THE TRECENA OF STAR/LAMAT – THE ASCENDING 13-DAY CYCLE OF THE TZOLK’IN ROUND OF HUMAN CREATION
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 4 holds an Intention of Stability. Like the cube, the most stable of all forms, Tone 4 establishes the boundaries and parameters that define a dimension of thought. We establish the “rules of the game” by defining our Pillars of Truth. On Tone 4 we attempt to see things as they are. In the 4th Hour of Light, we’ve chosen the Seeds of Intention. We measure the task at hand.
It’s always good to go back to the beginning to remember. Especially when we are Ascending. The whole meaning of Ascension is to reach beyond what we know to a Truth of Higher Understanding. The effect of Ascension is seeing everything in a new way. We are charting new and unknown territory of Faith and Believing. The Mission is to raise a New Light for the Whole. We are carrying the Light farther than Humanity has known before. It was the very meaning and purpose of the Divine Inheritance of Wisdom that was left behind. We are the Living, the ones Here and Now, holding the Possibility for the Miracle.
Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN reside in Affinity in the Highest Position of Truth. The Monkey Knows the Truth of Unconditional Love. Monkey’s best friend is the living proof and a Divine Demonstration. The Monkey holds the Perception of Beauty. The Monkey Loves the Gift of Consciousness to See everything that Love can be.
Monkey is the “weaver of Time,” said to have ALL Time rolled up in its head. Monkey is the Master of Art, though it rarely finishes one masterpiece before it turns to another. Monkey’s Masterpiece is like the Art of Impressionism. The Monkey’s Intention is to share the Expression of Love. It doesn’t take every detail to convey the Beauty of Life or Love.
It doesn’t take our whole life to prove that Life and Love is Beautiful. It only takes One Moment of the Divine Truth. From the Dog, the Monkey KNOWS there is Love in every Time and Place. And, Monkey holds the Consciousness of ALL Time and the Gift to go back to any Time and Place. As the “time weaver” Monkey/CHUEN is said to weave the threads of our life into a thing of beauty as the tapestry of our life. Monkey extends the gift of time-travel, holding the consciousness that we can create Love from any Time and Place. To realize the Truth of our own Ascension we have to see a Before and After. We will realize the end from the beginning. Monkey/CHUEN holds the tools of an artist for our Highest Creation of Love in the Past, Present, and Future.
With a Dog as best friend, Monkey never questions the Truth of Love. Monkey holds the Truth to move on to even Greater things, realizing the Power to Create Love through the Beauty of the Expression. Dog brings some strange things home as Love. Our Human way of Loving isn’t very attractive. Monkey loves the Consciousness to make it look pretty. The Cherokee Day Sign is the Raccoon. Both are friendly tricksters. They laugh at the human expressions of Love that couldn’t possibly reach their end. They both encourage us to have a sense of humor. It’s NOT the end of the world. The ugly Truth can be cleaned up like new with a little bit of water.
We’re not supposed to take our self so seriously. Monkey and the Raccoon have a sense of curiosity and can see everything from an objective point of view. They would likely point out the ever-ready supply of water from our own tears. We could use that to clean off the dirt and then we’ll See the Love that’s Beautiful. (They know the Beauty of Love ALWAYS brings human tears.)
So, okay. If tears can clean up all the darkness we’ve seen, there’s worse things than having to Feel what our Beauty of Love could be. We’ll end up crying about it one way or the other. Maybe if we looked close enough, we’d SEE the Feeling IS just the same? Is it? Does Love Lost Feel the same as Love that’s found? Is it only the perception that compares the experience from darkness and from light? A Monkey can see the Beauty in the whole picture, and sees the Truth in all the threads of the experience. The Monkey knows that Love will never end, so it ALWAYS believes in a Happy Ending. That’s what makes life such a curious thing. One thing can lead to another.
Monkey/CHUEN resides in the West, the direction of the Unknown. Monkey’s not afraid. There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain with the Consciousness that we Create the Beauty we See. CHUEN leads the mystical experiences of Life as one that dives in to the mystery to figure it out. The Monkey holds the gift to see the threads of experience from one end to the other.
The Truth we can Know through objective curiosity is that Life is Beautiful. When we look at ALL the time of our life, the injustice of it all is the least of the experience. We are given more beauty in every moment than we could see in a lifetime of curiosity. It takes ALL of us to see half of it, if we’re lucky.
The Monkey makes up its own rules. Knowing its own power to create the beauty from its own imagination, why not make it fun? Why claw for the creation if we could use a magic wand or some faerie dust? It’s all created in our imagination anyway. We can make it as hard or as fun as we want it to be. We can laugh at the way we fall down, when we Know it’s all part of the way to the Truth at the end.
Holding the Element of Water, the Monkey/CHUEN shares a blessing to heal our emotions. The only way to know the Truth of Our Love is to Feel it. Love created by Feelings will always be remembered and Known as True. Maybe not now, but some Time. So, it WILL be part of the whole picture when it’s finished.
The Intentions of creation have a life of their own. Whether we are painting a picture, building a piece of furniture, planting seeds, or baking a cake, one thought of creation leads to the “next thing.” Every “next thing of beauty” is divinely inspired. We know it belongs in the picture – we see its place before it’s added to the creation. We don’t have any questions. As long as we are following that truth that’s “the next thing” then end is beautiful. Where we get into trouble is not knowing when to stop. Ask any accomplished artist about knowing when to stop, and they will know EXACTLY what you mean. It’s the point where Divine inspiration ends and Human thoughts come back into view. It’s human’s first impression. We Love it, but does it lack anything? Does it need more salt? When we don’t already KNOW what’s next, it’s time to Stop.
Monkey doesn’t have to play by the rules of the world. A Monkey can leave one creation behind, if the “next thing” it sees is part of a new creation. There IS a reason we CAN change our mind. It’s part of Human’s design. There must be a Divine Reason for it. We don’t have to defend the choice to move on to create Love on a brand new canvas.
Mystical experiences are possible on Monkey/CHUEN. Monkey/CHUEN knows the Power of Imagination AND the Power of Love. Time is only relevant to Human’s experience. The Truth of ALL Time is known in the Up Above. The Hunab Ku is the Maya’s expression of a One Highest God of ALL, defined as all that was, is, or ever could be… God that could always be every Possibility. There are endless expressions of Love. A God of Consciousness created us for Our Possibility of Love.
To all my relations, may we stand on the Pillars of Unconditional Love to believe Beauty will always be the end when Human holds an Intention to Create Love. May we see the Romantic Comedy of Life. May we see the Truth of the games we play for love. We can remember even the Rabbit, that Overflows with Love, is sometime frozen in place without a next place to go. Yet, even holding still, the Intention is to make a break for it as soon as we see a way.
May we accept the Truth that Human has to Learn how to Divinely Love. It’s a journey of stops and starts, and sometimes we’re way into a masterpiece when we add that last thing that spoiled the whole picture. It was still fun while it lasted. Was it worth the moment we Felt it was true? Wasn’t the experience at least good for the Inspiration? Didn’t we see something even greater by going through the Feelings of it?
When we stand in ANY direction, the Answer will always be right in front of us. The Light to carry us through the Unknown lies across from us in the East. We can believe our Dreams are possible when we look to the Light of our Divine Inspiration. When we remember we dreamed of Love for the Whole, we’ll remember why we chose to Invest our Faith in the possibility. Our Dream is Divinely worthy to be… meant to be.
It WILL look strange and unfamiliar. We’re ascending to a Higher Truth. We’ve never seen it before.
May we give thanks that we Know we Believe in Love. Love WILL BE a Miracle and we get to see it how it happens.

4 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoon is full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
