9 Eagle / MEN – A Mission of Love: Day 9 of 13

THE TRECENA OF DEER/MANIK GUIDES A WAY

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Eagle / MEN

Greetings Kin,

Peak Tone 9 holds the Intention of Patience to see the Bigger Picture. 9 is a symbol of completion as an exponential value of Trinity, 3 x 3. Tone 9 comes with a warning that there could be suffering to bear for light of deeper insight.

Tone 9 is a Divine Spiritual Tool of exponential value. To claim the Truth of Divine Discernment, we have to be willing to employ our 3 faculties of Consciousness. The Discernment made by our Human Nature is only our first impression. Adding the faculty of our imagination, we can conceive our Highest Hopes. Our Divine Genius for Living is claimed when we use Reason to apply Divine Possibilities to the Dream of our Creation.

A Transformation of Spirit was begun by 8 Jaguar/IX. A Light of “pure spirit” promised the Truth, “As Above, So Below.” We were guided to follow an Unseen path in stealth, using a cloak of invisibility that only reflects the Creator’s Light. To complete the Transformation we have to look again, beyond “all that is” and “all that is not” to “all that could Divinely Be.” We’ll See things differently from a Higher Perspective.

Eagle/MEN is an Intermediary that shares the Vision to see the Future. 9 Eagle/MEN shares a gift of Eagle Vision to see a Dream in the Future. Whatever the Eagle can see lies within its grasp. In the Bigger Picture  we can see beyond the moment to a Divine Discernment of Cause and Effect.

We have to Believe we’ve been changed to claim our Higher Ground. A Divine Intermediary doesn’t have the Answers, but can remind us to look at the Truth from a different scale. When a Human Being measures “all that is” and “all that is not,” we may be inclined to follow the thoughts of our limitations. When we apply Patience to imagine what the Divine Creator sees, we remember that we reached to be a Savior. It was a “mission impossible” for a Human Being to carry out from the beginning.

Eagle/MEN resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. Our future is defined by the Meaning and Purpose of our Intention. The Intention for Movement at the beginning sets the Tone and Frequency of Vibration that follows its own path to the end. What we set in motion for a Divine Cause will always end with a Divine Effect.

The Eagle flies by Intuition, focusing only on the “X” that marks the spot at the end. Keeping its eyes trained on the prize, the Eagle looks beyond the Truth of the Moment. This Time won’t last forever. There IS a Divine Ending and following a Divine path to an Altar, we’ll know we’re perpetually moving toward Higher Ground. We can be sure that the Truth WILL BE self-evident in the future.

The only reason an Eagle doesn’t make it to the end is a Choice to fly away. We can be discouraged when the prize feels like a moving target, or when we fear someone else will snatch it away before we can get there. We are Seen and Acknowledged by Name with every Offering. Divine Justice is the Promise of OUR Sacred Exchange.

The Eagle guides our Highest Hopes and Highest Aspirations. The more we reach beyond all human limitations, the farther we will go. We have to reach beyond Human limitations so we will Finally Give Up to a Higher Power. We we reach to fulfill a Divine Dream of The Creation, we’ll Remember that we can never bring an Offering equal to what the Divine Creator could Give back in the Sacred Exchange.

To all my relations, may we give thanks that Human limitations will never prevent us from reaching the Creator’s End of Divine Justice. Divine Intervention is the only way we could ever reach the Divine End of Heaven on Earth. May we see we could never earn our way to Discern the Higher Truth of Unconditional Love. We never had to earn what was promised from the beginning.

in lak’ech, i am another you

9 Eagle/MEN (Eagle/UWO’HATLI)

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. IMPORTANT UPDATE: My gift for a New Tzolk’in Round…

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide for daily aspects and events of the trecena.

My gift for this Tzolk’in round is linked there, a Tzolk’in Field Guide that has as much about the basic aspects of each day as I could think to put into it. The directions and the elements are aspects of Universal Laws that can be known in MANY ways, through many kinds of practice. My aim with the dates for each trecena, included for the next few years, was an intention that we could have everything for a day in one place at hand, if we didn’t have a computer.

ERRATA: I discovered an error in the Peak Tones listed for the Deer/MANIK trecena (our next journey). A corrected “Revision 1” was uploaded to the 13-day Trecena Guide page on June 6, 2020. If you downloaded the Field Guide on an earlier date, please download the corrected version as a replacement.

How have you changed? What do you want?
