Sympathetic Solar Flares
SPACEWEATHER.COM: APRIL 22, 2024
RAPID-FIRE PLASMA JETS: Sunspot complex AR3638-47 has been in a almost-constant state of eruption for days. This animation from earlier today shows multiple jets of plasma shooting into space in only a few hours:
Since last week, dozens of these jets have flown away from the sunspot group. All of them have missed Earth. The magnetic structure of the sunspot complex is guiding debris to the south–just far enough to miss our planet when the resulting CMEs pass nearby.
An exception might be on the way. One of the jets emitted on April 22nd *might* have an Earth-directed component. ETA: April 26th.

A SUPER-SYMPATHETIC SOLAR FLARE: Four solar flares at once? Believe it. During the early hours of April 23rd, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory watched four regions on the sun separated by hundreds of thousands of kilometers explode simultaneously. Play the movie and pay attention to the circled areas.
GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH (G1): Multiple CMEs left the sun in the past 24 hours, mostly on a trajectory south of Earth. If even one of them grazes Earth’s magnetic field, it could spark a G1-class geomagnetic storm. The most likely impact dates are April 25th and 26th.
The quadruple blast included three sunspots (small circles) and a magnetic filament (big circle). This is called a “sympathetic solar flare.” Sympathetic flares are pairs of explosions that occur almost simultaneously in different active regions. The widely-separated regions appear to be unrelated to one another but, in fact, they are linked by nearly-invisible magnetic loops in the sun’s corona. This allows instabilities to rapidly travel from one to another, creating a chain reaction of explosions.
Today’s sympathetic flare was not a simple pair but a full-fledged quartet, making it super-sympathetic. So much of the sun was involved, it’s likely that at least some of the debris will be Earth-directed. Stay tuned for updates about a possible CME.

Full Pink Moon, April 23-24, 2024
MoonGiant.com, Full Moon April 24, 2024 (Includes International Dates and Times)
As the earth warms for spring the April Full Moon marks a time of renewal.
April’s full moon is widely known as the Full Pink Moon, even though it doesn’t actually turn pastel pink as the name suggests. The Full Pink Moon’s name comes from the abundance of moss phlox, a common little pink flower that typically begins to spread across the ground in early spring. With that said, this creeping phlox is not the only thing that begins blooming during the Full Pink Moon.
In many Native American tribes, April’s full moon is associated with the bustling life and vibrant growth of spring. In Sioux culture, it’s named after the sprouting of red grass. The Comanche tribe called it the New Spring Moon, and both the Tlingit and Sioux tribes referred to it as the Budding Moon, after the new plants that begin to bud and sprout during spring. The Cherokee tribe even called it the Flower Moon (though that name is also sometimes used to refer to May’s full moon), and celebrated it for the growth of useful medicinal plants and magical herbs.
At the same time, April is a time when rivers and streams begin to fully thaw. Accordingly, the Shoshone tribe named April’s full moon the Full Melting Moon, and the Arapaho tribe called it the Moon Where Ice Breaks in the River. It was also known as the Fish Moon because of the fish that would begin to swim upstream during this time. The Cherokees believed that flowing water was under the control of a spirit called the Long Man, and so would perform rituals to honor him during the Full Pink Moon. An example of a ritual like this was the Knee Deep Dance, based off the movements of the Water Frog. The Assiniboine tribe also called April’s full moon the Frog Moon.
Water is not the only thing that starts to flow during the Full Pink Moon – this is also the time where maple sap begins to flow in earnest, marking the true beginning of the incredibly important sugar-making season. The Abenaki tribes called April’s full moon the Sugar Maker Moon, and the Ojibwe called it the Sugarbush Moon. The Ojibwe tribe would journey north to their spring camps to tap maple syrup and engage in spear fishing. Maple syrup was integral to Ojibwe culture: not only was it a crucial method of seasoning all their foods (they did not have access to salt at that time), but it also symbolized harmony within the community and with the forces of nature around them.
The Full Pink Moon also holds religious significance in other cultures. For example, in Islamic communities around the world, April’s full moon is celebrated as Bara’at Night, also known as the Night of Innocence. Muslims offer up prayers, asking God to absolve dead ancestors of their sins.
The last Full Moon was the Full Worm Moon. The soil was turned for the New Seed. “As the worm turns” is an old colloquialism used to describe when a person or group of people who have been treated badly for a long time suddenly become forceful and stop accepting a difficult situation. (Source: Cambridge Dictionary)
If you say that the worm turns, you mean that someone who usually obeys another person or accepts their bad behaviour unexpectedly starts resisting that person or expresses their anger. (Source: Collins Dictionary)
The Worm that Turns into a Butterfly
Mayan Time: The New Seed of our Self is turning over a new leaf. In sympathy with the Aztec meaning of Time, we’re turning “poison” into “medicine.” What no longer serves becomes the nourishment to grow. Tomorrow, 12 Wind/IK will disseminate the Seed to take root in the fertile Earth that offers all the right conditions to grow, on behalf of the whole.
Life on Earth is receiving the Light of Spring from all sides. The Full Moon in Scorpio represents changes on a scale of Life and Death. The Spring Tides raise the water table and magnify the Power of our Feelings. The Light from all sides can manifest our Inner Resolve, and the Full Moon can restore the Sweetness of Life.
Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in the 12th House: ThePlanetsToday.com
The 12th House relates to our Destiny that redefines the Truth of our Identity for the 1st House of Aries.
Jupiter is the planet of Good Luck, and Uranus introduces the “unexpected.” This aspect blends the energy of the two planets, creating a dynamic fusion that transforms into a single energetic expression. And, since Jupiter’s keyword is “more” and Uranus’ is “revolution,” we can infer what this cosmic coupling implies: more revolution.

TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN: DAWN OF A NEW CREATION
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

By the tradition of the Aztec calendar –
Day Cipactli (Crocodile, known as Imix in Maya) is governed by Tonacatecuhtli, Lord of Nurturance, as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Cipactli is an auspicious day, signifying advancement and honor. It depicts energy and work, rewards and recognition. A good day for beginnings.
The thirteen day period (trecena) that starts with day 1-Ozomahtli (Monkey) is ruled by Patecatl. The 13 days of this trecena are influenced by the quest for cures of all the various ills that befall us: the quest to obtain power that can overcome misfortune lies at the heart of the warrior’s purpose. The transformation of poison into medicine, and evil into good, is an art whose expression must be tailored to the field of battle. These are good days to fashion a war shield and collect articles for your medicine bundle; bad days to allow infections to fester.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.
Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.
A GOOD DAY TO: Open to new beginnings.
Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg, to the Maya, the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth.
