Greetings Beloved Kin,

8 Deer/MANIK

Peak Tone 8 begins the Transformation phase of the 13-day trecena. Number 8 is a symbol of life and abundance to infinity. The Mayan word for Number 8, WAXAJQIB, is defined as “pure Spirit.” Tone 8 holds the Intention of Justice in Harmony and Equity with the whole. The 8th hour of Light is the Zenith Hour, beyond the Center of Human’s creation on the 7th Day of the 7 days and 6 nights of creation.

The Celebration of the Mayan priest honors the one who counts the days, and on behalf of the whole, observes the rituals and ceremonies that are ordered by Time. The Deer stands silently in the Integrity of the Truth.

The glyph illustrates the Hand, another name for MANIK, grasping a thread of Ether that completes a circuit of Divine Power.  The Truth is the Truth from the beginning to the end and no one can change it. As the Witness to ALL Time, the Creator is the Only Authority who can perfectly enforce the balance of Divine Justice.

We don’t have to defend the Truth known to the Highest One. Deer/MANIK is the Hand Below that serves the Hand Above through an offering of Unconditional Love. The Creator’s Truth speaks for itself when Justice is carried out by the Hand Above. Justice corrupts the Integrity of Human Faith and Service of Love we are ordered to share under the Law of the Golden Rule.

MANIK holds the Spiritual Tools of Spirit. The Staff of Life is a symbol of the a Divine Provision for every Human limitation.

Psalms 18:28-30 NIV
You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

Deer/MANIK holds the Element of Water that flows through the Heart. The Truth is we all fail in our Intention to follow the  Divine Law of Love. Only the Creator knows the Reason why, and knows the Heart aligned in the Humility of our limitations that define us as One with the Whole. MANIK holds the Power of Harmonic Resonance. Standing equal with the whole is the Power to draw lower vibrations into sympathy with the Creator’s Vibration of Love.

The Creator is the Only One to say when our chances are over. This is a day to offer our Blessings and Gratitude to those who are dedicated to a Mission to see the Value of the Creator’s Light that was written in the Heart of Every seed.

This is a day to offer our Gratitude and Appreciation to those who abide by the Creator’s Laws and are Dedicated to the Purpose by an Intention to Love. We were intended to Only Serve the Highest One. Our fate doesn’t depend on the favor of another Human being. Our Lives are held under the Sovereign Authority of the One who knows our Heart, and who is the first hand witness to every injustice of the world.

This is a Day to Celebrate the Truth and the Beauty of the One that promises to stand in our corner to the end of our Time. Standing silently without defense we can turn away from the negativity and judgement of any Human Being who fails to see the Truth. The Creator’s Truth is the Final Word.

Ephesians 6:12
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We can give thanks that the war between Good and Evil is not Human’s battle for we’d surely fail. The Creator’s Light and Truth will always be a measure of our Faith in the Highest One as the One and Only Source for our Salvation.

We can Count our Blessings that we were created to kneel to NO ONE, except our Lord and Maker. The Creator’s Word is the Only Truth that matters. We were given the Choice to turn away from the evil that dwells in the hearts of those who are led by their doubts and fears. Dwelling in the Light of God, we claim our One and Only first and last hope to the end of Time.

May we dedicate our Heart, Mind and Soul to a path of righteousness, surrendered to the Light that shines for the whole. May we kneel to the Truth of our limitations, and Give Thanks for the Promise to be measured by a Hand of the Highest Authority with the Power over every darkness in the world.

May we serve as the Hand joined to the Legion of Light that forever shares the Power and Truth of the Creator’s Love.

The Righteousness of our Divine Cause is the shield that covers the Heart.

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

8 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 8 of 13 of the 1 Sun/AHAU trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of service to others.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
