Eagle / MEN
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Eagle/MEN offers a Higher Perspective of the Truth. The Eagle sees a direct path to the end beyond all the obstacles on the path below. The Eagle’s strength of Spirit is knowing whatever it sees lies within its grasp.
Eagle’s fly by intuition. Like a master golfer who sees the ball’s path to the end before the swing, the Eagle senses a direct path by Feeling. The Eagle’s strategy is lock it’s focus on the prize, then take a leap and fall as it aims for the future. There is no turbulence when your eyes are steadily focused on the prize.
Tone 11 shares the Truth we claimed on Tone 10 from the Creator’s perspective. There’s a Divine Reason for us to reach the end. It’s only an up-hill battle until we turn it all over and let it go.
On Tone 11 the shaman climbs to the Highest Altar with an Offering of Truth that we were capable to see. Like a Divine pair of Antennae, 11 tunes us in to a Higher Vibration to feel the Truth with Crystal clarity. The higher ground in the future is a Truth we can know without seeing all the details. We only have to lean in to the Truth, the way the Eagle leans into the Wind.
It’s easy when we don’t expect the journey to be one way or another.
The Eagle’s shadow is a fear of competition that someone else will get there first. We are raised by the Intention to Love to a Mission that’s all our own. The Dreams inspired by a Creator was offered with our Name on it. When our Intention is to prove what the Creator will do, no Human can rise above the Creator’s Divine Will.
Holding the Element of Water, the Light of a Higher Truth can flow through our Heart. Eagle/MEN holds position 15, a symbol of 5 x 3. Like CHICCHAN, the Eagle’s Kin Numbers all reflect the 5 in the lower place – the symbol of Empowerment and the Feeling of Knowing we can.
We can know the Future when we apply Truth as the Wisdom of our own Experience. When our eyes are Vigilantly fixed on the Truth of a Higher One, it’s only a matter of Time and all the experiences that will guide the way. A Dream is never as far off after we’ve taken a few steps and see that one step always leads us to the “next wise thing” to do.
The Eagle doesn’t fear a storm. It flies into it to ride the current to a higher altitude.

Bald Eagle Fishing
11 Eagle/MEN offers the Clear Vision to see a brighter future than we’ve known in the past. We don’t have to know the way and we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.
All we need is the spark of Light to keep our bearings and lean into the Wind that will carry us back and forth directly to the end. The Eagle arrives at the perfect time to reach beneath the surface of the water and grasp a prize in motion. When we see the Truth that the Dream was ours to claim from the beginning, we can remember the Dream we Love is meant to be.
in lak’ech, i am another you

21 DAYS OF GRATITUDE: Beginning 10 Jaguar/IX to 5 Eagle/MEN
I’m grateful that God knows the way, and I only have to follow the Highest Order to Love to know it’s meant to be.

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
11 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI) – Day 11 of 13 in the Serpent CHICCHAN’s cycle of “light.”
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
A GOOD DAY TO: Rise to a higher perspective.
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
