MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Peak Tone 7 holds the Intention of Balance. From the top of the pyramid, we can see all that Is and all that is Not. Tone 7 is the Reflection that holds the Great Law of Creation, “As Above, So Below.” What is created in one realm, is balanced in all others.
Monkey/CHUEN is a Creator. CHUEN is the Weaver of TIme. The glyph illustrates ALL time, rolled up on the head of the Monkey.
Monkey/CHUEN is a creature of curiosity and play. CHUEN is attracted to Unknown Beauty. Monkey sees the Beauty of form, function, meaning and purpose. The Monkey is attracted to one thing, and then another… known to rarely finish anything.
Monkey is the Divine Demonstration of a Creator. Just as Love Begets Love, so does Creation Beget Creation. Anytime we create something, we end up with a new idea on how it could be better. Or, we think it’s already perfect, and we should create so many we’d never finish.
We Have the Spiritual Gift of always moving toward a Higher Creation. The Monkey isn’t bound to finish what it started when it sees something more beautiful. This is how we will be drawn into our own Highest Creation of Beauty. Every little creation leads to our Most Divine Creation. Every Creation will turn us to another creation, until we arrive at a perpetual Creation of Love.
Master Number 111: 7 Monkey/CHUEN is Kin 111, a powerful number of manifesting and manifestation that carries the combined attributes and energies of number 1 and the karmic Master Number 11. Number 1 resonates with assertiveness, independence, motivation, positivity, and self-initiative. Number 111 symbolizes spiritual awakening and enlightenment, high energy, inspiration and intuition, self-expression and sensitivity. Number 111 is a signal of “instant manifestation,” the Sign that an energetic gateway has opened up for you, and will rapidly manifest your thoughts into your reality. When a series of 111’s appear, monitor your thoughts carefully and be sure to only think about what it is you really want, not what you don’t want. [Sacred Scribes]
Tone 7 is the end of the Human’s journey in the CHICCHAN trecena. We set a direction to Love, guided by our Heart. Today we see all that is and all that is not. We can see the Flow in place that will carry us to a dream. Today Spirit calls Human for one last Leap of Faith. We’re called to hold Faith in the effort that Human sees. This is the effort that will be Multiplied to Abundance by Divine Intervention, the Sacred Exchange for an Offering.
The Maya were Vigilant Observers of Life and Human. They found the meaning of Life by looking objectively from a Higher Perspective. From up above, the Mayan priest saw Human’s ways as movement of the Whole. From Above they saw the steps of Human creation Below.
The Monkey is a Creature of Consciousness and Creation. Monkey/CHUEN can heal our emotions through a Sense of Curiosity. Like an Alchemist, Monkey sees Life as a grand experiment. Monkey plays with things just to see how they work. When we take the view of the Observer, Life becomes the mystery we want to figure out. We don’t take things personally when we’re Intending to learn something from our experiences.
The Monkey reminds us to keep a sense of Humor. When we Know that Human is always guided by Love, we might look at all the behaviors and responses that are part of a Human Expression of Love. When we want love, we can play hard to get. Love can make us mad when our experience doesn’t match our expectations. CHUEN is capable to see all the Monkey Business and still know it’s all an Expression of Love. Monkey creates what it Loves. It only makes sense to the Monkey to fill in the Love that was missing between the expectation and the experience. A Monkey would know instantly how to put broken Love together again.
Like the Monkey, we always know the Love that needs to be Created. The only thing that stops us is an objective point of view. When someone is pleading their case over a failure of Love, we know what they want. We Know that Love and Forgiveness would immediately fix everything. “Silly Human. Isn’t Love what you said you wanted?”
Monkey knows it holds the Magic of Love, and Loves to use it just to see what it does. People don’t have to be honest and sincere for us to offer them Love and Forgiveness. Monkey’s figured out, that it doesn’t mean we have to stick around if there’s something more beautiful. There’s no reason not to Love, just because we have a better reason to move on. We Love our Self Too. Plus, God Gave us all those Happy Choices to make.
CHUEN resides in the West, the place of the Unknown and our Responses to the experiences of Life. Holding the Element of Water, CHUEN touches our Heart and our Spirit, as well as our Mind. CHUEN is said to weave the tapestry of our Lives into a thing of beauty. The Monkey sees the Beauty in all the Times it holds. Love is there, all the Time. Sometimes our Love draws us to each other. Sometimes, it keeps us apart. When its Unconditional Love that keeps us apart, we will always be stronger when we’re together.
Today, 7 Monkey/CHUEN offers us a Higher View all around. Monkey discerns Love in the Beauty all around. Our Human ways are always good for a laugh. All the threads look different when you pull them apart for a closer look. Human has an upside down and opposite reflection of Love seen from Above. We try to Receive it, when Love must be Given. When there’s not enough, we close the door to all of it. Monkey can help us see the nuts and bolts of Love, and the Magic of seeing how it can all fit together.
The Monkey Connects our Intellect as a Tool for the Discernment of our Human emotions. Monkey sees Emotions as a Spiritual Gift. The Monkey knows Feelings aren’t an Answer. Feelings Call for an Answer. Monkey/CHUEN holds the potential for a mystical experience of Divine Discernment. On Tone 7, we’re positioned for a clear view of things… all that is and isn’t Love. Through the Spiritual Gifts of Monkey, all experiences will become a curiosity of Love.
Love is our Magic Power for all our Spiritual Tools. One of the earliest counselors in my life, suggested I carry a picture of myself as a child. What I couldn’t do for myself, I could pull the picture out and do it as Love for the little girl in me. I remember as a single Mother how ashamed I was to call the utility company to arrange a late payment. They were always willing to work with me. Yet, it was so hard to call. But, I could call for the one in the picture. Human has the Capacity of Consciousness to anchor concepts and truths to be an influence on our own Response to the experience of living. The Consciousness of Love is the most Powerful Gift for our Heart and Mind.
To all my relations, today we guided by the Monkey to perform the Magic of Love, just to see what happens. We can ask for Divine Intervention, to be Conscious of Love so we can figure something out. When we meet an experience that doesn’t live up to our expectations of Love, may we just fill in the Love that’s missing. We might find that Love is the Answer to Everything. May we see the Balance of Love, the Intention of the Creation, in all things that exist Below. May we reach for the Divine Reflection of Love as it is carried out perfectly in the realm of Spirit. So, in the end, will the reflection Below match the Reflection Above. May we be grateful that the Divine Balance is held by the Hand of an Almighty Creator.

7 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
