THE WIND/IK TRECENA IS DEDICATED TO MINISA CRUMBO HALSEY, 1 IK (eek)
Minisa Crumbo, Dawnwoman, shares her Breath of Spirit in her book “Spirit Talk: a count of days“ that was the encouragement to write a journal. Minisa holds the Inheritance of Marcellus “Bear Heart” Williams, the Uncle who raised her up on the traditional path of the shaman. The rich accounting of the way he was taught is written in “The Wind is my Mother.” Minisa also draws on the Wisdom of the Sacred Pottawatomie tradition of her heritage, holding the Wisdom of the Sacred words of the Pottawatomie passed to her from Donald Perrot, Member and Elder of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Watch the thoughts like an eagle. Upon identifying undesirable, unloving, depressive, angry, fearful, controlling, or manipulative, jealous, vengeful, or sorrowful thoughts, acknowledge and honor them. Pull the weeds of the Divine Garden. Maintenance. Aspire also to learn the content and meaning of their message and immediately, or as soon as possible, direct and return them to the great reservoir of spirit energy, where they will be purified and renewed. Release them to make their own blessing journey and return to Source, sending them on their return path with gratitude and love, on the breath as well as thought. The eyes can also direct releases, with permission, to the clouds. The breath, being the constant link with life and the Divine is ever present, able, and willing to transmute and transform into Spirit, that which is truly dead, dying or diseased . . . no longer wanted or needed. Be sure that only ones personal business is addressed. At all times be observant of others’ sacred and psychic privacy and freedom of choice.
Maintaining a respectful mien, which is increasingly built by mindful, positive choices and growing awarenesses of what and how we think, act, and intend at all times, is essential. This practice of thorough attention is a cumulative, life process and will grow more robust with practice and the seasons, so move forward and regularly provide the sweet water of loving kindness to the young Sacred Flowering Tree, and to the young skebyak, the green beings, born of the same elemental parents as ourselves. What kind of tree or shrub are you? ~ Minisa Crumbo Halsey
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 offers a Gift of Retrospection that holds the Intention of Comprehension and Understanding. On Tone 12 we are changed by a new Truth that moves from the Head to the Heart.
12 Reed/BEN is Kin 233, the 12th Tone in the 12th uinal of the Tzolk’in. We are drawing together the Understanding of a harvest cycle of Spiritual Growth.
Reed/BEN is the guiding Light for Family and Home. Reeds are tough an analytical. They know the rules of order that bring Peace and Harmony to all their relations. They are willing to take up a cause to establish Divine Authority for the purpose of Right Relationship. Reed/BEN guides us to a new Understanding through our experience of family and home. Reed is observed as a day to Bless and Repair our Home.
Our Home is the circle we drew around our Creation, defining our place for communion with the Creator. Within our Circle is the Whole of the Creator’s Creation of Beauty, Mother Earth. Through her we can see all the Perfect Beauty wrought by the Creator’s Breath. We can see what we are made of and the Beauty that is ours To Be through a Divine Transformation by Spirit. Existing in this place of Home, all the dreams we would manifest can be born from the Source of Divine Inspiration, beginning and ending under the Authority of the One Divine Source of Unconditional Love.
Home is the place where we can enter in and close the door behind us to all the influences and distractions of a material world of influence. Here we are given the Time and Place for our own Divine Discernment of the Condition of our own Heart. As the first-born children of a Supreme Creator, our Home is within the silence of the Divine Time and Place of our Communion. To enter into this Communion, we come on our knees in the Humility of gratefulness for the place we were given To Be in Oneness with the Creator.
This Home is the one place we can always Know exists, where we are seen in the Light of our Divine Intentions, and still be Loved in our failure to carry them out in the way we dreamed we could. In the humility of all the ways we are still broken, the cracks in our vessel are the very places where the Creator’s light can shine through.
Again, we can remember that Miracles by definition are the Acts of God that exceed our Human limitation. We only have to offer to the Creator what we discern as our own limitation, in the willingness of a surrender to be made Whole by a Divine Hand and Authority of Unconditional Love. What is broken and offered up with open hands, will be Blessed and Repaired by a Power Greater than our Own. We will Know the Truth of a Miracle, when we’ve Seen and Acknowledged where our own power ended and a Divine Power promises to step in. We will always receive the Light of Illumination when we volunteer the mind of lower consciousness to be raised up by the Creator.
I’m grateful for a place where we can share everything, without fear of Losing anything, nor fear of being sent to the back of the line. God made each one of us, the One and Only, and the All in One. The differences we find through our relationships, are an integral part of the Gift of Seeing we were each given our own special Meaning and Purpose.
The Reed/BEN glyph represents an altar. Above are Channels of Light from Above to Below. Below are the prayer mats where Human kneels in Humility. Reed is the Channel of Communion between Heaven and Earth. We draw down the Light of Understanding in a position of Humility.
The Elders share the story of Reed as the “hollow bone,” being stripped clean of our fleshly desires and expectations. Surrendering all our expectations of how we “think things should be” we are opened to whatever the Creator sees as the experiences that will lead to our own next Miracle of Understanding.
To all my relations, may we claim each one of us as members of our Divine Family. May we choose Love and Forgiveness as our Offering, asking the Creator to fulfill the Intention that exceeds our own limitation. May we be made the “hollow bone” that the Breathe of the Creator can clearly pass through to raise us again to the Consciousness of all the Miracles of Love that are possible, when we share the Divine Intention that it will be made Divinely So. May we Know our own Authority in the choices we make, and claim the Sacred Right to make them, accepting that all the things we do can be transformed as the Wisdom of Experience. May we acknowledge the Divinity of every Experience and by what we can learn through our Conscious Inspection. May we Bless the Home we were given by the Creator, the place where the “I Am” Seed is made imperishable. May we draw our Truth of Miracles into the Seed, that through our Winter Dreams will fertilize the soil with Unconditional Love. May we Honor this Time of Human learning together, each in our own way, always Perfect and Good in the eyes of the Creator.
May we prepare to Dream on all these things drawn through the Tree of Life from the Above to the Below. May we surrender to the contraction that precedes a new Spring, and the Dawn of a New Awakening to Higher Dreams than we’ve ever known before.
in lak’ech, i am another you

12 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed/ I’HYA)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all o their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible vies and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe. Bless or repair your house.
Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA: REED- Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini. Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind. A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.
