12 Monkey / CHUEN – Vigil of Light: Day 12 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 raises us to a new Understanding as the Wisdom of our Experience moves from the Head to the Heart. 12 offers a great capacity for retrospection to connect disassociated parts into the Whole of our Understanding.

Monkey/CHUEN is the Weaver of Time and the Master Artist who sees the Beauty in the tapestry of our life. Dog/OC and CHUEN exist together in the center of the Tzolk’in as the two aspects central to the Creator. Dog reflects the loyalty of Unconditional Love, and Monkey is a creator.

Monkey explores life with a sense of curiosity. The Cherokee Day Sign, the Raccoon, is the friendly trickster that coaxes a smile. They remind us not to take ourselves so seriously. Our emotions can be healed by taking on an objective point of view and keeping a sense of humor.

GREEN KIN: ELEMENT OF ETHER
12 Monkey/CHUEN (KIN 51)
is a Portal Day that amplifies our experience through a thinning of the veil. These are days when we are most capable to experience our Supernatural Gifts. A Portal will magnify our Gift of Retrospection. We may find it’s just as magical all our Spiritual Gifts.

5 Monkey / CHUEN – Miracles of Light: Day 5 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 5 offers the Empowerment for our Spiritual Climb. Number 5 represents the Intellect that serves as an organizing force to conceive an application of Spiritual Intention. The energy of 5 represents the center of the cube, that draws what is needed together looking to the core of every situation.

Monkey/CHUEN is gifted for the Intention of Tone 5. Monkey is a creation of Consciousness that loves to learn and explore from its deep sense of curiosity. Monkey’s affinity with Dog is a light-hearted approach. CHUEN loves life for the pleasure of having so many things to learn. Monkey shows us the power we hold when we replace expectations of the outcome with simple curiosity.

When we Believe in Love like the Dog, we know our final destination will be the Joy of Unconditional Love. When we Believe, we’ll use our Consciousness for more than survival. We’ll apply our Spiritual Gifts of Knowing to learn as much as we can. We’ll get “curiouser and curiouser,” as Lewis Carroll’s “Alice and Wonderland.” We will be amazed, seeing how one thing is transformed into another.

Monkey/CHUEN is the Creator known as the Weaver of Time. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on the head of the Monkey. As the Master of all Art, Monkey rearranges the threads of our experience into the tapestry of our life. Monkey sees the Beauty in the collection of our experiences. The Monkey is amazed by what it sees. Seeing the magic of transformation, the Monkey believes that anything is possible. Monkey is always excited to see what will happen, because it knows that whatever darkness appears will end in the Light.

Greetings Kin,

Galactic Tone 10 relates to the materialization of substance, expression, beauty, and potential. Tone 10 is the frequency that allows us to experience beauty of all kinds.

Monkey/CHUEN demonstrates our Power to Manifest through play. As we hold the Intention of our Dream, we’re guided to experience our Creation through the eyes of a child.

Monkey is the Day Sign of High Magic. In the order of the Day Signs, Monkey is in Position 11. The Master Number 11 symbolizes spiritual awakening, intuition, and self-expression, and the number of the mystic.

The Ancient Alchemists knew our greatest Power of Visualization must be carried by the energy of Artful Play. Play releases us from the faculties of reason. We can operate from a place where no limit or judgement is placed on our performance to Dream our Creation.

Monkey is a Creator who plays with ideas. Monkey curiously follows a trail of Beauty and Love. Monkey is the Weaver of Time who sees the whole picture of the tapestry of our lives.

3 Monkey / CHUEN – A Gift of Forgiveness: Day 3 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S BLOG

3 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 3 brings the Intention of Movement. An idea moves from Spirit into the physical world. When we take action on an Intention we draw an Inspiration of Spirit into the material world. A movement that moved microscopic molecules brings life to a vibration that follows its own course. Movement gives life to a Spiritual Inspiration.

The MULUC trecena holds an Intention of empowering ourselves in Spirit, through the Human Sacrifice of forgiveness. Through our Offering, we are Atoned with the Creator for a Healing of our Emotions.

Monkey/CHUEN demonstrates a way of movement that’s different from our emotional reactions. Monkey lives for “the experience.”

Monkey/CHUEN embodies the Power of a Creator. CHUEN is said to be the Master of all Art. CHUEN, like the Creator, resides in a position of Forgiveness. This Monkey never finishes anything, but leaves a trail to follow.

Monkey’s curiosity is void of Judgement. Monkey tries new things just to see what will happen. CHUEN reflects the Creators perspective on our journey through life. We are always forgiven by a Creator who sees our whole life as an exploration. Monkey can help us resolve the suffering of our past, so we move into a new future.

2-DAY PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether This is the second day of a 2-day Portal shared by the Day Signs of Unconditional Love and Creation, Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN.  On Portal days we can see beyond the veil and our Sixth Senses are magnified.  A portal on 3 Monkey/CHUEN will magnify a new perception, as Monkey connects our Intellect and Imagination. We can see things from the “other side.”

9 Monkey / CHUEN – Vision Quest: Day 9 of 13

VISION QUEST: DAY 9
The invitation and introduction is offered on the journal post for 1 Night/AKBAL. Suggestions for daily practice are offered on the Vision Quest Ceremony page.

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 carries the Intention of Patience. As plans and patterns start to form, 9 encourages us to look at the bigger picture. Tone 9 intends to complete an understanding, and warns of potential suffering if we fail to look deeper into our thoughts and inspiration. The suffering is the burden we already carry that deeper reflection can allow us to let go.

Our Vision Quest set an Intention to live in the realm of Spirit. Just as we had to learn to walk in the physical world, we’ve been learning to walk in Spirit. The Elders compare walking to “leaps of faith.” When we learned to walk as children, we first mastered the balance of standing still. We master walking when we gain the courage to fall forward.

To accomplish Spiritual Growth we must be willing to fall, to take a leap of Faith into the Unknown place between our present and our future.

CHUEN is the weaver of Time. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on the head of the Monkey. Monkey/CHUEN calls us to look more deeply to find the Beauty in our Life. Monkey reflects the Creator’s Gifts of Cognition shared with Human. We take for grated the gifts we use every day. Yet, Human is the only Creation that can acquires wisdom by reason versus instinct. It’s a Spiritual Gift that we can travel through time to revisit the past and envision the future. Our Imagination is a Gift of Spirit, and so are our Dreams.

As we seek the Truth that we are Gifted, Divine Justice will be completed by contemplating the gifts we can already identify. Divine Justice for the Creator is also served. Acknowledging our Gifts is a Sacred Exchange.
