is the most Intimate Communion we share. May we life our eyes from the Darkness and Claim the Light. Through a Miracle, the Creator will make us Spotless and Pure in the eyes of One Another. As Human Believing, may we Flow with the River of Spirit that carries us back to the One Divine Family.

11 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)
Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
