THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC: THE SACRED EXCHANGE
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
6 Jaguar/IX (eesh), Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI, Destiny Kin 214
February 1, 2023, 02/01/2023
Greetings Beloved Kin,

6 Jaguar / IX
Peak Tone 6 raises our Consciousness to the Laws of the Universe, the Real but Unseen Forces that serve behind the scenes. Tone 6 raises the Intention of Flow, representing the Momentum that is created from a rhythm and pattern of movement. “A body in motion tends to stay in motion.”
Momentum depends upon the variables of mass and velocity. How far we are carried by the force depends on the weight and speed we applied from the beginning. Offering/MULUC in position 9 represents a whole investment of the Heart and an “all-in” Investment of “mind over matter.” On Tone 6 we feel the Power of Divine Trinity, when our Hearts and Minds are invested as One. Number 6 is the symbol of Divine Trinity (3) times 2.
On Tone 6 we see the end that we imagined from the beginning, and how much farther we could go to reach a higher end. We set a course of action to reach an end on Tone 4. The end we imagined didn’t account for the wisdom of experience we would learn along the way. It’s hard to measure the incremental power of our experiences of each new day. Today we can see how each day matters, and how ALL Time serves a divine meaning and purpose. No time is wasted, and no Love is ever Lost when the One Above records every moment to return the Blessings of a Sacred Exchange.
Jaguar/IX is the symbol of the Divine Feminine aspects of Compassionate Love and Divine Discernment. A Divine Mother walked in our shoes. She shared every experience of our joy and suffering. When we follow the way, we learn twice as much about the Truth of Everything.
We always learn more when we see things from two different angles, and the Reason is Love. Jaguar/IX is the shaman and the shapeshifter that can see through the eyes of another. IX is the nahaul of Spirit, the invisible side of our self that can see all and know all, like the One Above. When we see that what we experience as “reality” can look entirely different from another Time and Place, we can see the illusions of reality that exist in the all-around.
Jaguar/IX shares the heightened senses of our Spirit when Love is applied to see the Truth all-around. Jaguar’s love the water, and see Truth through a Reflection of a Life that exists in the Up Above, and the Down Below. To discern the Truth of anything, we have to take in the whole experience in all directions – the all-around, the above and below, the inside out, and backwards and forwards of a mirror’s reflection.
One of our Human limitations is only seeing things from one side or another. Life is never black and white. Every Truth has an equal measure at the opposite end of a scale of discernment. As the Guardian of Mother Earth, our Spirit guides us to be wholly invested in the end of Love. To be “all-in” we have to follow the Voice that speaks through our Heart.
There IS no “good” or “bad” when every experience is leading us closer to the end of the Creator’s Dream. It was meant to be. The end of the Creator’s Dream was the Vision that inspired the beginning – to witness every moment of the story that turned the darkness into the light. When we look to see it from that same perspective, it changes the Truth of everything. When we’re wholly invested in the Creator’s Dream, together we can reach an even higher end. Through the investment by two in Divine Trinity, we can reach the Holy, Holy, Holy – the 3 x 3.
The Jaguar always leads us on a journey to the East, where the Sun Rises and where Human Remembers the Light of Divine Inspiration that was shared in the Unknown and Unseen “darkness” of our Dreams. Through the Jaguar’s “earth magic” of Gratitude, we can see beyond the veil of our “one-sided” view of Life. The Jaguar leads us under-cover of darkness with an intention of stealth and invisibility. The way to follow is to look down at your feet. If you can see the “invisible footprints” of the Jaguar, you can see you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. It’s said that the Jaguar’s invisibility is the gift to overcome any challenge and to face any enemy.
The healing of our Emotions that’s offered by the MULUC trecena is carried out in stealth. Honor your feelings. Until you know the Truth of Love, it’s wise to keep them to yourself. Take the Time to see the Truth all around, up above, down below, backwards, forwards, and from both ends of the scale. Has your heart been broken before when you offered the full-investment of Love? Are you afraid that history will repeat itself? Look from the other end of the scale. You can love again, just as much as you loved before, and be confident of a new end, when you remember how much you’ve learned along the way. History only repeats itself, when we fail to learn from the past. That’s one reason to learn the Truth at every cost. Our Destiny always depends on the choices we make today for a new tomorrow.
When you shape-shift into the Jaguar’s shoes, you can focus on seeing the Truth from all angles. When you INTEND to be invisible, your thoughts aren’t divided by the Ego, trying to be seen – thinking more about the “next thing to say” than on the Truth that’s being spoken. Remember the Monkey holds the curiosity to HEAR and SEE everything that’s going on. Our Spirit can Sense the Truth, when we are wholly invested in the experience.
The Jaguar is forever looking for the Light of another Divine Spirit. We each hold a Spark of the Highest One. We can see it if we walk in someone else’s shoes.

Samaritans marking Passover on Mount Gerizim near Nablus – Source: Wikipedia
The “Good Samaritan” demonstrates the Intention to be a Guardian of Life on Mother Earth. The phrase “Good Samaritan” means someone who helps a stranger.
The parable of the Good Samaritan is told by Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. It is about a traveler (implicitly understood to be Jewish) who is stripped of clothing, beaten, and left half dead alongside the road. First, a Jewish priest and then a Levite come by, but both avoid the man. Finally, a Samaritan happens upon the traveler. Although Samaritans and Jews despised each other, the Samaritan helps the injured man. Jesus is described as telling the parable in response to a provocative question from a lawyer, “And who is my neighbor?”, in the context of the Great Commandment. The conclusion is that the neighbor figure in the parable is the one who shows mercy to their fellow man. Source: Wikipedia
The parable is remembered as the “Great Commandment” of Love. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)
If we look high and low from every angle, we will know there’s a reason to Love that’s beyond the Truth that’s visible from our own Time and Place. When we’re “lost in a ditch” is when we pray the most for a hand to save us. We hardly look worth saving when we’ve been beaten and tossed out. From the other side, that’s when a Human hand that reaches to save us is seen as “a guardian angel” From our side, that’s when we see the hand we extended was “the hand of God.”
We realize the Light within through the most unlikely experiences, and places where we never intended to go. Those are the Times we see the Jaguar’s footprints were real and we were guided to the Time and Place where a Divine Creator intended us to be.
IX resides in the North (the up above), the direction of Wisdom, and the Element of Air. Remember, the Creator promises to return every Offering of Love, multiplied by an exponential factor of Divine Trinity. Never regret the offerings of Love you’ve made in the past. That was the first and most important thing we ever learn to do. Don’t change what doesn’t need fixing.
Tone 6 is said to hold the energy of a “great athlete,” one that sees themselves at the head of the pack and realizes the potential for their greatest performance. We are guided to “let go” and “go with the flow” that is powered by the Creator’s Unseen Offering to give back and pay forward every investment of Love. Higher ends are always possible with the Wisdom of Time.
Tone 6 holds the energy to change the static into a dynamic force of nature. The two as one in Divine Trinity holds a value greater than the sum of the parts. 2 Divine Trinities hold the exponential value that exceeds the limits of our Human imagination. History can repeat itself in the best possible way. Tomorrow is “Ground Hog’s Day.” Caring about one another could be the “next new thing” we love better than before.
in lak’ech, i am another you

THE JAGUAR’S MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful for the exponential power of the Creator’s Love, and the higher ends made possible when we guided by Divine Trinity.
A REFLECTION:
When I hear “history repeats itself” I’m usually imagining the worst end of the scale. The Truth can serve a Divine Purpose when we remember how we never forget “the good ole days” we’ve known before. We always appreciate our best times in the past, enough to bring them around again. By the cosmology of the Maya, we begin a new life after 52 years. That’s about the time it takes for something old to become the “new thing” again.
Samara Joy is a child of a new generation that is turning American Jazz into a new thing again, through a whole investment of her “heart.” She’s been nominated for a Grammy. If you listen to the songs from her album, “Linger Awhile,” you might hear the music in a whole new light. (Her name means “guardian” and led me to the story of the “Good Samaritan.”)

Wisdom shared by Ian Xel Lungold – MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Jaguar/IX: Born with a deep love of the Mother Earth, Jaguar or shaman is directly tied to the source of all Earth magic. They possess great power of intellect and strength or character through integrity. Jaguar energy is feminine in nature and is the ruling spirit of jungles, plains, and mountains. The spirit of Jaguar inhabits the Mayan temples and is called on to assist in spiritual as well as in material ways. Jaguar is also the god/goddess of gratefulness. Patience born of strength and skill can turn to pounce of quick decision and action. Both bold and stealth, Jaguars do not often attack directly and communications from them usually contain some mystery. In the absence of integrity, Jaguars power corrupts becoming a search for wealth and fame.
A GOOD DAY TO: Commune with and give thanks to Mother Nature.
On Days led by IX, the Maya offer their prayers for Grandmothers, Mothers, Aunts, Daughters, Sisters and all who walk in the shoes of the Divine Feminine.
Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI: Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, shooting stars, fireballs, and magicians. Meteors appearing around the middle of November are Heralds of the Coming of the Light, the Cherokee New Year. Panther is the Shadow of the Sphinx, Herald of the Dawn, guardian of the night when the sun is traveling through the underworld. Panthers have unlimited imaginations, visualizations, and are spellbinding speakers. The Cherokee Totem Jaguar is the guardian of the portals to other dimensions; shamanic abilities will open; multi-dimensional magic; healer, leader, way shower energy when used for spiritual growth. Abuse would be for using this power for control or negative purposes; must find a powerful balance. Ix: The Kab’awil represents the heart of the planet, the female reproductive tract, the face of a jaguar and points east on the world map. Ix: woman, tiger. Conducive to pray for grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters and wives day. For wisdom at 4 Balances, cunning and protection of Mother Nature. To thank the Earth for sustenance. Ix is the native cunning, enterprising, vigorous, bold and realistic.
Description from the Aztec Calendar:
Day Ocelotl (Jaguar, known as Ix in Maya) is governed by Tlazolteotl as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Ocelotl is a good day for doing battle. It signifies power, valor, and reckless abandon in the face of danger. This is a day of the Warriors of Tezcatlipoca, those who willingly sacrifice their lives to keep the flame of the Old Ones burning forever.
Tlazolteotl-Tlaelquani is sometimes called the Goddess of filth. She was the Goddess of the black, fertile earth, the rotting earth, the fecund earth that gains its energy from death, and in turn feeds life. Associated with purification, expiation, and regeneration, She turns all garbage, physical and meta-physical, into rich life. Wikipedia
(In the trecena of MULUC, it sounds like a good day to give thanks for the Earth’s purification of Water, and a good time for a sacred ritual of bathing to wash our sins away.)
