6 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Monkey/CHUEN is the archetype of a Divine Creator. CHUEN is Day that marks the Initiation of the Mayan Daykeepers, those who count the days to know the meaning of Time. CHUEN is the “Weaver of Time.” The glyph shows “all time rolled up” on the Monkey’s head.

The Monkey is the Master of all arts, a Genius of the animal kingdom for its unlimited talent of Human expressions. CHUEN holds position 11, the number that symbolizes Inspiration from a Divine Source Above. The Dog/OC in position 10, and the Monkey/CHUEN in position 11 reside as One at the top of the uinal pyramid, said to hold affinity.

The Dog shares the Inspiration of Unconditional Love. The Monkey is inspired by Love to manifest the Beauty-of-Creation.

The Monkey embraces the Gift of Consciousness in the same way the Dog embraces the Gift of Unconditional Love. When the two are united as One, there’s no limit to the Beauty we could create and the Truth we could know about the Whole Creation.

Together, they reflect a question often posed by those who intend to motivate others to achieve their highest accomplishment, “What would you do, if you knew you couldn’t fail?”

What if everything you were inspired to create was destined to be a  thing of Beauty and Divine Genius?

What’s the Point of the Creator’s Offering of Unconditional Love? If we KNEW we were Loved, exactly for who we are, how different would our life be? We are being raised by every round of the Tzolk’in to know that’s the Highest Truth the Creator intended for everyone to know.

Monkey/CHUEN is called the alchemyst who manifests every creation as a game. Humans receive their highest inspirations when we’re playing around. The Monkey is a master of creating and using tools, not so much for the intention of creating tools as to explore how things work. We can learn how to take one thing with a purpose and adapt it to serve an entirely different purpose. Some are inspired by the beauty of grass to grow a whole carpet of it around the house. Someone else, saw grass and used it to weave a basket. Who used it for its intended purpose? Who was “right” and who was “wrong?”  The answer depends on “who you are” and “what you want.”

CHUEN resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. The Transformer/CIMI shares a Gift of Clairvoyance to see the future. We hold the gift when we choose what we intend our future to be. Holding the Element of Water, CHUEN relates to the living water that flows through the Heart. Our most beautiful creations are inspired by what we Love, a Feeling or a Vision that speaks to us that we long to express. Every creation is Masterpiece that was drawn from Human’s imagination, a Divine Offering from the One Above.

What would you love to create? That’s the question. With every Sunrise a Supreme Lord of Creation leaves a Dream on our pillow for the Masterpiece of Life that we could create Today.

What do we think about all day? How much time do we spend trying to defend who we are, or proving that we’re enough – just to measure up by “rules of a game” that was created by another Human Being? Who made the rules, anyway? ALL that Time was intended for us to be invested in Love. We were gifted with our own Conscious, and the Offering of the Sacred Right to Choose whatever we want our Life to be. We don’t have to be the same. All the facts point to the Truth that we were all intended to be different, just the same. The ONLY authority is the Supreme Lord of Creation with One Rule, to love one another as we love our self.

We try a lot harder to please others. We’re willing to sacrifice our whole life – the Truth of who we are – toward the end of making someone else happy. When we revolt and demand our own way, we become the trouble-makers of the world. There’s a time for every purpose and we were intended to invest time in every purpose. Balance is the way to Love everything. The story of the savior is about one who died for being different and proclaiming a Divine Identity. We were born to be different in an unlimited number of ways, for the unlimited expressions of Beauty we could all create as “original” and “authentic” works of Art, born from our different way of seeing the same things.

How long will be try to kill off who we really are, before we learn that “who we are” was the Creator’s Masterpiece? What would you create if everyone loved you just the way you are? How would that change the “sum of the whole” thoughts on your mind from the beginning to the end of every day?

How many thoughts are consumed by trying to fit in – thoughts that weigh heavy? All those thoughts can be cleared away by a Truth of Love. When our hearts are Light, the next best thing to do is to play around and have some fun. Those are days we dream of, when we know everything will be all right.

Thoughts of joy, love, and  the authenticity of our own expression is Freedom we were given the Right to Choose, and KNOW that the Highest One would be delighted by every creation that we manifested out of thin air, from just one thought of Love. At the beginning of our creation, the Creator said, “this is good.” We’re not born “to get better” at anything, but to wonder at all the thoughts and ideas of beauty in either form or function all came from one thought of Love through the Gift of Consciousness to imagine all the possibilities.

May we not waste anymore time being what any human says we should be, or be influenced by who “they say” we are. A Divine Authority told the Truth that we’re perfect from the beginning. Instead, we can imagine what we could do with our life to make it fun and to express love for the diversity of every different way.

We deserve to know we are beautiful by Divine Design. We just can’t take the credit. We were manifested by a Master’s hand. The point is not to spend all day thinking about self, but engaging Divine Inspiration from the things we Love to manifest a Life from Our Dreams. That’s the only way to ever know what we could create as the authentic expression of who we are… an original work of art. There’s something beautiful to see in every expression. That would be one good reason for the Greatest Law to be a Rule of Golden Proportions of Love, ever-expanding with each generation, from the Wisdom of Love that came before.

The Monkey and the Raccoon are the “divine tricksters” of Spirit. The Monkey may be smarter than we are, when it comes to using time for a Divine Purpose. The Raccoon sees the treasures we threw in the trash, and proves it’s Beautiful when we wash all the mud off our face. It took someone just monkeying around to create the beauty of abstract art.

Tone 6 is about going with the flow. Go with the flow of the different way you are, just to see how original your Creation could be. Beauty will always lie in the eye of the Divine Beholder. If someone else wants to follow all the Human rules of success, let them create their masterpiece as a common imitation of Monkey Business.

love, in lak’ech,

Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN

Gratitude: The Jaguar’s “earth magic”
I’m grateful that at our best or worst, we’re always worthy as a Divine Example for who someone does or doesn’t want to be.

6 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) –  Day 6 of 13 in the trecena of Transformer/CIMI, Change on the Scale of Death and Life

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
