The Aztec Calendar: On the trecena of MULUC

Hoatzin Bird – Also referred to as the “stink bird” lives in the swamps and builds its nests over the water. It reminds me of the “ugly” Aztec “jewelled fowl” Chalchihuihtotolin.
The thirteen day period (trecena) that starts with day 1-Atl (Water) is ruled by Chalchihuihtotolin. These are 13 days of instability and unexpected events, of accidents and coincidences: these are good days to gamble a little on a long-shot; bad days to gamble a lot on a sure thing. Every day rollercoasters between all-good and all-bad, between rapture and terror. This trecena advises the priest-warrior to perfect the art of shapeshifting: only by mimicking the nature of water do we become an agent of change rather than a target of it. The purified heart casts no reflection in the smoking mirror.
Chalchihuihtotolin, the Jewelled Fowl, Tezcatlipoca’s nagual. Chalchihuihtotolin is a symbol of powerful sorcery.
Tezcatlipoca can tempt humans into self-destruction, but when he takes his turkey form he can also cleanse them of contamination, absolve them of guilt, and overcome their fate.
The Maya define MULUC as a symbol of water, the Moon, and our Human emotions. The Time holds the potential for healing on a mass level. The crystalline form of Water can be changed by our Gratitude and Appreciation. Pure, clean water is a critical element of Life.
Clearly the animals who live in Arizona are grateful for the blessing. Clean water is worth fighting for on behalf of the whole.
Dr. Masaru Emoto and Water Consciousness
This article offers the results of Dr. Emoto’s experiments with Water, and shows how the crystalline structure of water is changed by our thoughts, our blessings, and music.
I’ve been preparing structured water and giving thanks for it while I carry out the task. It’s raised my consciousness to the blessing that is a gift created by Lightning, the Creator’s Light from Above. ALL water is Holy and a Divine Mystery that we can look to see.
His research also showed us how polluted and toxic water, when exposed to to prayer and intention can be altered and restored to beautifully formed geometric crystals found in clean, healthy water. The following photos are images of photographs of the the water in the Fujiwara Dam before and after the Reverend Kato Hoki, chief priest of Jyuhouin Temple, offered an hour long prayer over it.
We’re made of water. The focus of our Intentions changes the water within. Water is one of the “stickiest elements.” You can’t touch it without getting wet. According to science, it’s stickiest to itself, a reason why it flows together along a course of least resistance.
Life flows according to God’s Will, and the less we embrace every moment as carrying a Divine Meaning and Purpose, the more the thoughts of Gratitude and Appreciation stick to our body of thoughts.
Water is used by the Mayan priest for blessings, baptisms, initiations, and purification.
Water IS a gift from Heaven to Earth.

7 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)
Wisdom shared by Ian Xel Lungold – MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
A GOOD DAY TO: Ascend to a Larger Perspective
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
