MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 2 represents Duality. On Tone 2 we consider an Idea or Dream for the Choice “to be, or not to be.”
On Tone 2 we take a Divine Idea and consider what we might make of it. For every Bright Idea, the next inevitable question is, “Could I do it?”
2 Monkey/CHUEN is a VERY Divine Day of Intervention. Living for the Creator, we’ll Design through a back and forth way in Communion with the Creator.
The Dog/OC trecena of “darkness” is our Greatest Opportunity to Create something with the Creator, now that we can Sense our Gifts to Know Truth and Happiness, it will be easy to create a journey that follows the Creator’s Divine Way between the Darkness and the Light.
Monkey/CHUEN is up there at the top of the pyramid with Dog/OC. Together they share the zenith positions in every uinal. They are here now in a 9th uinal of Completion. The Dog/OC trecena completes the creation of the Human harvest of this Tzolk’in round.
Monkey/CHUEN is the Magician, Alchemist, and Creator. If there’s a way, the Monkey’s tried it out of curiosity, just to see what happens. All of the Archetypes and nahauls are personalities, perspectives, and Divine Instincts of Living Things in the world. They illustrate all the Gifts of Human’s Divine Consciousness. They are all personifications of thoughts from the Creator’s Consciousness.
Cycles of “darkness” are a Human application of Truth to an Experience. That’s the duality-way Human comprehends. First there’s the idea, then there’s the “if,” “how,” and “will to be.”
Monkey/CHUEN connects our conscious and subconscious thoughts. It’s really an awesome day for Vigilant Consciousness. CHUEN connects Intellect and Intuition for an Application of Imagination. Monkey is FREE to create ANYTHING.
CHUEN resides in the West of Unknown Experience, holding the Element of Water and Ether of Spirit. Mystical experiences are possible on Monkey/CHUEN. The Monkey trecena created the world. Dog/OC is Loving it.
Today we will be In Communion with the Creator. Monkey brings a Sense of Humor. One of our silliest tricks not knowing our conversations with the Creator.
We Ascended through an Atonement, united in thought. On Tone 1 a new conversation began. On Tone 1, we leaned in to hear what the Creator would say. We had a Bright Idea. Then our thoughts shared a Human perspective of how things are below. Then our Heart broke over a Dream we couldn’t Believe. The Creator feels all our dynamic expressions.
On Tone 2 in Duality with the Creator, we consider Creation. For the Creator, it’s only worthy to choose the “impossible.”
To all my relations, may the Monkey speak to your Heart and coax you into at least LOOKING at your Dreams. May we Remember our Offering and imagine how our Creation would become the Symbol of a Miracle.
I’m glad Dogs hang in a pack.
in lak’ech, i am another you,
Debra, Jaguar Spirit, 9 Eagle/MEN

2 Monkey Chuen (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI )
Galactic Tone 2: Duality; Mysterious as the question “to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the May as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. It is also considered to be one of the most fortunate and lucky day signs.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: The Racoon Symbol is Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. Links to sources and other resources of study are offered on the Daykeeper Resources Page. ~Debra]

UPDATE ON A LIFE DREAM:
2 Monkey/CHUEN in the last round, I received my passport in the mail for my trip to the Yucatan. I received the Authority to go someplace. 🙂
Completing the my book is a Dream also spoken last May. Both were impossible dreams. I’ve written about 1400 Daily Journals, but wasn’t sure if I could write a book. I guess if all I wanted was print between two covers, I’ve got the content now. LOL There’s still a Jaguar Journey to the end of the Unknown, but now I know the Jaguar footprints led me to Ek’ Balam. in lak’ech, Debra
The details are outlined on my PRE-PUBLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT.
